The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 803

Angelo shook her head and looked towards Drake but only saw Christina shaking his hand.
"You know I've stayed a long time abroad. I just need more practice. I'll do better if I act more," said Christina to Drake.
Seeing that, Angelo felt bitter in her heart. She looked away and sat down, which made Drake very worried.
He got rid of Christina and wanted to go to Angelo when Jeremy's words stopped him, "Angeline may be sick, how about we shoot tomorrow, Mr. Thorne?"
"All right," replied Drake. Then he turned to walk away, trying to suppress his impulsiveness.
He was worried when he saw the pale face of Angelo, but he didn't show his worriedness on his face.
Christina was angry when Drake agreed. He had been serious about work and hated it when people slowed down on work, but today he broke his rules again and again.
Then she looked at Angelo with jealousy full of her eyes. Sensing her gaze, Angelo was puzzled.
"If you can't endure this, you'd better stop being an actor," sneered Christina.
Angelo struggled to stand up. She knew Christina was right. She had suffered tougher times in her previous life and she struggled to shoot. Besides, they didn't have much time. So, she couldn't take a rest now.
"I'm fine, Mr. Wilson. Let's continue shooting."
Angelo forced a smile. On her pale face, the smile looked charming.
"Can you do that?" asked Clarence gently.
Angelo nodded when a person entered and became the focus of the crowd.
"Clarence!"
From the affectedly sweet voice, Angelo could tell who the person was. She couldn't help showing a disgusting expression but quickly took it back.
Looking at Ivy coming, Clarence felt a headache. He lowered his head to check the shooting and carefully made modifications.

Seeing that, Ivy couldn't help clenching her hands tightly. But soon, she put on a naïve face and walked to Angelo.
"Oh, what's wrong with you? Are you alright?" asked Ivy, sounding like a concern. But she reached out to slap Angelo, who was weak but had practiced karate.
Quickly, she grabbed Ivy's hand. Sensing the tight grabbing, Ivy said with a mockery smile, "Let me go!"
She struggled to withdraw her hand but failed. Her wrist got red because of Angelo's holding. Sensing the pain from her wrist, Ivy thought of something. She gave an aggrieved look and started to weep.
Clarence wanted to ignore Ivy, who, however, was a Watts anyway, so he asked in concern, "What's the matter?"
"My wrist aches!"
Ivy cried more sadly. She pointed at her wrist and complained to Clarence in aggrievance.
Angelo sneered when she heard that.
That was Ivy, who always cries whenever she felt wronged. While she was thinking, a slap suddenly came to her face. Oh, that hurt.
In a daze, he looked to the troublemaker, Christina, and let go of her hand holding Ivy.
"I hate people like you. You're fine but pretending to be sick," accused Christina, showing a disgusting look. Then she gently rubbed the wrist of Ivy, who threw a defiant look at Angelo.
Feeling the pain, Angelo seized her sleeve and felt aggrieved.
"Don't pretend to be sick anymore. We're actors. You can't fool us," mocked Christina.
Angelo couldn't hold her anger anymore. She loosened her sleeve and stood up.
Seeing Angelo coming over, Christina was scared and took a few steps back.
Just then, Angelo raised her hand high and Christina was prepared to fight back when Drake grabbed Angelo's hand.
"Enough!" said Drake.
Angelo stayed at first but then smiled bitterly. It seemed that she wasn't as important as Christina. Thinking about that, she turned to leave with a hint of sarcasm on her face.

Seeing Angelo leaving, Drake felt a sense of remorse. However, Christina held his arm and said, "I knew you would protect me like before, Drake."
Hearing that, Angelo felt more hurt in her heart and covered her chest with a hand. Suddenly, black came to her eyes.
"Angeline!"
In her confusion, an anxious voice came to her. With bitterness filled with her heart, she fell to the ground and became unconscious.
"Wake up, Angeline!"
Holding Angelo, Jeremy was so anxious. He pinched the philtrum of Angelo, but she had no response.
Seeing that, Christina looked guilty. She approached them and said in a low voice, "I said we are actors, we can see through you. Just stop pretending."
Her words pissed off Jeremy. He pushed Christina away and stared at her after holding Angelo up.
"If there's something wrong with Angeline, I will make you pay!" said Angelo and then left with Angelo in his arms.
Christina stayed after hearing that. But then, she got angry.
"Who do you think you are? You make me pay?" she shouted, but her words didn't reach Jeremy's ear.
Just then, Christina saw Drake pacing out and was surprised. Subconsciously, she grabbed Drake's hand and looked aggrieved.
"Drake, Jeremy threatened me. I'm scared."
With that, she started to press her face on Drake's chest. But Drake pushed her away. He was so worried that his usual calmness was gone.
Seeing Drake leaving, Christina gritted and jealousy filled with her heart. She swore in her heart that she wouldn't make Angelo pass out so easily.
"Go after him now!"
Ivy winked at Christina when she saw her still frozen in the spot, with a look of resentment on her face.
Christina then came to herself. Before she came, she had asked Ivy to make some arrangements.
Thinking of the scene outside, she hurried to catch up.
Just then, Jeremy had got to the gate. Looking at the crowded reporters, he stayed.
The reporters, however, got excited when they saw Jeremy coming out with Angelo in his arms. They picked up the camera and started to shoot.
After a short pause, Jeremy came to himself.
"Excuse us!" He showed an expression of regret on his face and walked out under the protection of the bodyguards. The reporters hurried to follow up.
When Drake came out, he just saw a crowd of people. He frowned and went around to look for Jeremy.
Just then, Christina ran out.
"Wait for me, Drake!" she said while smoothing her chest.

The Unstoppable Ascension of Zu Mari, Time-Looper
Zu Mari will never be stopped! Zu Mari will ascend to the heavens! Zu Mari is a downtrodden cultivator without any hope of becoming powerful. OR SO HE THINKS! One day fate intervenes on his behalf to give him everything he'd ever dreamed of, ALL THE POWER HE SO RIGHTLY DESERVES! And then, finally, everything starts going his way. (Well... kind of.) [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] wooooo!! Let's do this! Just to clear up some misconceptions, this is not a parody and it is not a satire. Zu Mari does include over the top humor and exaggerations intended to amuse, but satire is a very specific thing which this is not. I certainly haven't read enough xianxia to properly satirize or parody them. It's just a silly project I'm writing for fun, with a meta story that makes me laugh. Expecting anything else will only end in disappointment.
