The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 804

When she saw the reporters, she wasn't surprised because she was the one who informed them to come to spread affairs between her and Drake.
She raised her eyebrows, thinking that even though her plan this time was failed, it was good if they could spread the affair between Angelo and Jeremy. She was afraid that Angelo would fight with her for Drake.
Just then, Drake saw Jeremy's car and hurried to it.
"Wait for me, Drake!" Christina hurried to Drake.
However, the car soon drove out, and the reporters had to stop.
They scanned the photos they had just taken, thinking that it would be a piece of sensational news if it were published. And what they should think now was how to write it to attract the public's attention.
While they were excited about it, one reporter noticed Drake and looked at him.
Christina, who had been following behind Drake, thought her chance came when she saw that.
Angeline and Jeremy had been known by the public. But Christina was a newcomer and was not famous. So, she didn't want to give up a chance.
"Where are you going, Drake?"
Seeing Drake got in his car, she knew where he was going and felt jealous. But she pretended not to know it.
As she thought, Drake didn't answer her but started the car and called Hale.
"Check which hospital Jeremy went," he ordered and then hung up.
He frowned. Angeline's pale face kept appearing in his mind.
He had thought that Angeline was just a replacement for Angelo, but the pain in his heart reminded him that it wasn't like that.
But the one he loved was Angelo, so what did Angeline mean to him? Thinking about that, he clenched his fists and pouched on the car.

Christina hurried up to hold Drake's hand with concern in her eyes.
She knew why Drake did that, so she hated Angeline more.
"Clip!"
The sound was familiar.
Christina looked back and then saw the reporter evading.
She smiled, thinking that her arrangements were not in vain. But soon, she put on an aggrieved look.
Just then, Hale called. Drake answered it at once. Near Drake, Christina heard everything Hale said.
After hanging up, Drake was about to leave when Christina thought of the reporter. She raised her eyebrows and grabbed Drake's hand with a look of concern.
"Is Angeline all right?" she asked. Tears fell from her eyes, making her more pathetic.
As a qualified actor, she was good at it.
But Drake did nothing but withdraw his hand calmly. "Get out of my way," he said to Christina.
He didn't understand why she said that, nor did he want to think about it. All he wanted to do now was to go to the hospital to see Angeline.
Christina gritted. She knew the reporter must be hiding somewhere. A hint of resolution appeared in her eyes. She leaned forward and quickly kissed Drake on his face. Then she showed a look of blush on her face.
Drake stayed there for a second and then pushed Christina away. He frowned. A look of hate appeared on his face.
But it wasn't a time to deal with this. He picked up the tissue in the car, wiped his face, and then stepped on the accelerator.
Looking at the car rushing forward, Christina felt bitter. She closed her eyes, the scene of Drake wiping his mouth appeared in her mind.
She opened her eyes, clenched her fists, and said in determination, "You'll love me someday, Drake!"
By then, the reporters found that it wasn't like a piece of big news. Everyone Drake was a neat freak. So it was not surprising that he pushed Christina away. Thinking about that, she regretted it. She shouldn't waste her time here but go back to write an article about Jeremy and Angeline. Other reporters might have finished their reports now.

As she was in remorse, she suddenly bumped into someone. Covering her head, she mumbled, "Hey! Watch your way!"
When she raised her head, Christina was in front of her. Quickly, she hid her camera back and lamely smiled, "Oh, Miss Adams. What are you doing here?"
Then she looked away because of guilty. There were photos of Christina and Drake in her camera.
She was a reporter and shouldn't be so sneaky. But she just secretly shot them like a paparazzi. If it were known by others, no actors would accept her interview. She had just started her career and didn't want to end it here. But it seemed that she had a bad fortune.
Looking at the hand Christina reached out, she knew she couldn't get away.
"Give me the camera," said Christina.
The reporter hesitated and then took out the camera. Christina took it over and then looked at the reporter up and down.
"You're a new reporter, are you? What's your name?"
If she were an experienced reporter, she would have run away with her camera rather than giving it to her so easily.
Thinking of that, Christina looked more confident. A new reporter was easier for her to manipulate.
The reporter hesitated for a while before answering, "Yes. I'm Vivien."
She knew she couldn't cover it from Christina. So, she chose to tell her the truth rather than lying. Then Christina might cut her some slack.
Hearing her answer, Christina raised to look at her with compliments in her eyes. Then she started to look at the photos on the camera.
After the pictures of Jeremy and Angeline, she saw the pictures of her and Drake. Though Vivien was a news reporter, she was good at shooting.
Christina deleted some photos and saved a few. Then she handed the camera back to Vivien, who took it over.
When Vivien checked the camera, she found that there were photos inside. She was confused and looked at Christina.
"You're new, but I believe you know how to make a scandal."
Then Christina gave Vivien a look of appreciation. After that, Christina drove away from the garage, leaving only a confused Vivien.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
