Super Gene Optimization Fluid Chapter 506

Chapter 506: The war god reborn!
Within the room, a peculiar scene unfolded!
The White Origin Energy circulated around Xia Fei’s body as he absorbed the crystal’s energy with his right hand and directed it out to the Blood Demon Claw with his left hand.
The little robot Pod had a towel and tea ready by the side, and the moment Xia Fei felt slightly tired, he would immediately rush over and provide relief. Furball had buried his head into his bed covers, doing his best not to look at Xia Fei. Having so much purified Origin Energy was a huge temptation to him. The Purple Hearts of Spirit that he often ate were like corn and millet, nothing more than coarse grains, while the purified Origin Energy was not as violent, so it was like a warm soak in a hot spring, practically a fine grain high in protein.
After being used to eating coarse grain, the taste of fine grain enraptured Furball, but the hateful Xia Fei had given all the precious Origin Energy to the plant, and that made him feel disgruntled and indignant.
The rate at which Xia Fei released Origin Energy was not quick, but it was an unceasing stream of energy.
He controlled the energy to ensure that it was at the range which the Blood Demon Claw could absorb, and a white mist of energy enshrouded the insides of its crystal incubator, making this peculiar-looking plant appear illusory.
Like a demon’s palm, the Blood Demon Claw was crimson red. It was as if it had just grasped on an enemy’s heart as thick blood flowed freely.
All of a sudden, Xia Fei noticed that a small portion of the Blood Demon Claw had begun to turn green instead of turning red. It seemed about to start its ninth regression.
“Oh, no! Looks like the Blood Demon Claw is still regressing and starting the ninth cycle!” Phantom anxiously yelped.
Xia Fei smiled. “Let it regress. Yours truly don’t believe that this will fail. A single unpurified grade 3 raw ore was enough to make it regress seven times, so now that I have three purified grade 3 crystals to feed it, how can it not mature and blossom?
“The more it regresses, the greater the medicinal efficacy, and that’s precisely what I want.”
His mind was made up. This batch of raw ore could be considered the last of his funds. In the Law Realm, money was useless, and Xia Fei could only depend on these ores. The Hearts of Spirit were not just Furball’s food but also important supplements for his cultivation. Every piece was precious, and Xia Fei took out a good half of his stock just to accelerate the ripening of the Blood Demon Claw—an act which took quite a lot of determination to go through.
If met with failure, then it should be seen as a sacrifice!
Since this was a place that respected strength, Xia Fei decided that he would gain even greater strength at the cost of ignoring all else!
Gradually, Xia Fei increased his energy output; to which, Phantom commented with knitted eyebrows, “The purified energy is more suitable for absorption, and the effect it has in accelerating the ripening process is even greater, too, but it seems that the Blood Demon Claw is liking this energy too much and has become more gluttonous, so the amount of energy required after each regression increases as well.”

Xia Fei was silent. He had already noticed this phenomenon as the amount of energy he had to direct toward the Blood Demon Claw was always more than how much it was before. There was no telling how much energy he would have to expend for this ninth time.
An hour later, the grade 3 Origin Crystal in his hand slowly dimmed, and now it contained just a third of its energy.
The Blood Demon Claw turned red for the ninth time, and its color was much more resplendent and vivid this time!
“It’s blooming! BLOOMING!” Phantom was so excited that he practically bounced! “After nine regressions, the Blood Demon Claw is finally about to blossom!
“Xia Fei, your hard work has paid off! After absorbing so much Origin Energy, the Blood Demon Claw is finally really in its mature stage!”
Xia Fei was evidently very excited as well. A yellow trumpet flower emerged. It was only a mere bud at first, but it slowly bloomed, assaulting his senses with a mellow yet sweet scent!
“Master, this is such a unique smell! My systems can’t determine this odor composition at all.” Though Pod did not have a human’s nose, he still possessed a bionic olfactory system, and the profile of this scent did not match the millions of odor compositions recorded within. As such, Pod was completely astounded by this.
Furball poked his head out from under the covers, sniffing at the pleasant smell in the air before resuming its sleep. This pet truly had a singular temperament, not at all bothered even if the sky fell on its head.
“There’s a second flower!”
“And that’s a third!”
Nine little yellow flowers sprouted, and the scent in the room became even more potent and refreshing.
Soon the nine yellow flowers turned from yellow to red before ultimately settling in on the vividness of blood.
The Blood Demon Claw looked like a palm, and when the nine flowers sprouted, this palm slowly roused, as if there was something about to burst out!
“Your Origin Crystal is out of energy. Quickly swap out for another!” Phantom loudly reminded Xia Fei.
Xia Fei, who had only been so enraptured in watching the Blood Demon Claw transform, actually forgot to observe the flow of energy from the crystal. He had no idea when that first Origin Crystal had been drained of its energy.
Xia Fei hurriedly tossed the transparent crystal on the table and swapped it for a brand-new one.
The white energy continued to flow into the crystal incubator, and the halted growth of the Blood Demon Claw began anew.
That circular object in the palm seemed to be struggling, wanting to break out from that which contained it. It attempted this several times, and it was met with failure each time.
Xia Fei clearly knew that this was the fruit of the Blood Demon Claw after nine regressions, and it was his only hope to repair his seventh brain region!
Nervous, Xia Fei increased the energy output!
Finally, the scene that everyone had been waiting for occurred. The Blood Demon Claw’s fruit broke through the outer shell and was out of its cocoon!
The fruit was nothing too large, looking like a green cherry, but as more Origin Energy was fed to it, the fruit slowly grew from the size of a cherry to that of a peach. This all happened in the span of half an hour, and it was simply an astonishing miracle to behold!

