The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 846

It was two o'clock in the afternoon. Angelo was so worried that she didn't even feel hungry. Even when Aiken put the meal in front of her, she didn't want to eat anything.
"I'm not hungry yet. You go eat now," said Angelo. Then she looked at the ward. McCoy was already fallen asleep.
His wound was not deep, but it was near the main artery, and he needed to rest if he wanted to heal quickly.
"But…" Aiken tried to talk to Angelo when he saw a figure walking over.
Angelo had been focused on McCoy and didn't notice that the man beside her was not Aiken anymore.
So, she was surprised when she turned and saw Drake there.
"Why don't you eat?" asked Drake unhappily. Angelo was a little guilty, "I'm not hungry yet."
"You had breakfast at seven in the morning. And it was two o'clock in the afternoon. How could you not be hungry?" continued Drake.
Angelo couldn't take the strong momentum of him, so she looked away, "I don't feel like eating, brother."
"You have to eat some anyway." Drake glanced at the ward, then he grabbed Angelo's wrist and walked to the elevator.
"The policemen are here. You don't need to worry about him," he said.
Angelo wanted to struggle but gave up when she heard that from Drake.
Finally, she got in the elevator and went home with Drake.
At home, Corrine was pained to see her haggard face, and she asked people to cook when she learned that Angelo hadn't eaten yet.
Angelo was still thinking about McCoy. "Did you find yesterday's nurse, brother?" she asked.
Drake wasn't happy to hear that but still answered, "She's died."
"Died?"
It took a while for her to understand what had happened. But she just couldn't speak a word.

Zoey heard her scream just as she came back. As she was about to ask what was going on, she heard Drake say, "She has died more than five hours when we found her."
It scared her. "Who died?" she muttered.
Angelo couldn't listen to anyone now. She was worried and scared but also a little happy. She knew who killed that nurse. No one would do that except Parker.
He had done many cruel things. Even if he didn't commit the death penalty, he would spend the rest of his life in prison.
In Angelo's happiness, there was also misery because she was one of the victims. Even if she had come back to life, she could never forget the pain of her heart being stabbed.
Zoey heard no answer and could only go to her room. Just as put her bag down, she received a call.

Angelo stayed at home until the afternoon. Somehow, she felt uneasy. But then she comforted herself that nothing could happen to McCoy since he was under the protection of the policemen.
It was just that Parker seemed to have disappeared from the world. He was not in the company or his house.
The police primarily concluded that Parker absconded with guilty. So, they planned to take Rachel and Ivy to the police station to inquire about them. But Ivy was also gone. Only Rachel at home.
While Angelo was wondering where Ivy went, her phone rang. It was from Zoey. Just as she answered it, the call ended.
Angelo was confused. Vaguely, she remembered that Zoey had come back this afternoon. So why did she call her at this time?
When she dialed back, she found that Zoey's phone was already turned off.
Too many things have happened these days. Angelo had a sense of foreboding. She hurried upstairs but didn't see Zoey in her room.

Hale saw Angelo and came to ask, "Are you looking for Miss Zoey?"
Angelo nodded at once, "Yeah. Where's she?"
"She went out not long after she came back this afternoon. She said Miss Watts invited her to dinner."
Bang!
Angelo's phone fell on the ground. She couldn't help widening her eyes with the scare.
"Ivy?"
"Yeah."
Hale didn't know the situation of the Watts family now. Ivy and Zoey used to hang out together. So, he didn't stop her after knowing her going to see Ivy.
But Angelo knew it. Ivy disappeared because she went to see Zoey. Parker was a man wanted by the police now. So, there was only one reason for Ivy asking Zoey out at this time.
Hostage!
And the call from Zoey just now…
Angelo picked up her phone and kept calling Zoey but couldn't get it through.
At this point, Drake came out of the study, "What's wrong?"
Angelo then calmed down a bit and told him everything in a broken voice.
When she finished her words, Drake's face had become serious. He arranged for people to look for Zoey right away.
The police also started searching when they learned that Zoey went to Ivy.
Finally, in a video of a coffee shop, they found that Zoey fainted in the coffee shop and then was carried to a car by Ivy.
The driver seemed to know the cameras on the road well and had escaped each of them. So, they didn't know where Zoey was taken to.
Besides, Zoey's phone was turned off, so was Ivy's, so they couldn't be located.
It was a premeditated kidnapping, and there was no doubt that Parker and Ivy were united.
After some time, Angelo finally calmed down. Zoey must have called her to ask for help and then was discovered by them. Then her phone was turned off.
Zoey must be all right now. After all, Parker and Ivy kidnapped her to get a chance of surviving rather than killing her.
Suddenly, Angelo recalled something of her last life.
Parker had two phones, and one was used for his work and another for contacting his family. Rachel would not tell the police that, and Ivy was with Parker now.
Angelo smiled.
No one would expect that the last one who knew this little secret was still alive.
