Chapter 570: Star River Dipper Motion
“Is it me, or is the sound somewhat different from a few days ago…” Lionheart Emperor Oro sternly said.

Before Xia Fei could ask, Oro pointed to the sky and said, “Look, three bright stars orbit around the full moon, forming a triangle. Those stars keep shifting between bright and dim. That’s what astrologists call Three Stars Escorting the Moon!
“The three stars are flickering because the moon is absorbing all of their power, which is ultimately being used on this planet, on this very swamp!
“A night like this is horrifying. All sorts of natural phenomena that science can’t explain will occur under this sort of celestial happening!”
Oro was very excited, but Xia Fei was confused. After thinking for a few minutes, he asked, “Why does it seem like you know a lot about this supernatural phenomenon?”
Oro heartily laughed. “You’re from the Lower Realm, so you don’t understand that the more time one spends in the Law Realm, the less one relies on science. This is because there are far too many supernatural phenomena in this region of space that science can’t explain. The longer you live here, the more you’ll understand that science isn’t everything, nor will it always be able to provide an explanation.”

Xia Fei nodded. He had long ago understood this principle. Science, just like cultivation, had a terminus. For example, if a scientist wanted to use science to explain the mysterious seventh brain region, no matter how smart they were or how they excelled in their profession, they would ultimately die unsatisfied. “Correct.” Oro suddenly became very solemn. “Xia Fei, this is an opportunity. Do you want to solve the riddle of the Fiend’s Bloodcry?”
Xia Fei was startled. “Of course. This sort of strange howling is terrifying to listen to. I’d love to see this riddle solved.”
“Then are you willing to take a risk?” Oro stared at Xia Fei and asked. “You had best make your decision soon, for there’s only six hours and twelve minutes left. Once the phenomenon ends, we will lose this chance.”
Xia Fei only used five seconds to reach his decision.
“Alright, let’s solve this age-old riddle!”

Xia Fei locked the door and then began to make arrangements as Lionheart Emperor Oro indicated.
*Pa pa pa!*
Xia Fei pushed Origin Crystals into the wall like he was laying down a formation, though this formation’s components were incredibly expensive.
“This dungeon must contain a hidden dimension, and the one who built this hidden dimension must be a great expert, having managed to hide it for tens of thousands of years. Alas, today, he ran into me, Lionheart Emperor Oro!” Oro proudly proclaimed. “Trying to mess around with formations versus me? Don’t you know who I am?”
Perhaps because he had been imprisoned for too long, Oro easily got excited as long as he had something to do. Loneliness was a poison, and frantic work was the only cure.
“You’re sure this formation will work?” Xia Fei asked.
He had used several thousand grade 3 Origin Crystals to set up this formation, and Xia Fei did not have a very healthy stockpile. Failure would be a heavy blow, perhaps even lead to bankruptcy!
“This is the Star River Dipper Motion Formation, an observation formation of the Demon Race. This dungeon was soon much brighter, lit up by the several thousand Origin Crystals.
In the center were seven grade 4 Origin Crystals arranged in a circle. The Demon Race’s Star River Dipper Motion Formation was complete!
Oro carefully inspected the formation and excitedly said, “Very good. The layout was done perfectly. Now, we need to see how you do.”

Xia Fei nodded, squatted, and placed a hand in the center of the circle of the seven grade 4 Origin Crystals.
Energy poured out of his palm, and before his hand even touched the floor, Xia Fei could feel enormous energy enclosing his hand like a basin of warm water!
“Such a miraculous formation! All of the energy in the area is being guided here. This sensation is far too strange!” Xia Fei exclaimed in shock.
Lionheart Emperor Oro laughed. “This is nothing at all. Once you get the Star River Dipper Motion Formation working, you’ll be even more amazed.
“Come on. Do as I do!”
Xia Fei sensed this sea of energy and then began to control it.
“The key to the activation of the Star River Dipper Motion Formation lies in its operation. In order to perceive this dimension, you need to operate the formation at high speeds. Close your eyes and feel it out.”
As Xia Fei closed his eyes, the coordinates and form of the prison entered his mind, taking the form of strange lines and images.
Threads of energy formed themselves into the dungeon in Xia Fei’s mind, realizing every grain of dust on the floor and even the ants in the corner!
“You should be able to see the shape of the dungeon in your mind. It should be very detailed, far more detailed than what you can see with your eyes.”
Xia Fei nodded. “Correct. I can even see the impurity in each slab of stone.”
“Heh, that’s the effect of the formation, as if you’re using a telescope. You’ll be able to detect all the details of anything with the formation. Now, try to turn the formation. “Faster faster! It’s still not fast enough!”
Oro was excited as could be, constantly encouraging Xia Fei!
Gradually, the veins at Xia Fei’s face, neck, and hands began to bulge, causing his appearance to turn savage.

Though Oro was constantly urging Xia Fei, he was inwardly astonished. It must be understood that this was an observation formation of the Demon Race. Control of Origin Energy was a very mysterious and heaven-defying ability. Xia Fei was only a Law Sovereign, yet he could already display such outstanding control over energy. Even Great Demon Emperor Oro was alarmed!
Xia Fei was not merely operating the observation formation but was also making it turn faster and faster!
“It’s still not fast enough!
“Watch carefully. The spatial node will be a purple light source, and it’ll become more and more obvious as the formation spins faster and faster. You must find it! You must!”
Xia Fei let out a low growl. He was clearly using all his energy to drive the formation.
His body was like a frenzied high-speed electric generator. As the energy passed through his body, it picked up speed, and large amounts of Origin Energy gushed out of his body.
“Purple! I see the purple node of light! It’s flashing in and out, at the edge of the third cell!” Xia Fei cried.
Lionheart Emperor Oro was stunned, and then he called, “Maintain speed. This is an important step. Using the tearing force of the Star River Dipper Motion Formation, tear open that node!
“Hang in there! Accelerate! There are only five hours and forty-nine minutes until the Three Stars Escorting the Moon phenomenon ends! This is our only chance!”
