My Husband's Been Exposed By The Media Chapter 20

The exact same bottle of red wine, stood quietly in the depths of the wine cabinet, unopened.
It was exactly the same as the two bottles of red wine in Mabel's hands.
Mary rarely drank wine, so she didn't understand wine at all. When she heard Mabel say that there was a bottle of wine that was exactly the same as her in Belland's wine cabinet, Mary's first reaction was -- fake.
She smiled embarrassedly. "It should be bought by Belland to decorate the wine cabinet."
The meaning was very obvious. It could be that they had bought fake goods to decorate the wine cabinet.
Mabel's expression returned to normal. Indeed, with Mary's poor husband's income, it was impossible to support the existence of such a high-class bottle of wine in his wine cabinet.
The only possibility was that the wine cabinet was filled with fake wine.
This made Mabel's expression even more disdainful. She smiled at Francis and said, "Belland, it seems that you really know a lot about wine. Then I didn't choose the wrong gift. I can let you have a taste of this bottle of wine, right?"
Francis looked at her with a faint smile. "I think you're mistaken. The bottle in the wine cabinet is not the same as the one in your hand."
Mabel shrugged. "I know."
Isn't it just fake wine? Mary had already made it very clear.
Francis stretched out a finger and shook it left and right. His finger was very white and long. The joints of his bones were distinct, possessing a strange beauty.
"Can you take out the bottle in the wine cabinet?" Francis still had a toothpick in his mouth and said playfully.
Mabel didn't understand what he meant, but he suddenly felt that today's Belland was particularly charming. It was different from the past. Today, he seemed somewhat more lively and unrestrained.

According to Francis, Mabel took out the bottle of red wine, looked at the bottle, and said, "What's the difference?"
Francis crossed his legs, leaned against the back of the chair, crossed his legs, and said casually, "Because you missed a detail. Look at the bottle. Isn't there an additional portrait on the bottle than yours?"
Mabel carefully checked the two bottles. Sure enough, the one at Mary's house had an extra portrait on it.
She found it funny. Fake wine was fake. They were too careless when making it. They didn't make it exactly the same.
But what Francis said next surprised Mabel and made her confused.
"This is the portrait of Andre Benoit, a legendary world-class master winemaker." Francis's slender and good-looking fingers lightly tapped twice in the direction of the wine bottle.
Mabel's face was full of confusion. "Belland, I don't understand what you mean."
A hint of contempt flashed in Francis's eyes, but he was not stingy with his explanation, "Andre Benoit, a legendary wine master. He has a principle. He only brews a fixed amount of red wine every year. The wine bottles that he personally brews will have his portrait on them. Due to the incomparable quality and the extremely rare quantity, each bottle can be auctioned off at a sky-high price."
Although the wine that Mabel brought was produced by the same winery, it was not personally brewed by the master. Its value could not be compared at all.
Mabel gave a strange smile. "Are you saying that this wine is more expensive?"
Francis tilted his head, and the delicate and handsome outline on his face looked even better.
He said, "Although it's not the best wine, it's already very difficult to see a wine of this level on the market. There was an auction three years ago, and the price was 30,000 US dollars."

Mabel burst out laughing. She looked at Mary with a smile. "Belland really surprised me. Did you know that this bottle of red wine from your wine cabinet is worth 30,000 US dollars?"
Mary stared at Francis speechlessly. It seemed that this guy was having a relapse -- the kind of disease where he often imagined himself to be rich.
Mabel carefully looked at Belland's wine cabinet and said with an exaggerated expression, "Look, there's also the red wine from Bertrand Winery. This is one of the most expensive red wines in the world. Oh! There's also the work of top wine master Romani!"
"Hey, this bottle is Lipeng Winery's Black Cherry flavor! Did you know, Mary? Lipeng winery is one of the three most expensive wine brands in the world. Your wine cabinet is enough to support a large-scale red wine expo."
In order to become a socialite mingling in the upper class, Mabel had done a lot of research on red wine.
She said these words because she was angry with Francis's attitude just now, so Mabel was mocking Mary.
At the same time, she was mocking 'Belland'.
Mary forced a smile. "Come on Mabel, don't mock me. I've already told you, these are all fake wine that Belland bought to decorate the wine cabinet. It's really just fake wine."
Francis tilted his head, feeling a little amused.
On the first day of his stay, Mary had even served him that unknown bottle of red wine, thinking that it was really good wine.

War of Seasons
Dorothea Atlin is the young, apathetic leader of the neutral territory of Sirpo, a chilly land hovering above the continuously warring factions of Sacer and Ghuria, whose devastating magics have ravaged their people and lands time and time again. Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Her growing understanding of war and the two factions is guided by Iree Nobelis, the determined and enthralling commander of Sacer’s forces, Ariana Kingfisher, a steely swordswoman of mixed Ghurian and Sacerian descent, and Rhys Tamlin, a kind but haunted soldier who goes to challenge Dorothea’s self-imposed celibacy and join her on a mutual journey of healing from the tragic legacies of the Atlin family and wars between the nations. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost.
