Chapter 572: The Celestial Zerohammer
The giant hammer floated in the air. It had to weigh ten thousand tons and was completely black.
Xia Fei did not know how this hammer was hanging in the air, nor did he know when it would come down. It was hard to imagine what sort of damage such a strange and heavy hammer would do if it was swung down.
Frowning, Xia Fei took two steps back, avoiding the suffocating pressure the hammer was emanating.
Lionheart Emperor Oro seemed very excited, his voice trembling. “The Celestial Zerohammer! It’s the Celestial Zerohammer! I didn’t think that someone would actually be able to complete it!”
Xia Fei did not get what was going on. He raised his wrist and glanced at it. There were still three hours and fifty-seven minutes left until the Three Stars Escorting the Moon phenomenon ended. Before this, he would have to return to the dungeon, or else he would be imprisoned in the hidden dimension for the rest of his time.
“Zero is a dividing line, the separation between good and evil, between chaos and order. This hammer is called the Celestial Zerohammer, and when it falls, all things will return to primal chaos.”
Xia Fei asked in confusion, “Could you make it simpler? Why is it that I can’t understand what you’re saying?”
Oro heartily laughed. “Weren’t you searching for a treasure? This is it!”
Xia Fei shook his head and regretfully said, “Such a large hammer, I can’t even move it, let alone take it with me. Even though it’s a supreme treasure, it’s still useless.”
Oro mysteriously said, “Who said I was telling you to take the hammer? You’ve got quite the appetite.
“Above Artificers are Great Artificers, and above Great Artificers are Celestial Artificers and Divine Artificers. Of course, Divine Artificer is a term used by the God Race. We of the Demon Race call the best artificers as Demon Artificers.
“The divine weapons of the circle, excluding natural weapons like Peacock Blue, mostly come from those artisans. The Celestial Zerohammer’s creator is most likely an extremely high-ranking Celestial Artificer.
“The hammer and anvil you see are just forms, but its true meaning is in law infusion!”
“Law infusion!” Xia Fei was stunned. Law weapons were created by pouring law energy into ordinary weapons. What sort of law had this giant hammer been imbued with?
“You’re saying that I can place any weapon on the anvil, and by having the Celestial Zerohammer swing down, I can infuse law energy into the weapon?” Xia Fei asked.
Oro smiled. “That’s right. Your mind works rather quickly. It seems that the owner of the castle is a Celestial Artificer, and in this hidden dimension, they constructed for themselves the strongest law infusion tool they could make, the Celestial Zerohammer.
“However, for some reason, that artificer made the Celestial Zerohammer and didn’t use it, leaving you to discover it. As long as you place a weapon there, even an ordinary weapon, and then activate the Celestial Zerohammer, you can possess a top-class law weapon!”

Xia Fei could not help but be tempted. ‘So this big fellow is a platform for crafting law weapons, capable of infusing law energy into them?!’
Stroking a finger across his spatial ring, Xia Fei took out all his weapons. Even the small knife he used for eating and the metal plate he used for holding food.
Oro frowned and said, “What are you doing?”
Xia Fei’s eyes flashed as he excitedly said, “Of course, I’m going to make them all into law weapons. Once I sell them all, I’ll be rich!”
Oro did not even know what to say to this, muttering, “Even trying to make a plate into a law weapon? Is there anyone as greedy as you?”
“What’s wrong with a plate? Once it’s infused with law energy, it can be a killer plate,” Xia Fei nonchalantly said. Taking out a plier and some screws from his ring and muttering, “Law pliers, law screws and nails, a law wrench… With so many law-imbued weapons, I’ll get rich even if I don’t want to!”
Phantom loudly laughed. “A law screw?! Xia Fei, that’s just a little too fantastical, isn’t it? How would you use a screw to kill someone?”
Xia Fei ignored Oro and Phantom. This was a rare opportunity. If he did not make all the metal objects he had on hand into law weapons, he would never be able to rest.
Oro laughed so much that his stomach hurt. Between his laughter, he said, “Don’t waste your time. The Celestial Zerohammer can only be used once. Once it’s used, it will disappear.”
Xia Fei froze, creasing his brows as he asked, “Such a big hammer can only be used once? That’s too much, isn’t it?”
“What did you think?” Oro rolled his eyes. “The Zerohammer is the highest-ranking law infusion at the Celestial Artificer level! If it could be used without limit, you would find divine weapons everywhere you looked!”
Xia Fei sighed. Oro’s words made sense. The law weapons being sold in Foundry City had been unreasonably expensive—a sign that creating law weapons was no easy task. That which was rare was expensive.
However, Xia Fei found it hard to choose which weapon should be infused with law energy.
In his left hand was October Flying Snow and in his right was the Blood Crystal. Xia Fei hesitated, wondering which one was better.
Oro looked over and commented, “These weapons have pretty good bases, and when the hammer falls, they should be turned into excellent law-imbued weapons. Although I don’t know what sort of law the Celestial Zerohammer has been infused with, given how much energy was put into making it, it must be a good law. Just choose one.”
Xia Fei shook his head, sternly saying, “For weapons, quantity isn’t important. What matters is quality and special attributes. I don’t like weapons without any special attributes. Since this Celestial Zerohammer is so wondrous, I must use it to make a weapon that’s not just sharp but also possesses an extremely unique attribute.

