Spending My Retirement In A Game Chapter 529

Eisen looked at the Wood-Giant standing there, just towering over him and everyone else that was currently watching.
With a broad smile, Eisen pointed at a spot where there weren't too many roots, "Go over there." He commanded, and the Wood-Giant did as asked, just stepping over the roots to make his way to the spot before turning back toward Eisen. Its footsteps were loud and heavy and even pushed a lot of the dirt to the side when its foot hit the ground.
"Holy fucking shit, that's amazing..." Morgus muttered bluntly as he saw the wood-giant, and Eisen just looked down at the black half-dragon and nodded his head, "Of course it is. But that's not all." Eisen pointed out.
"Infuse your body with different elements. Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, Darkness, and light, in that order. But only switch when I tell you to." Eisen exclaimed toward it. And shortly after he did so, the Wood-Giant followed the command as best as it could. The enchantments placed onto its skin started glowing just so slightly, before all of a sudden in the center of its chest, waves started moving outward. The kind that you get when throwing a pebble into water.
More and more of those waves appeared and spread over the Wood-Giant's whole body, and with each wave, its body turned more and more into water.
"Take out your blade." The old man commanded, and the Wood-Giant with its water-body grasped the handle of the blade on its hip. It pulled the blade out swiftly. The blade itself had also been slightly infused with water, since Eisen had given the Wood-Giant the 'Tool-Connection' ability. The blade had turned just so slightly blue, but for the most part, it had still kept its regular shape, color, and substance.
"Next element." The old man commanded it. And as if drying up within a few moments, the water on its body just disappeared and the sword's blue tint disappeared.
But after that, it seemed like its skin simply grew thicker as rocks and dirt gathered on there, cloaking it in a thick layer of rock. This seemed to make it far, far heavier, and the ground even nearly gave in in response to this extra weight.
"Next." Eisen exclaimed next, and the rocks just crumbled off before the wood-giant's body ignited itself. This actually made Eisen a little worried... Sure, Ironbark was incredibly flame-resistant, but that didn't mean that it was completely flame-resistant. It was just a little bit harder to get it to burn. The fact that it wasn't completely resistant to it was shown by Eisen literally turning the leftover scraps of wood from the ship-construction into charcoal.
But it seemed like Eisen's worries were for nothing. Sure, the wood-giant did give off some heat, but it neither burnt the roots around it nor its own wooden body, so the old man was glad that it was working properly.

With the next element, the flames disappeared near-to-instantly and were replaced by strong winds that made light whistling sounds as they travelled around the Wood-Giant's body. The wind picked up a little bit of dust here and there, or some blades of grass, that were now also floating around its body. But for the most part, it was really something that could only be seen when the giant golem was moving around, which it currently wasn't. That would be a test for later, for now, Eisen just wanted to try and make sure that all the elements would properly infuse into the wood-giant's body.
The next element was darkness, and its body basically became a shadow that was given a form. It was just black and purple, and slight smoke or fog kept twirling around its body. It was kind of like that effect of ink or paint inside of water.
Eisen wasn't sure how useful this element in particular would be, since this could really only be used to merge into the darkness of another place for more stealth, but the wood-giant would most likely not be able to be very stealthy anyway.
And then, there was the light element. It was basically the opposite of the darkness element, as one would expect. Although the effect was pretty similar, with white and bright golden mist twirling around its body the whole time. But either way, it was mostly too bright to look at straight anyway. This would probably just be useful to blind enemies, as far as Eisen was concerned.
This whole time, Eisen was nodding his head in satisfaction whenever he saw that everything worked. And this was all just testing it out so that Eisen could maybe still change something if he needed to, since he still hadn't seen this golem as finished. All the enchantments were properly working like they were supposed to, quite obviously, but the Wood-Giant still was incapable of properly making use of its abilities like it was supposed to.
Either way, since everything seemed to work alright, and the golem was capable of following commands properly, the old man crossed his arms and saw everything related to this Wood-Giant as finished.

With a satisfied expression, Eisen waved the information of the wood-giant away so that he could see the rest of the information that was behind it.

