I Can Bind The Legendary Archmage To Train For Me! Chapter 22

Time gradually passed.
In the blink of an eye, five days passed.
In the past five days, Karl spent a lot of time in the cultivation room of the academy practicing magic compression.
He worked hard for five days.
He could now compress magic to the size of a fist.
His progress was rapid, but Karl was still not satisfied.
He felt that it was too slow.
Because after compressing magic to the size of a fist, he could not compress it any further.
It was as if he had reached a bottleneck.
He could not compress his magic any further.
This morning, Karl roused himself from his meditation and stretched.
As a mage, he was naturally different from ordinary people. His spiritual energy was already quite strong.
He didn't have to sleep every day.
Therefore, Karl always switched between sleep and meditation. If he meditated tonight, he would sleep tomorrow night.
Although a mage's spiritual energy was stronger than other ordinary people, his rank was still too low.
If he did not sleep for a long time.
His body would not be able to take it.
The first thing Karl did when he woke up was to open his attribute panel.
[Host: Karl Soro]
Level: One-star Mage (advanced stage)
Magical Talent: Lightning Elite Lightning Magical Talent
Magic Skill: Calamity of Destruction
Binded Target 1: Headmaster of Violet High School, Rayne Kirby, an Great Mage.
At the end of "Binded Target 1", a pale gold "+" appeared.
When he saw it, Karl said in his mind, "System, share Rayne's one day worth of cultivation experience!"
[Sharing cultivation experience with the host!]
Then a white gas matter that appeared in the air was absorbed by Karl's body. His body glowed with a faint golden light.
The exact same words.
The exact same thing.

This was what Karl did every morning when he woke up.
Although he had to do the same thing every day when he woke up, Karl did not find it boring.
After all, doing so would increase his cultivation.
The white gas was completely absorbed by Karl's body.
"Bang!"
A loud sound came from within Karl's body. A magical power several times stronger than before was released.
It was born inside of him.
He had finally broken through today.
He was now a beginner stage two-star mage!
Checking his body, Karl could not help but sigh.
Being able to share other people's cultivation experience was simply too powerful.
It had been more than ten days since the assessment ceremony.
He did not make any effort to increase his rank.
His hard work was only on magic control and gaining combat experience.
However, due to the existence of the system, he still became a two-star mage even though he did not deliberately try to increase his rank.
Other students, such as his roommate, William.
They required time to practice compressing magic, time to accumulate combat experience, and time to increase their level.
Karl, on the other hand, did not need to waste time on increasing his rank.
The experience points kept increasing.
His rank was increasing faster than everyone else's.
It felt good.
After that, Karl washed up. He planned to find a way to the Devil's Den.
The magic communication stone on his body suddenly emitted magic waves.
Gargado was looking for him.
"Are you in the Academy now, Karl?"
Gargado's voice came from the magic communication stone.
A few days ago, Karl had told her he was coming to the Academy. He should already be there.
"I'm here, Teacher Gargado. I'm in the dormitory,"
Karl replied.
"Alright, I'll go look for you now."

With that, Gargado cut the connection.
Karl guessed that Gargado wanted to see the results of his cultivation.
However, this was also a good thing. It just so happened that Karl could not compress his magic further. He could ask Gargado for guidance.
Ten minutes later.
Gargado arrived at Karl's dorm.
"Are you the only one staying here?"
Gargado came in from the door and asked after glancing around the dormitory.
"I have a roommate named William, but he seems to have stayed out the whole night. I don't know where he went."
"Oh, it's him."
Gargado nodded. As the special admissions teacher of the Holy Vestige Magic Academy, she had seen all the information on the special admission students.
She remembered seeing something about William.
Then Gargado sized Karl up and said, "You've changed a lot during this period of time. Alright, let me see the results of your cultivation."
Karl nodded.
He put his hands in front of his chest. A football-sized ball of magic formed between his palms.
Then, he began to compress it.
As the magic ball became smaller and smaller, Gargado's expression became increasingly surprised.
Karl compressed the magic ball to the size of a fist.
"Teacher Gargado, I can only compress it to this extent. It's like I've reached a bottleneck. I can't compress it any further,"
Karl said as he looked at Gargado helplessly.
"You can only…"
Gargado could not help but mutter silently.
Now, most special admission students could only compress their magic to a size a little smaller than a football.
That was already very impressive.
Karl, on the other hand, had compressed his magic into the size of a fist.
From his tone, it seemed like he was not satisfied?
However, Gargado's expression did not reveal her thoughts. She nodded calmly and said, "It's not bad."
Then, Gargado continued, "You are unable to compress your magic further because you are paying too much attention to compression when you release your magic."
"You need to know that magic isn't a weapon. It's a part of your body, a gift from the heavens."
"Therefore, don't treat it as an external object. Use it like your limbs or organs."
A thought flashed through Karl's mind. He closed his eyes and seemed to have instantly understood something.
He had made a mistake earlier.
He was too focused on compressing it, he neglected the essence of magic.
Gargado saw Karl close his eyes and smiled.
She did not disturb him.
She had been at the Holy Vestige Magic Academy for so many years and had seen her share of geniuses.
However, it was extremely rare for someone to be able to control magic to this extent in just over ten days.
This made her feel that she was right in recruiting this student to the Holy Vestige Magic Academy.
It was worth it.
At this moment.
Karl opened his eyes, and with a boom, a football-sized ball of magic appeared in his palm again.
He began to compress it.
Karl compressed the magic ball to the size of a fist and continued compressing it.
At first, Gargado hadn't thought much of what Karl was doing.
But as she watched him compress the magic, shock gradually appeared on her face.
Karl had compressed the magic ball into a speck!
