I Have A Miniature World Chapter 16

"Of course, I've investigated it. It's said that an archaic god walked out from the god burial domain and destroyed the Thunder God Empire."
The spy replied.
"What bullsh*t archaic god? Are you kidding me? The so-called gods were crushed under the wheel of history. Where did you get this information from?"
This person was in charge of the spies. He did not believe that there were so-called gods in this world.
This was simply ridiculous. If he did not believe this person's loyalty, he would have suspected that this person had been bribed.
"Everything I said is true. After the ancient god came out, he helped the Kingdom of Wisdom defeat the Thunder God Empire.
"According to the insiders, the entire Thunder God Empire's imperial city was frozen by the god.
"The core members had all died. Even Aros, who had a world item in his hands, was no match for them and was reduced to ashes.
"A few days ago, the Kingdom of Wisdom was in a state of famine. It was also the archaic god who took action and brought them food. The rice piled up into the mountains descended from the sky, and landed in front of the Kingdom of Wisdom's city gates.
"I personally saw it. The divine powers might have left people with no choice but to worship it. I wanted to kneel on the spot and pray sincerely."
The spy leader's gaze was solemn as he muttered, "I didn't expect it to be true. In other words, the Kingdom of Wisdom has received the protection of an archaic god."
Archaic god.
Legend had it that there was a divine ability that could move mountains and fill seas.
Even if the Kingdom of Wisdom did not have a world item with the protection of an archaic god, who would dare to provoke it rashly?
After all, no one wanted to end up like the Thunder God Empire. Even if they had the ability to use a world item, they would not be a match for a god.

"That's right. We shouldn't easily provoke the Kingdom of Wisdom. The power of a god is too terrifying."
"It's said that the god's body is ten thousand feet tall. Just a single toe is as heavy as a mountain. His two eyes are astonishingly big. Just a single hair from his body can crush us to death."
"If a world item has the power to destroy the balance of the world, then the divine power of an archaic god is beyond that."
Everyone discussed animatedly. They were all afraid of the power of an ancient god.
If it was possible, they were not willing to stand on the opposite side of a god. Instead, they were playing with fire.
"Alright, this isn't something we can decide. So immediately send the news back to the country. As for what the king thinks, it's not something we can care about.
"After all, we're just a small part of the news."
At the same time, similar news spread throughout the various large countries.
The deeds of the Kingdom of Wisdom were like a whirlwind, famous in the surrounding territories.
...
At this moment, in a small courtyard.
Emerson asked, "System, how should I cultivate next?"
He had already put the miniature world to one side.
The most important thing now was how to choose his own path and walk on the Path of Transcendence.
Only by walking on the Path of Transcendence would I obtain a chance of survival in a future crisis.
"Master, I've already tested the constitution of the miniature world and the constitution of this world. The difference between them isn't much. The cultivation system of the miniature world is also suitable for this world."
He finally understood.
"It seems that my luck is excellent. I didn't expect to encounter such a thing. What cultivation technique should I cultivate!"
In the beginning, what he was most worried about was that the cultivation technique of the miniature world could not be used in this world.
Now, he had no such worries.