Eisen waved these notifications away as well and just opened his quest progress for a bit to see what else needed to be done for the 'Road to 300' quest, and was glad to see that he really just needed to rank up a couple more skills for this, even if they were some of the ones that were the most annoying to properly rank up.
Either way, now that Eisen had a proper helper, he would really be able to get started with this. Eisen looked over toward the wood-giant with a smile on his face, "Put the sword away, we're gonna start working now." Eisen announced with a broad grin, and the Wood-Giant did as told. Immediately after Eisen truly saw the wood-giant as finished, its movements became many, many times smoother than before, and the giant katana ended up in the sheath without any sound.
"Alright, we're going to need all of your guys' help too. Sky, there's a system in the Golem that allows others to basically control the element. I'm going to have the Wood-Giant cloak its body in the Inkheart element, so please stay with the Golem and turn its body into the character from the Lumberjack story you have. The infusion system for the Wood-Giant is similar to how I made the basic control system for the artificial spirits, so I'm pretty sure it should work." Eisen told Sky. He seemed a little bit weird at having to stay with that huge thing, but Eisen reassured him that it was safe and he didn't have to worry too much.
And then, Eisen looked over at the half-dragon knights, "You guys please try and pick up whatever smaller scraps are laying around. Well, only the 'bigger' scraps I guess. The kind of things you would get from a regular tree. Caria, Sal, Melissa, please do the same." Eisen told them, although he specifically turned toward Kiron afterward.
"And later on, I have another job for you too. I want you to use your element to eat up specifically the roots underground that we can't reach." Eisen told Kiron, and the crystal half-dragon slowly nodded his head. He spent a fair amount of time properly trying to practice with his element, and by now, he was able to do a lot of really amazing things with it. For one, he could basically completely exterminate a small forest within an hour or two if he really wanted to, without leaving behind anything like wood or soot, since the flames literally fed on those kinds of materials.
And when he infused it into his body, he not only gained a speed boost, but it was also quite good for defense. It wasn't that his basic defense went up, but the flames would start sticking to whoever just attacked him, meaning that any successful attack also damaged the attacker.
"Of course, grandfather!" Kiron exclaimed, excited to be able to help, although it seemed like one person was slightly disappointed that she wasn't named.
"So I can't do anything?" Bree asked with a slightly sad expression. She hadn't realy felt all that useful over the past few weeks, especially since Eisen didn't really need her to supply mana to him anymore. But Eisen just chuckled and shook his head, "No, no, of course you can do something. I actually need you to come with me when I start taking care of the roots. It's not really an exciting task though, so I hope you're fine with that." Eisen told her, and Bree's expression immediately turned brighter again.
"That's fine! I'll help however I can!" She exclaimed, and Eisen quickly watched as everyone did as he asked them to. The wood-giant's body was now ink-black and its katana had turned into an axe that it was already using to try and chop up the leftover wood that Eisen didn't cut apart yet, while the others were just collecting scraps. And Eisen and Bree made their way to the outskirts of this area to find the place where the roots 'ended'.

The Second Coming of Fate [A High Fantasy Story]
Prologue Arc: The Day That Begins Your Fate - COMPLETED Story Arc 1: Chaos in the Lamorian Kingdom - ONGOING Please consider following/leaving a rating. I plan to turn this into a long lasting series, and it would really mean a whole lot to me. :) ----- Having succumb to amnesia, Galvin one day appears in the Grand Forest east of the capital kingdom Lamora. For the next two months, he lives a perfectly carefree yet boring life until one fateful day changed everything. Encountering all sorts of characters and dealing with all sorts of shenanigans, Galvin begins to experience visions of what appears to be the future. With this newfound power in a world full of magic, yet plagued with war, discrimination, and brutality, will Galvin be able to change fate…or die trying? ----- Do you like stories where the protagonist doesn't start out strong and is deeply character driven (with a LOT of inner monologues)? A story that has its fair share of comedic and dark moments? Well then you've come to the right place! However, if you're looking for LitRPG mechanics, then unfortunately, this story doesn't contain too many of them. The dynamics of the story will be based on real life physics and mechanics (with a bit of magic of course!) Also, I delve deeply into a lot of disturbing topics, so readers do be warned. However, if any of this sounds interesting to you, then please come by and give my story a read. ----- Expect releases as soon as possible (which is like 4 - 10 days). Just know that I'm writing this story as it progresses, so a lot of first drafts are to be expected. :D

Breaking Horizons: Book 1: Snared Origins
Many want to learn things from a story, while others only want fast-paced wonders. We are human and we like to dream, we are alive and we want to feel. Don’t wander outside before knowing the inside. Even if this is slow, it gives you the reader, things to behold. This is a story but also knowledge. It isn’t fast or entertaining but makes you wonder. Everything starts from something unknown, we all want to know the untold. However, can you persevere if something starts being boring? Shouldn’t entertainment start from something unexciting? Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there. Or join a bigger and cooler server where many authors hang out: https://discord.gg/2hbvq8B (Its dungeon engineer and many cool stories' server) This is my own story, so its for me only.
