The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 778

He even started to question his sexual preferences. He had confessed to Angelo that he loved his sister, but suddenly it turns out he was more fascinated by Angelo's appearance. Accustomed to being disguised by the cold, he didn't even know how to vent his anger. Finally, he withdrew his fists and sat down in front of his computer.
The following day, Drake was sleeping on the table, and there were files he dealt with last night.
The scene happened to be witnessed by Angelo. Drake worked so hard, and his body might not bear this.
Thinking about that, she quietly covered a blanket on Drake. There was worry in her eyes. Then she made up her mind to do the job Drake had given to her well so that she could lessen the burden on Drake.
The thing she had to do now was to find out the boss of the foreman. Since Drake wouldn't give her a hint, she had to find it herself.
The best way to start it was from the workers, so she went directly to the safety captain.
"Good morning, Mr. Angelo," the captain greeted her with respect. Last night, he heard Angelo's glory about fighting with a group of workers.
"Good morning. Where are the workers?" Angelo asked directly.
The captain hesitated for a while, but the charge of the resort was Angelo, so he explained, "They were in the security office. We'll call the police and hand them to the police."
Hearing that, Angelo cheered up. If these people had been taken away by the police, it would have brought her more difficulties.
"Good. I need to ask them something. Can you lead the way?" she said.
"Yeah, Mr. Angelo," answered the captain. Then he opened the door of the security office.

In the office, the crowd was lying on the floor casually. Seeing that, Angelo couldn't help frowning.
If a man could get something for nothing, she thought, he would never work, and these people were like this.
But it had nothing to do with her. She found the foreman and patted on him to wake him up.
"You!"
The foreman showed a fierce look in his eyes when he saw Angelo. But soon, he thought of something, and his face quickly changed into a look of begging for mercy.
"Sir, I know I'm wrong. Please forgive me."
He had been working as a foreman for many years and knew well that his good life would come to an end if others knew what happened yesterday and he would be sent to the police station.
Looking at him, Angelo felt disgusted. She looked away and asked in a cold tone, "The boss you mentioned before… Who is he?"
The foreman stayed when he heard Angelo. Soon, he looked down, thinking that Angelo must not have much power since "he" didn't even know the charge of the construction.
Seeing that, Angelo could tell what the foreman was thinking. She sneered and stood up.
"As you think, I just got the job and don't have much power. But if I deal with this matter well, do you think I will have the power? I may help you then."
Hearing her, the foreman rolled his eyes. He knew Angelo was telling the truth. After thinking for a while, he finally decided to make a bet.
Maybe he could live a wealthy life after this, he thought. There was greedy in his eyes. Seeing that, Angelo knew her words worked.
"All right. Listen, my boss is a man named Buck, a big guy, even stronger than me."

"Buck…"
Angelo mumbled the name lightly. Somehow, she felt there was something wrong.
She thought for a while and finally found the problem. The company couldn't hire a man stronger than the foreman.
"You are not fooling me, are you?" asked Angelo.
"Yeah. I'm telling the truth. Don't forget your promise, sir," said the foreman with an ingratiating smile.
Angelo sneered and then turned to leave.
"Yeah. Of course, I remember it. But the forehead is that you have to get out of the police station. A lawyer will go to you then."
As soon as Angelo finished her words, she locked the door. A guard saw that and called the police.
"Thank you."
Angelo thanked the captain with a smile. The captain stayed but then scratched his head shyly.
"Nothing. It's my job."
With that, he lowered his head. His face was flushed. He didn't want to be like this, but Angelo was so charming when "he" smiled. He thought Angelo was prettier than the most beautiful girl in his village.
Angelo saw his face and couldn't help saying, "You are so lovely!"
There was a smile in her eyes, which to the captain, she was like a shy girl.
However, Drake, who had arrived for a while, wasn't happy to hear Angelo's laughter. He coughed a bit. Angelo then looked at him.
When he woke up, he saw the blanket on him. Subconsciously, he looked around to search for Angelo. But still, he held himself.
When he finished washing, he still didn't see Angelo. From the employee, he knew Angelo's whereabouts.
As soon as he got here, he saw the interactions between Angelo and the security captain. He wasn't happy to see that.
"Good morning, Mr. Thorne."
The captain put on his hat and respectfully greeted Drake, while Angelo was worried and concerned about Drake.
According to the scene this morning, Drake might work all night. He should take a good rest. Why did he come here?
"What are you doing here, Drake?" asked her incredulously, which to Drake, however, was to blame. He wondered if Angelo was blaming him for being here.
The more he thought about it, the more upset he was. Subconsciously, he turned and coldly said, "Grandma wants you to make breakfast."
After that, he trotted away, leaving Angelo standing there awkwardly. The captain was there. Angelo felt so embarrassed that he had witnessed the scene and known her cooking issue.
Thinking like that, "Excuse me," she said and hurried to follow Drake. Covering her face with hands, she thought it was such a humiliating thing.
When Drake heard the steps behind, he couldn't help smiling. Anyway, Angelo left with him.
