College Construction: My Principal System Chapter 13

While Fang Yuan and Li Sang-ho were talking at the entrance of Yun Ding High School.
He Yang, the new Dean of the nearby Experimental High School, happened to pass by.
When He Yang left Yun Ding High School with a few key teachers, he thought that the private school would close down.
But he never expected THIS. Not only did they not go out of business, but they were doing better and better.
It also became a popular High School on Douyin, known to students all over the country.
He thought it was flamboyant.
He checked the search results to see other people's dormitory conditions, other people's salary and their treatment of staff.
To know what this "Other People's School" was.
Yun Ding High School under the leadership of Fang Yuan, soon established a sound performance bonus mechanism.
Many new teachers were now a level higher than him, an old man who had worked in teaching for decades.
He was envious and regretful at the same time.
At the door, he could hear the intermittent conversation between Fang Yuan and the students.
Principal Fang Yuan... was he trying to persuade the students not to study and to play games?
To turn a good student into an internet addict?
Wasn't this ruining the student's bright future?
If the parents knew, what would the parents think? If the education authorities knew...!
His eyes rolled.
He thought of a brilliant trick.
He Yang decided to contact Jingcheng's local authority on education media to report on the strange situation at Yun Ding High School.
He even helped the reporter think of the title of the article
It was called "The Internet celebrity High School is unreliable; the principal is confused and sends the lost students on the road of no return.".
Wonderful. Wonderful.
He Yang rubbed the little hair he had left on his forehead and returned to his school happily.

Next, he just needed to strictly manage his school.
And then quietly wait for the matter of Yun Ding High School to ferment.
...
At the same time, Fang Yuan was not idle on the way back to his dormitory.
More students came to the tree-lined path.
The special interest clubs lined up along the path and formed a beautiful picture.
The students saw the principal taking the initiative to guide the students into a club, and it was an e-sports club.
They also put down their deep fear of the principal.
The braver students even ran to the principal and asked him about their direction of development.
Fang Yuan activated his [Eye of insight] again and again.
It didn't consume anything anyway.
It was the school's duty to let the students find their talents and specialties.
"If you like sports but don't like ball games, why don't you try swimming?"
"Your expression is very clear. The speech club or the talk show club might be suitable for you."
"Choose Go. You will play your own godly hand!"
"What's there to be embarrassed about if you like to keep pets? You can join the Cute Pet Club. However, when walking cats and dogs, you must pay attention to the environmental hygiene of the campus. You must take the initiative to clean up the pet poop. If the dormitory students don't agree, you have to respect their opinions."
"Football? You have to persevere. The hope of Chinese football is at your feet."
"You're a boy, but you are scared of joining the Yoga Club? What's The big deal? Just attend!"
"Do you have a lot of stories to express? That's normal. Try the online novel club or the screenplay club."
Answering the students' many questions, Fang Yuan talked cheerfully and answered them smoothly.
Many young people thought that adults did not understand.
There was no obstacle in chatting with Fang Yuan.

The feeling he gave people was that he was not like a high and mighty principal, but more like an old friend who was a few years older than him.
Everyone chatted happily and returned satisfied.
...
[Ding. Congratulations to the host for completing the mission: Interest Club.]

[Obtained 1,000,000 reputation points. Current reputation balance is 1,100,000 reputation points.]
[The reputation shop has been unlocked.]
Fang Yuan chose to open the shop.
Compared to before, when he could only obtain rewards by completing missions, he could now take the initiative to exchange points for some items.
[Yun Ding University Main Campus: 100,000,000 Reputation Points.]
[Yun Ding Primary School Main Campus: 100,000,000 Reputation Points.]

[Yun Ding High School Aerospace Research Institute: 100 million Reputation Points.]
[Yun Ding High School Life Science Research Institute: 100 million Reputation Points.]
[Yun Ding High School Artificial Intelligence Research Institute: 100 million Reputation Points.]
...
The buildings in front of him that could be exchanged were very extravagant.
Fang Yuan was dazzled by them, but they were a little too expensive.
But it was understandable.
This was more of a long-term plan, and it was also in line with Fang Yuan's plans.
High School was a stage where the upper and the lower schools were connected.
Higher Education required more advanced research, and basic education also needed an endless supply of fresh talent.
After all, what did they say? Education had to start from infancy.
When Yun Ding High School was fully developed and perfected in all aspects, then Fang Yuan could set up a university, a primary school, and even a kindergarten.
But when he looked up at the starry sky, he still needed to be grounded.
First, he needed to exchange points for something that he could currently afford.
[Yun Ding High School Museum: 10 million reputation points.]
[Yun Ding High School Art Gallery: 10 million reputation points.]
[Yun Ding High School concert hall: 10 million reputation points.]
[Yun Ding High School Zoo: 10 million reputation points.]
[Yun Ding High School Botanical Garden: 10 million reputation points.]

[Yun Ding High School Table Tennis Court: 10 million reputation points.]
[Yun Ding High School Golf Course: 10 million reputation points.]
[Cloud Top Racetrack: 10 million reputation points]
...
'You know what? I'm gonna skip these, too.' He thought.
"System, only query 1.1 million reputation points within the redeemable items."
Fang Yuan immediately narrowed down the selection range.
Then, among all the options, he chose the [Yun Ding High School Basic Science Laboratory] that was worth 1,000,000 reputation points.
And the [Yun Ding High School e-sports Center] that was worth 100,000 reputation points.
[1,100,000 reputation points spent.]
[Exchange successful!]

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
