The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 809

This decision could have been delivered by Karol. But he had a complex feeling for Angelo, which he thought might be for her great potential, so he didn't think much about it.
But Angelo stayed when she heard Clarence. She turned to look at Jeremy.
The call was finished. Angelo put the phone into her bag and took a deep breath before saying to Jeremy, "Stop the car. I need to tell you something."
Jeremy was puzzled but still did as she said. Angelo then told Jeremy what Clarence had said to her.
She had been acting in her previous life, so she was quite familiar with these things. So, when Clarence told her about it, she had guessed what would happen later.
"There may be reporters. So, what do you think about the gossips?"
The company had a clear arrangement for them, which was good for her career. But since it related to Jeremy, she had to ask him about it.
Jeremy was surprised when he heard Angelo. Her asking meant that she had agreed with the hype, so he was a little excited.
Seeing Jeremy's blushed face, Angelo took it wrong and thought he didn't want such an arrangement but felt embarrassed to refuse her. Although she wanted to have further development in her career, she couldn't force her friend to do what he didn't want to.
She looked down with a hint of frustration in her eyes. "If you don't want that, we'd better change a route," she said.
"No. I didn't mean that."
Jeremy got worried and hurried to wave his hands to deny. When Angelo looked at him in confusion, he scratched his head and looked guilty.
"This is an upturn in our career, of course, I want more exposure if you don't mind it."

After that, he looked away. Angelo nodded and smiled, "Then wish happy cooperation!"
With that, she reached out her hand. The gossip was just a part of work to her, and she had used to it.
Looking at the fair hand, Jeremy's heart beat faster and faster. He rubbed his hand and then grabbed Angelo's.
Sensing the warmth of Angelo's hand, Jeremy felt so satisfied. But soon, Angelo withdrew her hand. Secretly, Jeremy closed his hand before sitting back.
When they arrived at Green, there were reporters, and some of them were arranged by the company. They noticed them but pretended to know nothing.
When Jeremy parked the car, he got off, walked to the other side, and opened the door for Angelo.
Angelo held his hand and got out of the car. Suddenly, flashes of cameras lit up. Angelo knew what was going on and forced a smile.
At this point, Jeremy held her hand. She looked at him with confusion.
Jeremy helped clear Angelo's hair, approached her, and gently said, "Since we've started it, we have to do it well."
He had tried to control his excitement, but he still sounded hasty.
Angelo didn't notice the change in him. She nodded and held Jeremy's hand back. Just then, reporters shot photos again.
"Let her go!"
Suddenly, a voice sounded.
Angelo paused and turned to look back and saw Drake there. Seeing his angry face, she was quite nervous. Subconsciously, she got rid of Jeremy's hand.
Jeremy felt bitter in his heart. But then he thought of the hype agreement with Angelo, and his eyes lit up.
A moment ago, Drake learned that Green was the last place Angelo appeared. Hurriedly, he drove here and found many reporters hiding here when he arrived. After a while, Angelo and Jeremy appeared. When he saw them holding hands together, he just couldn't control himself anymore and said that.

He didn't regret saying that and slowly walked to Angelo. When he saw Angelo let go of Jeremy's hand, he relieved his tight, frowning eyebrows.
Looking at the surprising eyes of Angelo, Drake hesitated before explaining, "As entertainers, you should watch your images." Then, he looked away.
Hearing him, Angelo smiled bitterly, thinking that it was just a joke. She didn't think Drake knew anything about the decision of the company.
But Drake had been looking for Angelo and didn't notice the decision made by the company, which Angelo didn't know.
She thought Drake was mocking her for not able to arrange her private life. After all, Thorne had been looking for despising actors.
Since Drake said that, Angelo thought she should do something as a reply.
So, she smiled scornfully, then took Jeremy's hand and looked at Drake.
"What's your order here, Mr. Thorne?" she asked.
Seeing that, Drake clenched his hands, having an impulse to break their hand apart. But finally, his reason suppressed the impulse. He turned a bit and looked away from them, and then he was back to his usual calm.
"Your brother disappeared. The last place he appeared was Green. So, I come here to ask you about his whereabouts."
Drake stayed when she heard that. Then she lowered her head, feeling a little guilty.
She casually made an excuse before she left the Thorne' house. Drake didn't usually ask about others' whereabouts. So, she left with no worries.
When she left, she had decided not to go back. One reason was that she worried about being discovered if she kept changing identities, and the other was that she wanted to pursue Drake as Angeline.
But now, all those were not important anymore. She just wanted to focus on her career. So, she wouldn't go back.
She thought about it and had an idea. She let go of Jeremy's arm and coughed lightly.
"Brother said he had some worries and wanted to travel. He had asked me to tell you about this. I was busy shooting and forgot about it. I'm sorry, Mr. Thorne," said Angelo, showing an apologetic look on her face. But in her eyes, there was guilty.
Drake was stunned after hearing that. The "worries" reminded him of the scene in which he kissed Angelo. His ear blushed, and remorse filled his heart.
"Yeah," answered him coldly.
He turned back, thinking that Angelo might not want to see him anymore. Lightly, he clenched his fist and placed it in front of his chest. On his face, there was bitterness.

The Solstice Wars
In the grey-cloaked cityscape of modern London, student William Whiteswift has two secrets: the Fae walk among humanity, and they are just as vulnerable as us. His childhood was filled with them; they spawned nightmares and episodes, dreams and obsessions. The nightmares remain, of course, but the fae are his normal. Now, he heals them, for William is gifted. When he saves a faerie -- a humanoid fae -- from an injury he can’t explain, William is forced to let her stay. Finally, he may have taken on more than he can handle; Ainsel could uproot his life in seconds. Instead, she cracks a Pandora’s box of mysteries: someone just flipped her home on its head. And because of that, she did something unspeakable. And somehow, she doesn’t want to hurt him. The longer she stays, though, the crueler his nightmares grow. Worse, governments hide secrets, too: they know of faeries. To them, all fae are monsters fueled by solstices and equinoxes. As the autumn equinox approaches, the culling agency COURT hurries to track Ainsel down. With teams across the United Kingdom and Ireland -- iron-strong despite the region’s history -- they are nearing success. A world away, their country wounded, the faerie leaders hunger for justice. In the looming shadows of war and of Ainsel’s mistake, can a human and a faerie protect each other against their own kind? Could their plight mend rifts between bitter nations and bitterer people? Or will it, like past attempts at peace, shatter? Quick note! I hope you all enjoy the Irish (Irish Gaelic) words here and there! All are defined or explained within the text. This is my chance to show off speaking it at least somewhat decently. Still learning. ;D -K

Silver Lucky's Lovely Wubbles
A collection of my Reddit's Writing Prompts replies. This is a cleaned collection of various prompts I have replied to over the years. Some will just have grammar and spelling corrected. Others will get expanded. Some are simple, especially my early ones. Many of the later submissions are a complete short story. Most are just a self-contained story, but I will carry over the existing ideas if the prompt inspires something. Though I hope that some will become more than a simple prompt submission. https://old.reddit.com/r/SilverLuckyScriptures/ Moved over to Royal Roads as the UI is superior for naviation and enjoyment.