Besides his surprise, Xia Fei was even more amazed by the incredibility of Origin Energy. This wondrous ore, which contained cosmic energy, was like the water from Our Lady of Springs, nourishing every life in this universe.
However, spots slowly grew on the fruit, and Xia Fei could not help but feel uneasy about it.
Phantom’s mouth hung agape, seemingly having received a tremendous shock at the sight of the little spots.
“XIA FEI, YOU HIT THE JACKPOT!”
Xia Fei, who was concentrating on transferring energy to the Blood Demon Claw, did not answer him, though he was very much puzzled by the statement.
“Do you know what these spots mean?”
“What?”
“A spotted Blood Demon Claw is the ultimate mutation of the plant!”
“Ultimate mutation!” Xia Fei could not help but feel skeptical hearing it. His Blood Demon Claw was already acknowledged to be a mutation, so why was there suddenly this ultimate state?
“Life came to be via genetic mutation. Initially, our ancestors were no more than simple single-cell organisms, and over the long history of biological evolution, various mutations had ultimately gifted us intellect, becoming a lifeform that is very different from what we were originally. Plants are the same.
“I finally understand why this Blood Demon Claw was so hard to grow. It turns out that it underwent the ultimate mutation! I read about this mutation in Sophie’s database, and it’s presently considered to be the greatest mutation state of a Blood Demon Claw!”
Xia Fei did not really care about Phantom’s explanation about this ultimate mutation, but he vaguely sensed that events had not gone according to what he had originally expected and that there was yet another change again.
This was because the Blood Demon Claw had stopped absorbing the Origin Energy, all the energy was now being directly absorbed by that fruit, and its speed was at least three times that of before!
“”We need to hasten the ripening of this fruit no matter what’s the cost!” Phantom shouted animatedly.
…
Like all plants, the Blood Demon Claw had used all its lifeforce to blossom a crimson red fruit and ultimately wilted.
Beside Xia Fei were three transparent crystals; he had spent a lot on this accelerated ripening of the Blood Demon Claw.
Furball greedily licked the now empty crystals on the table, hoping to find any trace of energy, but unfortunate for him, these crystals were all bone dry, so he was very disappointed to find nothing.
Xia Fei lightly stroked Furball’s head and said, “There’s no hurry. You’ll have everything soon. I’ll definitely let you eat your fill one day.”
Furball happily licked Xia Fei’s finger. Xia Fei had fulfilled each of his promises before so he felt that it would be the same this time, too.
“This fruit’s so pretty.” Pod offered a cup of tea to Xia Fei as it cheerfully asked, “Master, are you going to eat it?”
Xia Fei looked at Phantom. Now that the ripening was done, how best to ingest this would depend on Phantom’s decision. He was the pharmacology expert among them, after all.
Phantom was silent for a good while before he asked, “Wanna do something crazy?”
“Crazy?”
“The fruit of the Blood Demon Claw is truly too precious, and no matter what sort of refining process is applied to it, there will be loss. That’s unless you treat your body as the cauldron and swallow it, letting it refine and absorb within your body slowly.
“However, there’s a bit of risk in doing so. If your control is lacking, the effect will instead be worse than using equipment to purify it first. I, too, initially felt that we ought to deal with this in a more measured and safe method, but seeing your fine control of the Origin Energy, I changed my mind. If you can manipulate the energy so well, you should be able to do the same with medicinal power.”
Xia Fei laughed uproariously after hearing Phantom. “The one thing I hate the most in this life is wasting anything, and I’m most unafraid of bearing risk. The bigger the risk, the greater the reward. Come, let’s try this crazy method of using my body to refine it.”
Phantom nodded. He already knew that Xia Fei would agree, for this person was someone who was crazy to his very bones!
Swallow!
The fruit of the Blood Demon Claw got delivered straight into Xia Fei’s stomach, and in the next second, that fruit which was as red as fresh blood began melting. It was as if there were countless tadpoles aimlessly swimming about within Xia Fei’s body.
Xia Fei then did what he had done when directing energy and drew the medicine right over to his seventh brain region. Perhaps because the Blood Demon Claw he had just ingested contained his aura, but the medicinal power of the fruit very quickly adapted to him, abiding by his will without putting up any resistance whatsoever.
There was no way to control normal medicine, and in the past, Xia Fei would have to experience excruciating pain whenever he promoted using drugs each time. This was actually the first time he felt like he was resonating with the medicine and that its medicinal power was regulating according to his wishes.
*Boom!*
A momentary dizziness came to him as too much medicinal power went into Xia Fei’s seventh brain region. It rapidly went to the dead cells which were on the edges of that brain region.
Innumerable cells were soaked in this medicine and were reborn, slowly coming back to life!
The seventh brain region was originally a fortress, and when Xia Fei first consumed the gene optimization fluid, its powerful medicinal power was like an explosion that blew up the walls of the fortress, using the most insane method to open his seventh brain region!
Though Xia Fei had attained a 100% open seventh brain region which the common man could hardly achieve, too many of the surrounding cells died as a result of the violent method.
Today, these dead cells were reborn!
The corners of Xia Fei’s mouth curled into a smirk. The indescribably wonderful sensation he was currently feeling intoxicated him with complete self-confidence.
Phantom let out a sigh as the ball, spirit, and robot looked at Xia Fei with great excitement.
Everyone understood that the unforgettable genius from the Alliance was back!
That most insane and most terrifying war god, who would kill anything and everything under the heavens without batting an eyelid, had been reborn!
Unstoppable!
