Kuzan Feng grimaced. If he pushed the issue too hard, the Skywings might turn hostile. After all, the Skywings were infamous for their unreasonableness. However, it was not as if he could not intervene, for numerous eyes up high were watching him.

As he hesitated, Busey returned from putting Qin Huang in a cell.

Kuzan Feng sternly said, "Master Guli, there are several old affairs that your cooperation is sought. Will you go?"

Guli stood up and replied, "I will do as requested."

Kuzan Feng nodded. He was already speaking very politely. The God Race had wanted Kuzan Feng to arrest Guli, but out of respect for the Skywings, Kuzan Feng had not done that.

Suddenly, Skywing Patriarch Xia Buyun ordered, "Grandpa Wu, please sit down. No one can take away one of the Skywings, not even the Dragon Ascension's Feng family!"

A fire erupted in Kuzan Feng's chest as he shouted, "Brother Buyun, I am only requesting his cooperation with an investigation. When did I imply that I would be making trouble for the Skywings?!"

Xia Buyun coldly snorted. "If there's anything that's needed to be said, it can be said here. Grandpa Wu is a part of the Skywings; even if I were to agree, the grand ancestor would certainly not permit anyone from taking away a member of our clan!"

Xia Buyun was truly stubborn, and he was even openly defying Kuzan Feng. It was as if he did not care that he was up against a Superior Law Overlord, who was far more powerful than he was!
