As the dust gradually settled, Ulcen could finally make out Xia Fei's face.

He looked the same as before; his aura was the only thing different about him!

He had experienced a qualitative leap from his ascension to Law Emperor. He was like a powerhouse who radiated confidence and ease all over!

'Sure enough, Xia Fei has already been promoted to a Law Emperor just when I arrived! His combat strength should be much more powerful than before, too, I'll bet,' Ulcen Ward thought to himself.

"Old man, you're a Law Overlord, and dying by your hands will be my honor, but you ought to tell me who I'm going to die to, right? I won't be able to rest in peace if a distinguished Law Overlord like yourself remains incognito going up against an insignificant person like myself."

Ulcen Ward froze. He did not care about his Law Overlord status, but he had suddenly recalled the mysterious and disruptive law power that Xia Fei possessed, able to subvert other's law powers. If he could get Xia Fei to tell him the truth behind it before he died, it would be of great help to the Moonward Clan, and he could even curry favor with the old monsters in the God Territory, maybe even making up for his mistake.

'There's no time left! I must act now,' Ulcen Ward said to himself.

Sail Ward was Ulcen Ward's trusted aide. The former would immediately send a message to notify the latter of any actions being taken, giving him enough time to do what needed to be done. Ulcen Ward figured that, given his level 2 Law Overlord cultivation, killing off Xia Fei should be as simple as swatting a fly, which was why he boldly listened to Xia Fei's story the last few minutes.
