The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 844

"Thank you!" Angelo smiled at her. Then she went to the elevator with Drake.
When they got to the twentieth floor, Drake finally asked, "Why did you get one room?"
Angelo stayed and then burst into laughter.
"It takes you so much time to realize that, Drake?!"
Angelo looked at Drake but thought about the reason that she got one room. To live in one room, she could stable her identity as a man, and Drake might not doubt her gender.
However, what she didn't know was that Drake didn't react slowly. He had a special feeling when he heard the one room request from her.
He was expecting something.
Meanwhile, he was more certain that he loved Angelo.
When Angelo laughed it enough, she made an excuse, saying that she did that to save money for Drake.
Anyone could tell that she said it casually. The Thorne didn't need to save money.
Then, Angelo and Drake entered their room.
Angelo had slept for a long time during the day, so she wasn't sleepy now. But when she saw the bed, she couldn't help lying on it.
She yawned with some tears welled up. In her mind, pictures of what had happened in the Watts house coming up. She didn't even realize that Drake went to the bathroom to take a bath.
The noise of water sounded in the bathroom. Angelo turned over to continue her thinking.
Why did the Watts kill McCoy? What did they want from him?
They might not just want to frame Stella, or they needed to make it so big.
She thought for a while but got no clue at all, but she knew that it was not a simple thing.
The door of the bathroom was opened, the hot steam came out.

Accidentally, Angelo looked over and saw Drake coming out with a naked upper body. She just froze there, so she made up her mind. All her thoughts were gone.
Just as she was anxious and almost had a nosebleed, the doorbell rang.
Drake went to open the door. Aiken came in with a computer and some files, which he then put on the table in the living room.
"Do you have to work so late, brother?" asked Angelo, standing at the door of the bedroom.
Hearing her voice, Aiken was surprised and looked up.
"You must have a long day, Aiken. You don't even have time to rest, do you?" said Angelo and walked over.
While Aiken was thinking about why Angelo was in Drake's room.
"It's my job," replied Aiken. Then he looked at Drake, "I'll come to pick up tomorrow morning, Mr. Thorne. Good night!"
Drake nodded and picked up a file to read.
After Aiken left, Angelo remembered that Drake had spent the whole day with her. So, there must be a lot of business for him to deal with. When he finally had time now, he had to deal with his work rather than sleeping.
Thinking of that, Angelo couldn't go back to sleep. So, she sat next to Drake and watched him working, which was allowed by Drake because he didn't hide anything from her.
Angelo read the files in Drake's hand at first, but later, she was attracted by his hand. Then she moved her eyes to his arm, neck, and face…
The more she looked at him, the more she couldn't stop it. And she just stared at him directly.
Helplessly, Drake looked at her. He chose to work here because he didn't want to think about anything else. But he didn't expect Angelo to sit next to him.

What was more, she had been staring at him. No one could neglect the gaze of the one he or she loved.
When their eyes met again, Angelo smiled, "Drake, the one who married you may be the happiest person."
There was a smile on her face, as in her voice, but only she knew how sad she was.
She could be the happiest person, but he broke off the engagement. Thinking of that, she couldn't hold the smile anymore and looked away.
Drake sensed the loss of her but wasn't sure why because he broke off his engagement with Angeline or because she didn't want him to marry someone else.
He wished that it was the later one, which was also the one he dared not to imagine. If he thought about it, he might take it as the truth. But the truth might be the opposite.

When the dawn came, Angelo had slept for a long time on Drake's shoulder.
She didn't know how she fell asleep. It was just that she felt safe when she was with Drake, as if she needn't worry about anything and he would settle everything for her.
Before, when Drake finished the last piece of paper, he received a call from Aiken, who said that McCoy had woken up.
Just as he was about to wake Angelo up, her body slipped down as his arm got down. Her head was on his leg. While sleeping, she subconsciously put her feet on the sofa and felt much better. After all, sitting was never as good as lying down.
Drake looked at her peaceful face, took a deep breath to suppress the impulse in his heart, and then woke her up.
Angelo was in a daze at first but later sobered up when she heard the news of McCoy waking up from Drake. Then, she realized that she was sleeping on Drake's leg.
Angelo sat up and looked at Drake confusedly. Slowly, she recalled that she had planned to accompany Drake but later fell asleep because of sleepiness.
"Drake…" Angelo looked at Drake with embarrassment. Later, she noticed the tidy files on the table, "You finished all that?"
"Yeah." Drake stood up and massaged his sore shoulder.
Angelo had slept on her shoulder for a whole night, and he had been bearing the sore and didn't move a bit.
Angelo noticed Drake's move and was about to say something when Drake said, "Aiken will send you to the hospital after breakfast."
"What about you?" asked Angelo at once.