Putting October Flying Snow back in the ring, Xia Fei was left with the Blood Crystal. There was no doubt that among all of Xia Fei’s current weapons, the Blood Crystal was the most special. This bloodthirsty dagger was sinister and crafty, its ability to suck the blood of its foes terrifying enough. Once the Zerohammer fell and infused it with law energy, it was impossible to say how strong this dagger would become.
“This is the one. I’ll use the Blood Crystal as the base to be infused with law energy,” Xia Fei sternly said.
Oro squinted and smiled. “This dagger can absorb blood. It’s already crazy enough. You still want more?”
“It’s far from enough. There’s no such thing as the craziest weapon—only a matter of which is crazier,” Xia Fei calmly said.
Phantom said, “The Blood Crystal was left behind by the ancestor of the Assassin Sect, Slaughtershadow. How could you just casually modify it?”
Xia Fei brusquely said, “What ancestor? It’s in my hands, so it’s naturally mine.”
Phantom was speechless. In truth, he was also curious to see what would happen to the Blood Crystal after it was infused with law by the Zerohammer. However, out of respect for his ancestor, Phantom did not want to see the Blood Crystal changing more and more.
Sighing, Phantom silently accepted Xia Fei’s decision. Besides, opposition was pointless. Xia Fei was unreasonable and domineering, and once he made up his mind, no one could change it.
“Let’s go and see if we can find a blood offering,” Oro sternly said.
“A blood offering?”
“The Zerohammer doesn’t just need a weapon to serve as a basis. It also needs a powerful creature to serve as a primer. That celestial artificer has been raising those Soul-stealing Germs so that he can use them to activate the Zerohammer. You killed them all already, so we must find a new blood offering.
“There’s not much time. Let’s take a look around this hidden dimension and see if there’s any creature that can be used as a primer. If not, we won’t be able to use the Celestial Zerohammer.”
…
There was not much time for Xia Fei to think about it. He could trust in Oro’s words that the Celestial Zerohammer needed a lifeform to serve as a primer.
Xia Fei quickly began to explore this hidden dimension.
In the distance was a mountain with a metallic luster, brightening and dimming. As he got close, he realized that it was a large pile of metal in various colors.
“These are the metals that were probably used to build the Zerohammer. That flashing silver metal is Pure Spirit Silver. One kilogram costs the same as one grade 3 Origin Crystal. Artificers love it,” Oro said.
Xia Fei was surprised to hear that. He picked up a piece of Pure Spirit Silver and weighed it in its hand. While it was only about the size of a fist, it weighed several dozen kilograms!
“A small piece like this is worth several dozen grade 3 Origin Crystals!?” Xia Fei was amazed.
Since it was worth money, Xia Fei naturally would not let it be. He immediately began to put all the Pure Spirit Silver on this mountain of metal into his ring.
Xia Fei moved very quickly, and in just half an hour, he had finished gathering this precious metal.
“About seventy tons, the equivalent of seventy thousand grade 3 crystals!” Xia Fei excitedly said. Xia Fei had spent about three thousand crystals for the Star River Dipper Motion Formation and also seven grade 4 crystals. These Pure Spirit Silvers alone were enough to recover all of Xia Fei’s losses and even make a large profit!
“Only three hours and eight minutes left; after which, we must go back. Let’s hurry and search this space,” Oro sternly said.
Xia Fei nodded. The Three Stars Escorting the Moon phenomenon had expanded the entrance to this dimension. If he did not go back before the phenomenon ended, Xia Fei would be imprisoned here forever. This was not a result that he could accept.
After another half hour, Xia Fei returned to the Celestial Zerohammer, looking somewhat dejected.
Xia Fei killed all of the Soul-stealing Germs raised as primers, and that Fiend’s Bloodcry had all but disappeared. There were no other lifeforms in this hidden dimension!
Xia Fei only had Furball as a lifeform at his side. What sort of weapon could be made from using a holy beast as a primer? Xia Fei had not considered it, and he would not do such a thing, even if he had to give up.
“There’s only one method left,” Oro sternly said. “You still have that egg, right? That’s the offspring of the Empress Ice Spider and the Pastel Ice Spider. Though it’s just an egg, it can still be considered a lifeform, and a very formidable one at that, with an extremely high rank. It will definitely serve well as a primer!”
Surprised, Xia Fei took out the Ice Spider egg from his ring. The offspring of two Beast Kings naturally had a high rank, and Xia Fei was originally planning to sell it for a Spatial Compass. However, using it to forge a weapon was not out of the question.
With a grim look, Lionheart Emperor Oro sternly said, “You must understand that the celestial artisan who made this Zerohammer belonged to the God Race, though. Your Blood Crystal has a strange background and doesn’t belong to any race. Also, what you’re using as a primer is a Demon Race lifeform. We don’t know what sort of law the Zerohammer will infuse, either.
“Since the owner of the castle chose to build the Zerohammer in this hidden dimension, the hammer must contain some secret that they didn’t want others to know, perhaps even a forbidden law.
“Once the Celestial Zerohammer comes down, it will bring together these unrelated, strange, and mysterious weapons, lifeform, and law together. It’s impossible to say what the ultimate result will be!”
“It’s impossible to predict the result?!” Xia Fei was stunned. Looking down, he saw that the time to closing was only two hours and twenty-five minutes away. He must make a decision soon!
