With a proper smile on her face, Angelo had used to such occasions in her last life and knew exactly how to communicate with others.

Different from the lively scene here, Christina and Jeremy seemed lonely.

Christina put a cake on the plate and turned to see Jeremy looking at Angeline, she understood something right away.

She walked to him and blocked his sight.

"I advise you not to think about the wrong person."

Her words were brutal, but she smiled sweetly as if they were whispering something sweet.

Jeremy frowned and looked unhappily at Christina, "Don't you want to get Drake?"

"Yes," replied Christina without hesitation. Then she took a piece of cake and put it into her mouth.

The sweet cream was delicious. But she just felt bitter when she saw the intimate two people not far away.

"I dream of getting him. That's why I advise you not to do anything because it may ruin my plan."

She soon recovered to her normal confident look.

With Jeremy's background and ability, he couldn't get Angeline from Drake no matter how much he loved her.

Different from him, Christina had grown up with Drake, and they were like siblings, which she didn't want to admit, though. With the friendship between their two families, it could come true if she wanted to be with Drake.

"Plan?" Jeremy suddenly looked fierce, "You want to hurt Angeline again?"

"Well," Christina laughed. She put down the cake and tidied the tie for Jeremy.

She did that intimately, but her words were mean, "So what? She took my man. I want to kill her."

Somehow, Angelo shivered and happened to see Christina and Jeremy acting intimate when she turned.

"Drake." She shook Drake's arm. "Is Glamor going to hype the romance between Christina and Jeremy?"

Drake followed her gaze and then shook his head.

Angelo was more confused. Why were they together if it was not for the arrangement of the company?

"You care about him?" asked Drake suddenly.

Angelo stayed and looked at Drake, "I can't tell you I don't care about him at all. After all, he did help me a lot."

When Drake refused her brutally and had affairs with Christina, Jeremy was there accompanying her and comforting her.

From Angeline's words, Drake sensed the change in her mood, but he didn't feel anything.

"Glamor will give him the best resources. He needn't have any negative hype," he said.

He started to change because he finally realized who he truly loved.

At this point, Jeremy held Christina's wrist and asked about her plan in a low voice. He wouldn't allow Angeline to be hurt by Christina again.

But in others' eyes, they looked so intimate that they had body touching.

"Since then, why is Jeremy with Christina?" Angelo couldn't think it through.

Seeing Angelo focus on Jeremy, "You can ask him," said Drake calmly and then left.

Angelo thought about it for a while before walking towards Jeremy.

Christina wasn't a nice person. She wanted to help Jeremy if he offended her as a return of his favor before.

But the two seemed not to notice her and kept whispering. While two meters away behind them, Angelo heard Christina say, "She brought this on herself. Don't you meddle!"

What?

Angelo frowned.

It seemed that Jeremy and Christina's relationship wasn't as harmonious as it looked.

Suddenly, Jeremy saw Angelo walking to the back of Christina. He let go of his hands and hesitated to speak.

Christina sensed the change in Jeremy and looked back. Then she put on a smiling face and said, "Oh, Angeline, you are here?"

Her voice now was totally different from just now. Angelo looked at her and felt quite complicated.

Christina seemed determined to make a scene with her.

"What do you want, Christina?"

Angelo straightened her face and didn't bother to act with her.

Christina, however, wouldn't take it and still wore a smile.

"What? I don't want anything?"

Seeing that, Angelo gave up talking with her and walked to Jeremy. Just as she was about to ask Jeremy, she found people kept looking at them.

Well, forget it.

She'd better call Jeremy to ask about it when she got back. Now it wasn't a good time to talk with him about it.

She toasted her wine with Jeremy as a greeting and then left.

Seeing that, Christina sneered, "Why do you like her? She doesn't even have the nerve to talk with you here."

"It's none of your business."

Jeremy finished his wine and turned to leave, leaving Christina there alone. But it didn't matter, she was the daughter of the Adams, and many men chased after her.

On the other side

Angelo got back to Drake and looked worried.

Drake looked at her, "Did you ask him?"

Angelo shook her head, "It's not convenient to ask with so many people around."

Time passed by, and the party came to an end.

Angelo came with Drake and didn't need to deal with anything.

After the party, Drake sent Angelo back to Green.

Quickly, Angelo changed her clothes and removed her makeup. Then she drove fast back to the Thorne house before Drake arrived.

While she was sneaking into the house, Hale found her, "You just come back, Mr. Angelo?"

Angelo paused and then looked here and there, "Yeah… I hung out for a while…"

"Oh, I see."

Hale didn't ask more. After all, he was just a housekeeper. The host didn't have to tell him their whereabouts.

Later, Drake's car entered the yard. Angelo hurried up with a smile.

Drake got out of the car, looked at her, and asked, "Did you go out today?"

Angelo kept her smile and said without even blinking, "No, I didn't. I have been staying at home. Oh, I just went for a jog. To exercise, you know. I don't think that's going out."

Drake looked over at her and reached out to pinch her shoulder. She was still thin but was much better than before.

Hearing Hale lying, Hale pretended not to hear anything or know anything.
