The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 849

When Angelo got back to her room, she charged her phone at once. As the phone turned on, several messages popped up. They were all from Daisy.
Considering that others might see these messages, Daisy said nothing significant about them and just asked her to call back.
Angelo seemed to know who "Angeline" was.
As soon as she called, Daisy answered, "Hello, Angelo. Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. Just now…"
Angelo looked at the door. She knew the room was well insulated, but she stopped before finishing her words.
"Yeah. I called."
Daisy knew what she wanted to ask from her heisted words.
"Listen, honey, Darren told me that the Watts have been investigating things of your childhood. I called to make a 'proof' for you. Luckily, Mrs. Thorne isn't familiar with Angeline's voice. You don't know how nervous I was then."
Angelo understood everything as soon as Daisy finished her words. No wonder Parker sounded so reasonable when he threatened her, but…
"Has Darren known my identity yet?" asked Angelo worriedly.
If Darren knew it, she might not be able to keep her secret anymore.
"Don't worry. Darren only knows that they were investigating you but didn't know what they have found. After all, the Watts family was almost screwed. No one cares about them."
Angelo was suddenly relieved. She collapsed on her bed and sounded quite tired, "Thank you, Daisy. If it wasn't for you, I might not be able to do it…"
Then, Angelo told her about the talk with Palmer and Parker threatened.
Daisy screamed after hearing her, "Oh, my god. I didn't know the call would have done you such a big favor!"
Angelo smiled and then said thoughtfully, "Yeah. That's why I should thank you. I will do anything for you as long as you need me."
Daisy wasn't used to her serious tone. After all, she helped Angelo wasn't to get something from her.

"All right. Let's talk about that later. And what you should do now is to get back the Watts. By the way, there's one more thing."
"What?"
"The master of the Watts family has changed."

"Angelo, time for dinner."
A sudden knock at the door broke the silence of the room. Angelo looked at the door and saw it pushed open from outside. Zoey then appeared.
"Why don't you turn on the light?" she asked as she reached for the wall switch. Then she saw Angelo losing her mind.
"Are you all right?" she asked. But as she got nearer, she found the aura of Angelo suddenly changed.
"No. You know, it's a long day," said Angelo with a smile. There was indeed tiredness in her eyes, but it was different from before.
Zoey just leaned against the wall and stared at her, "I heard from Hale that you had insisted on going there to save me since you got the call from Parker."
Angelo looked relatively calm. She smiled, "Because I heard you asked me for help, and I was worried about you."
Zoey didn't say anything but turned to leave at once. But soon, she came back and said fiercely, "Come for dinner!"
Angelo laughed, stood up, and went out.
During the dinner, Angelo didn't eat much for bearing too many things in her mind.
Drake glanced over her, put his spoon, and said, "McCoy has taken over the Watts family."
"Yeah," Angelo nodded. Daisy had told her about it.
She was just surprised that Parker took McCoy as the first Heir.
Parker would go to prison, which was a sure thing. McCoy had taken over the Watts group and became the big boss.
"He helped Ivy out of prison," continued Drake.
Angelo raised her head at once and looked at Drake in disbelief.

"That can't be true!" Zoey screamed excitedly before Angelo said anything, "Ivy kidnapped me with Parker. No one could save her!"
She got up angrily and patted her hand on the table. Her bowl fell because of her move.
Drake would scold her if this happened at usual times, but he didn't do that this time because she just suffered the kidnapping. Although she was saved and looked quite brave, Drake could tell that she was only pretending it. Anyway, he was her brother. He knew her.
Thorne couldn't be a coward.
"Ivy insisted that Parker threatened her, and Parker had admitted it in his oral confession. And there was one thing, which was also the main reason she was released," Drake explained patiently.
Zoey calmed down but was still unhappy, "What's it?"
Angelo suddenly widened her eyes. She knew it!
"Ivy has CHD and needs to go to the hospital from time to time."
It was Patrick who answered her. He had been eating quietly. So, his sudden speaking surprised Angelo.
How could he know it? She wondered.
"CHD?" Zoey was so surprised that she forgot to close her mouth, looking as if she wanted to kill Ivy right now.
Drake nodded, agreeing with Patrick.
After a while, Zoey sat back, looking desperate.
Now it seemed that the HCD sometimes could save a person rather than killing her.
That was funny, Angelo thought, but she also felt helpless about it.
"I'm done. Excuse me."
After saying that, Angelo stood up and went upstairs. At the hall of the second floor, she met Corrine.
Corrine was old. She usually didn't eat dinner and went to bed early. Angelo checked the time. Corrine should be asleep at this time.
"Why didn't you go to bed, grandma?" Angelo went up to hold Corrine's arm.
Her move pleased Corrine, "I need to talk to you."
"It's late now. Let's talk tomorrow. You must be tired," said Angelo concernedly.
Her concern touched Corrine, who, however, still insisted, "I have to talk to you now, or I can't fall asleep."
"All right. Just say it. I'm listening," Angelo looked at Corrine seriously.
"Actually, I have known your biological grandfather from a very early age. I knew nothing about the accident that happened to the Watts family before your grandfather come to me with you. He asked me to adopt you…" Corrine told the story that happened dozens of years ago.
Angelo then learned why the Thorne family adopted her and the engagement between the two families.
The old Watts family was once so prosperous, but Parker ruined it.
The more Angelo heard, the angrier she was. She lost her family, but Ivy and Rachel were still living well. As she thought of that, she just wanted to kill.