The most important thing was which cultivation technique to choose to cultivate.
After all, to become a powerhouse, the foundation was important.
A tall building was built from the ground.
To become a powerhouse, was the most important thing for every cultivator at the most basic stage.
"Master, I've read it just now. Your followers have sacrificed a total of 1,860,000 martial arts manuals.
"I've already selected the most suitable cultivation technique for master to cultivate, the Void Devouring Technique!
"It can help master rapidly devour the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. But, at the same time, master's cultivation speed is hundreds of times faster than others."
"Hiss!"
Emerson sucked in a breath of cold air.
Such a terrifying cultivation technique meant that one day of cultivation was equivalent to a hundred days of other people's cultivation.
However, in this era that was about to erupt with crisis, the speed was still a little slow.
"Master, don't worry. This is only the self-cultivation of the cultivation technique. In other words, when master is sleeping, he can automatically absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth to increase his cultivation.
"With my help, master's cultivation speed can also be increased by dozens of times on top of this foundation."
"Master, don't worry."
The system was popularizing basic knowledge. Ever since it had fused with the Heart of Wisdom, Emerson's comprehension ability had increased rapidly. He could easily comprehend even the most obscure cultivation method.
Moreover, when learning a skill, he could draw inferences from one example and increase his comprehension multiple times.
Before awakening the system, Emerson had meditated for three years, and his spiritual power had long reached a terrifying level.
This meditation technique was not a simple thing. Instead, it was to practice the bible of the spiritual book, the Divine Codex of Meditation.
Emerson was not willing to waste any time, especially at this critical moment.
Every minute wasted was a minute more dangerous.
"Master, the spiritual energy in this place is too thin, and it's not suitable for cultivation. Therefore, we must find a place with rich spiritual energy."
Just as Emerson was cultivating, the system reminded him.
"If that's the case, what place should we choose?"
"We should choose some places in the mountains and forests. The spiritual energy there is rich, and the environment is quiet. No one will disturb us. It's a good place to cultivate."
Emerson nodded.
Even though the spiritual energy of heaven and earth had recovered, not every place had rich spiritual energy.
Like animals, they liked to gather in the mountains and forests, where the environment was quiet and secluded.
This was because most of these places had spiritual veins to nourish the world and nurture outstanding people.
Even if the spiritual energy did not recover, the spiritual energy in these places was dozens or even hundreds of times more than in the cities.
Cultivating in these places would increase the speed of improvement by a hundred times.
After all, even if it was like an engine, it only had strong power. Without fuel, it could not reach the ideal speed.
"Mount Bida!"
This place instantly appeared in Emerson's mind.
Mount Bida was tens of thousands of miles long, and one could not see the end of it. Ancient trees were everywhere, and the mountain reached into the clouds.
Some legends said that there was a huge dragon vein hidden in Mount Bida.
This was also why there were so many animals in it, and it was a tourist destination that countless tourists yearned for.
Although S.H.I.E.L.D had sealed off mount Bida, and the entire community was forbidden from entering, that was only for ordinary people. But, with the world's props on him, he could already be considered to have extraordinary powers.
Those wild beasts that seemed wild in the eyes of others were not even worth mentioning in his eyes.

Valor and Violence
Valor and Violence is a series of short stories following different, yet all equally colourful, characters set in the same world. Birth of a Legend, the first short, follows Captain Erskine Erwell, a newly promoted Captain in the Calandorian Royal Navy, charged with protecting his people from all who would do them harm. Great news for the Calandorian citizens, bad news for the Skjar reavers that ravage the shores in search of slaves. But when a small reaver fleet slips the net and escapes to the southern jungles of Marduk, Erwell must fight a war on two fronts; one against the raiders, and a far more difficult war against the hostile landscape. If he can't find allies in this strange land, he may end up being the one in need of saving. The first part of the second short story will be uploaded on Saturday, the 11th of June, following Ferez Ahud, an aspiring young battlemage charged with the unsavoury job of 'terminating' a rogue member of his college. But how this nobody of a mage became a fugitive remains a mystery, and when the answer is discovered, the tables are turned and the hunter becomes the prey. I'll be uploading chapters of more in-universe short stories each week or as close to, work permitting. Content Guidelines: course language and violence

The Core of a Factory
An abandoned steampunk arms factory, in the middle of a conflict torn former state of the Empire it served, gains a soul. This transforms it into a Lord, capable of turning land into power. Beset by enemies on all sides it must figure out how to win the war its creators lost a century ago. This is a progressive Dungeon Core novel (which is to say the core will progress and expand in scale, eventually) across multiple dimensions with different characteristics (e.g. steampunk, magic, mythological). It has rationalist leanings (paragraphs of reasoning) and litrpg leanings (there are stat blocks). The core game mechanical idea is something like "what if different flavors of magic power actually did come from controlling land" and then the story is: "what if there was a flavorless (artifact deck) dungeon core". Chapters will be relatively short (my aim is that in three column format each would fit on a wide screen monitor), the first few chapters - setting up the main character and mechanics - are currently the longest in the entire series. I write chapters in blocks, and then release them one a weekday (M-F; 6 PM GMT, unless RoyalRoad's publish thing screws up) until I run out. There may be a few days of gaps here and there if someone finds an egregious error I have to re-write around or if I am behind. In general though one can read this once a weekend. I may do slight retconns and edits, I'll make sure to put it in an authors note if I do.
