The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 805

Looking at the intimate people in the photos, Vivien instantly understood what Christina meant. But she hesitated because there was nothing between Christina and Drake, according to what happened just now.
Between Thorne and Christina, Vivien felt quite difficult. But it was a rare chance to go up. Finally, she gritted, stuffed the camera into her bag, and made a decision.
On the other side, Christina went to the supermarket to buy fruit. From time to time, she checked the news. Finally, she smiled when she saw the news on top search. Then she drove to the hospital Hale had told Drake.
When the red light of the emergency room went off, Angelo was finally pushed out by doctors. Jeremy hurried up with anxiety on his face.
"What's wrong with her, doctor?"
The doctor took off his mask, handed the surgery sheet to Jeremy, and calmly explained, "She fainted because of taking too many sleeping pills. Luckily, she came in time. There was nothing wrong with her now."
Jeremy then relieved and signed on the sheet. Then he went to Angeline's ward under the guidance of a nurse.
Angelo was lying on the bed, and her face looked quite pale. Seeing her like that, Jeremy felt hurt in his heart.
Then he thought of the doctor's words and clenched his hands. He didn't think Angeline need to take sleeping pills. But soon, he thought of the water she had drunk and had an answer in his mind.
With his ability now, he could do nothing about it. But he swore in his heart that he would get justice for Angeline.
At this point, Drake arrived at the hospital. Hale had told him about Angeline's ward before he arrived, so he went straight to it.
Just then, Angelo's eyes moved. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Jeremy looked very excited. He supported her up a bit, touched her forehead, and asked in concern, "You're awake. Are you all right? Feeling better?"

Outside the door, Drake witnessed the scene and withdrew his leg. He stayed there with a hint of hesitation in his eyes.
The one he loved was Angelo, so what was the meaning of going in? Thinking, he frowned.
Angelo glanced around but didn't see Drake. She was disappointed but quickly forced a smile and shook her head to Jeremy.
When she saw the sheet near the bed, she was curious about it. Noticing her gaze, Jeremy hid the sheet behind.
He knew Angeline wasn't a fragile girl, but he just didn't want her to see the dirty in showbiz.
If it was possible, he hoped to protect Angeline. But he didn't know that she had known everything about showbiz in her previous life, and she had even done that to others.
Seeing Jeremy's move, Angelo knew that there must be something wrong with it. She smiled at Jeremy and took the sheet.
When she saw the diagnosis, she came to understand why Jeremy didn't want to show it to her. She wasn't a girl who just entered the showbiz.
But now, she couldn't do anything to Christina. She had to plan it slowly. Thinking about it, she smiled.
One day, she would make all the people who had hurt her pay!
A hint of fierceness came into her eyes, which shocked Jeremy. He rubbed his eyes and looked at Angelo again but found that she was still the innocent girl. He said to himself that he must see it wrong. But what he didn't notice was that the sheet was hidden away by Angelo.
While the two in silence, a gentle voice sounded in the door, "I've bought the gift. We can enter now, Drake."
With that, Christina held Drake's arm. Drake, however, withdrew his arm without hesitation.
Christina wasn't angry at all. She entered the ward first and put the fruit on the table.

Since Angeline had noticed them, Drake had to enter with Christina. But Angelo felt sad when she saw the two came together.
"Drake was so worried to see you passed out. See? He has asked me to buy fruit for you."
With that, Christina looked at Drake, who hesitated and then nodded. He thought that might be a better excuse.
Seeing them being so amiable, Angelo felt so hurt. She lowered her head to cover the bitterness in her eyes.
"Did the doctor say why you passed out?" asked Christina.
Christina brightened up at Drake's cooperation and beamed as she remembered the news she had just read on her phone.
Whatever the process, the outcome was what she wanted.
She knew the doctor was able to figure out why Angeline fainted. She asked that to irritate Angeline. With her identity there, Angeline could do nothing about her even if she knew she drugged her.
Angelo knew what Christina wanted and didn't want her to be so complacent. She thought about it and then smiled distantly.
"The doctor said the diagnosis was only accessible to family, so I'm afraid I can't answer you, Miss Adams."
What she meant was that Christina was an outsider and shouldn't meddle in it. Christina knew what Angeline meant and wouldn't let her go easily.
"Is Drake an outsider to you?"
Christina held Drake's hand. Drake frowned but cared about Angeline's answer. So, he stared at her and didn't get rid of Christina.
Seeing that, Angelo gave a sardonic smile. Drake must be here to show his love for Christina to disgust her, she thought. Tears filled her eyes.
She raised her head a bit to cover her emotions.
Feeling that the tears were about to fall, she quickly rubbed her eyes and felt bitter.
"I have no family except my brother."
She smiled helplessly, realizing that she could only rely on herself even if she had come back to life. All she wanted might not be hers. Thinking like that, she glanced at Christina with helplessness and bitterness filled in her heart.
Maybe she shouldn't love Drake at first, or she wouldn't be so hurt. Now only revenge was the most important thing to her. Thinking of that, she was more firm.

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
