Today’s Dinner Is The Hero Chapter 11

Azel’s night-colored hair brushed against my cheeks as if indulging me in between my shallow breaths.

I managed to rub my cheeks back, with my head clouded by blood loss and venom. He didn’t have to do this. I wouldn’t leave anyway.

“Nn… Ha…. It’s really, really delicious…”

“Gh… I’m…. glad… to hear… that.”

“…”

“Ah…!”

I replied to him, smiling, with words muttered in delirium and my voice slurred. Then, the fangs that had been lodged in me slipped out.

I shuddered at the sensation, and blood overflowed from my wound. Since he sucked my blood in a hurry, my skin that had become sensitive, melted needlessly.

I felt his hot tongue, covered in saliva, lick my wound viscously. He licked me relentlessly, over and over again, until my wounds gradually closed.

I couldn’t find any more strength, and both my hands that had fallen away from Azel’s clothes laid sluggishly on the bed.

“Sh-Shal…!”

Azel looked flustered and called out to me, but I couldn’t answer him as I lay there listlessly and simply shook my head.

“I-I’m sorry… Aa, uu…”

An apology rushed out of his mouth.

Azel was distraught to the point of looking pitiful. He probably didn’t plan on taking an awful lot of blood from me.

It’s okay. You may not know it, but this Hero is strong. This isn’t something worth worrying about.

I shook my head, trying to convey to him those thoughts, but Azel grabbed the sheet I was lying on and wrapped it around me, trying to manage my blood loss and my slightly lowered body temperature.

“N– ah, ngh…!”

“?! D-Does it hurt?!”

I let out a high-pitched scream, and a panicked, anxious face took a quick look at me.

No, you’re wrong. It’s not what you think.

I was about to tell him no, but an incomprehensible sound almost came out instead, so I hurriedly bit my lips.

The loss of blood was painful and made me dizzy. My shoulders stiffened when I tried to exert myself, but something was eating at me more than that.

Your venom… the aphrodisiac is taking effect, and it’s making it hard for my body, which has been neglected in a lot of ways…!

I complained with a feverish inner voice, but it wasn’t conveyed to the frantic Azel.

I wanted to tell him that I wasn’t really trying to run away, or that I didn’t mind all this rough sucking of blood.

But, when I tried to open my thinly bitten lips, I felt like I was going to breathe out something enticing from the grazing of the sheets, so I couldn’t speak carelessly.

At any rate, I couldn’t let him see this shameful sight, so I had to do something about it.

I had been enduring this desire that was driving me crazy. I felt bad for Azel, who was looking so grief-stricken like he was about to die, but I wanted to be left alone.

Perhaps he didn’t mean to do all that, but he had become so distracted by the fact that I was exhausted and limping, that he couldn’t even think of the venom in his fangs, even a speck of dust in the universe wasn’t on his mind right now.

But, I didn’t really care that I had been hurt. It was just an insignificant and trivial thing.

What was more important was the fact that I had to be careful; otherwise, I would yield to the obscene venom and indulge in the pleasures.

“Aze… Sorry, but… please get out of the room…”

“Ngh… I… can’t…!”

Don’t say you can’t.

I desperately pleaded with my eyes, begging him to understand because it would even be worse for me to show you my foolishness.

I wanted to shamelessly comfort myself and let out some heat, but I wouldn’t be able to do anything if Azel was here.

Just who would want to see the figure of a dull, muscular man panting? I wanted him to escape immediately before his eyes root from the image of hell.

Ahh, geez. My head was getting so clouded. I was also at my limit, trying to stay sane.

“L-Let me at least put you to bed.”

“S…top… Don’t… touch me…!”

If he does that, then he’ll get ahold of various places when he carries my body…!

I firmly rejected him since it would cause my voice to leak out when he touches me. But Azel’s expression, previously driven by anxiety, now looked shocked as he fell into silence, trembling for a short while.

I-I said it too harshly.

Although it was just on the spur of the moment, it might’ve further misled him and hurt him.

My heart ached at the sight of him, and I felt regretful. Azel glanced back at me and nodded his head after a while.

Then he dropped his shoulders and walked out of the room.
