Spending My Retirement In A Game Chapter 410

With a grin on his face, Eisen moved his fingers through his beard, smiling in satisfaction. It's been a while since he made something that actually counted as an item-set, after all. Item sets required at least five different items to be meant to be used together, so it made sense that this was the case after making this whole outfit.
Slowly nodding his head, Eisen then just moved on toward the next outfit, which would be basically completely the same as the outfit that Eisen just finished, just using a different type of leather, in a different color.
Now that Eisen managed to get into the flow of making shoes again with the first pair that he made, he was able to finish the second pair quite a bit faster than the first one. And so, after a little while, Eisen had already finished the next outfit.
[You created the Item Set ]
Whistling happily, Eisen placed this outfit to the side next to the other one, placing Evalia's Designs on top of them so that he could be completely sure which outfit was supposed to be which.
The next outfit was less leather-based, instead being made completely of cloth, needing actually quite a bit of it, although not that much of it was used to cover up skin.
Similar to before, it had something in the direction of a short pants similar to the hot-pants as well as a shirt that left the belly exposed, although in this version, it seemed to be supposed to be 'cuter'. It was pretty frilly, and the shirt did cover the shoulders up.
The part that needed the most cloth surface-wise was the thin, see-through 'Jacket', even if it couldn't really be called that. It was supposed to be 'like wings', as Evalia explained it. While it would hang down, the bottom of the jacket would be practically weightless and floating around directly behind the wearer. Eisen thought it would end up pretty annoying, but he didn't fight about it too much.
Apparently, the idea that Evalia had behind it was that this outfit was supposed to be for a 'Battle Princess', a very cute outfit that you could wear in and out of combat. It definitely wouldn't offer much resistance, so Eisen maybe had to think about working around that in some form or another.
But in the end, nobody had to buy it if they didn't want to, and Eisen himself knew quite well that there were other ways to fight than just through head-on collisions.
For now, the old man managed to swiftly put all of this together. It wasn't complex, after all. The thing that was most complex about this whole thing was the composition of the cloth itself, which was a mixture of regular thread, crystal thread, and later even mana thread that was woven into everything.
The mana-thread was mixed with crystal thread in a proportion of 2:1 of mana-thread to crystal-thread, and because of the way that everything was made, it seemed like the thread was properly working like Eisen intended it to.
Since mana itself was weightless, the cloth naturally had the properties that Evalia said she wanted it to have, which was similar to how things like cloth or hair floated underwater.

And in order to properly cause the difference between the top and bottom of the cloth without you being able to see any direct stitching wasn't hard to cause either, he simply had to have the weaver use different thread for different sections of the cloth, and everything ended up working out just perfect.
And after Eisen made some simply ballerina-like cloth shoes with solid soles, as well as a small, thin belt to keep your weapon attached to, as well as two thin cloth-gloves, the old man was swiftly met with the notifications that he wanted to see, although there was only one that was of actual importance with this slightly pink-purple outfit.
[You created the Item-Set ]
With a smirk on his face, Eisen swiftly waved the notification away and placed this new outfit to the side as well, before looking at the pile of paper next to him, which he wanted to work through and make each and every one of these outfits at least once, and the different single-piece items multiple times if possible.
And so, that's what Eisen spent the next few hours with, before he was met with some nice notifications that were only about half an hour apart from each other.
[Tailoring reached Level 100 in Rank 3, Upgrading to Rank 4]
[You can now work with Cloths that possess special properties]
[Due to Ranking-up your Tailoring Skill, you gained +1 AGI and +1 END]
[Leatherworking reached Level 100 in Rank 3, Upgrading to Rank 4]
[You can now work with Leathers that possess special properties]
[Due to Ranking-up your Leatherworking Skill, you gained +1 AGI and +1 END]
Just like when his Blacksmithing skill ranked up, Eisen was met with the term 'Special Properties', that he really didn't understand at all.
He figured that especially the leather he's been using up until now would have some with 'Special properties' amongst them, considering how some of the leather ended up having properties like fire-resistance or damage-absorption, the latter of which Eisen sadly only saw once so far.
Maybe he really just had to ask Bree or Sky about it, and if she wouldn't be able to fill the old man in, then maybe he would be able to hear about it from some craftsmen on the mainland. After all, one of his first Destinations would be Melroe, so at the very latest, he should be able to hear it then and there.
But for now, Eisen just continued making the clothes that he was working on, considering that he managed to finish making all of the outfits as well as around half the single-piece clothes so far.
Then, another few hours later, Eisen finally finished making all of them, so the old man was basically at a point where he could properly show them to Komer and have him decide which ones could end up being sold. Of course, Eisen wouldn't be making them all on his own, but instead some other craftsmen could be hired for this kind of work.
And it wasn't necessarily possible, or easy, to make mass-production machines for these items or sets either, so Eisen figured that it would be something that could help a lot of Tailors, or aspiring Tailors, out by hiring them for this simple routine-work.

For now, Eisen quickly moved on and looked at the pile of clothes in front of him happily. To his luck, small items like these could instantly be transported by Sigurd, so he could just leave them in here and then ask the Core Guardian to bring them out when it was necessary to do so.
Then, Eisen swiftly looked at the clock, just to see how long it was supposed to be until they would reach the central Island, before nodding his head in satisfaction.
"Alright, still have about half a day left, huh?" Eisen muttered to himself, and then, for at least a little while, chose to help out a little with the construction of this small 'village' that was being built in the dungeon, so that Eisen could level his Masonry skill up some more.
His Farming, Masonry and Mining skills were the ones that were furthest away from being at the point where Eisen would be able to get them off the list, even though the Masonry skill was technically pretty close to getting to rank 3. He just didn't really use it that often compared to his other skills either, while he absolutely hasn't used his Farming and Mining skills ever since he got them. They were still at the same level as back then.
So, Eisen wanted to get all his other skills properly off the list of things that needed to be done, so that he could properly work on those two skills for a while. That meant he had to sketch a bit more, properly try to delve into Mana Manipulation as well as his Element, and of course also try to raise his other low-leveled skills to make it easier to reach and maintain a Soul Strength of 300.
Those were basically things that needed some grinding to them, but that wasn't ever anything that bothered this old man, so there wasn't any issue with it in the end.
For now, Eisen just had to make sure that he could practice whatever skills that he could fit in at the same time to the best of his ability. For example, he would try and use his Medicinal Knowledge skill at some hospital on the mainland as well, it seemed like it would come in useful in the future, after all.
Either way, the old man wanted to help out with this Dungeon as much as he could for now anyway, considering that he planned on setting it up properly for the first time the moment they reach the mainland, and maybe have Evalia help the advertisement a little bit.
Then things like entrance fees or other issues could be handled inside of the actual Dungeon by the Goblins, luckily.
Other than that, maybe Eisen should try and help out in the third floor as well, maybe him digging away at the walls, as long as they're stone, could help him with his Mining skill as well. He figured he should be able to help out a fair bit around town on the central island by working on some farms, which would probably end up pushing his skill to at least rank 2 if he managed to go as far as he was thinking right now.
After all, Eisen was pretty sure that he had a fairly strong grasp on how long it would take for different types of skills to level up at this point, especially if he already managed to gain the experience to level them up a little bit.
Just as Eisen was working and helping out to put up some walls on one of the few buildings that were left to be built, the other originals entered the dungeon in a frenzy, which Sigurd quickly informed both Eisen and Evalia of.
Swiftly, the two of them made their way over toward them, and before they could even ask, Brody quickly spoke up. "Those piece of shit brothers are at it again." The Demon-Orc said while grinding his teeth, and Eisen raised his eyebrows confused, before Xenia sighed deeply and began to explain the situation in a bit more detail to what Brody just offered.
"It's Merc and Cial, they're up to 'something'. We don't know what, but they're definitely planning something together with Antonio, that Elf guy you spoke about." She explained, but Eisen stared at her, unsure of what she was talking about.
"What do you mean? How do you know that?" Eisen asked, and Xenia slowly looked at him with a frown.
"They're streaming it." Xenia replied, before Jyuuk crossed his arms annoyedly. "It's all over the place, they're just doing whatever they want! It's apparently been a few hours already, and I just heard about it when I logged off for a minute, but it's all over the news. They held something like some bullshit 'press conference', announcing that they're founding a Giant Guild that everyone is free to join as long as they hit a few, pretty simple conditions. We don't know what Antonio has to do with it, but they spoke about him as a 'benefactor'... There's definitely something going on." The beastperson told Evalia and Eisen, before the latter started grinding his teeth in deep, heavy annoyance.
"Where did they hold that press conference?" Eisen asked them, and Jyuuk scratched the back of his neck with a wry smile, "The Capital of the continent's central country, I think. Apparently they went back there to do all this stuff."
"At least that..." Eisen muttered to himself, before moving his fingers through his beard. "We have a way to contact part of the Royal family through Komer, maybe we can use that to find out some deeper information on everything..." He whispered, before Evalia slowly made a suggestion that none of the four others would have expected.
"If you want... Stahl and I can do some infiltration-work."

Blightbane
Miscellaneous Notes: - I want to see about making a crude map of Shroud to help readers. - I also want to get back to writing Coalescence updates. Schedule Notes: - None for now, updates when I can. [ Thank you for your patience and support as I improve my writing and storytelling abilities. I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.

Wet world wonderland.
A young girl of 16 years dies by drowning, and is reincarnated as a living Puddle of Water.Through many fantastical fun filled and wacky adventures our Protagonist will lead a better life than her last.Thank you for your time. Something I want to add, is that this story is written in first person, and I plan to carry on with it for a LONG time.-(Maybe thousands of chapters in size, until the story literally runs out of any potential to keep going.) So yes, there's still a lot of mystery and build up I have planned for future adventures. Wet World Wonderland is a story primarily concerned with the depth and complexity of its world and characters. So forgive me if something seems off, or isn't made immediately clear. I would love to talk, but try and consider that I might have something planned.(Not that you can't still criticize, of course. If you've got an opinion on something, I'd love to hear it.) If you plan on rating WWW, please read until chapter 20. WWW isn't the kind of story you can start judging from the first five chapters. Although, I admit I'm not so sure if 20 chapters in is good enough to judge it either, but I would still advise reading to at least that point. Also, if you have a problem with something in the story, please PM me, and I would love to talk about it. As of 1/19/2021 I have just added WWW's (Wet World Wonderland's) New Cover-Art. I know it's a bit weird, and probably sudden. And with all things considered, it may never make sense. But canonically with lore and info that has, or will be revealed in coming chapters, you might be able to put something together. Anyways, I hope you like it. Also, new symbol, at the top left of the image, hope you all like that too.As of 5/16/2022 the revised cover art for WWW has been uploaded, same as before with the first cover art. I hope you like it. Cover Art Credit goes to Itreallyisyaboi. They're on Instragram.

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
