The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 769

Drake didn't know what Clarence said to Angeline that made her have such thoughts. He made a decision that Clarence should be punished.
For a while, Angelo didn't hear anything from Drake.
Finally, "Well, forget about it," she said. Then she turned her head and looked out of the window, thinking that it wouldn't change anything even if she knew it. Finally, she stopped thinking about it.
As time passed by, she found that the road was familiar.
"This is…going to Green?"
Surprised, she couldn't help saying.
Hearing that, Drake squinted, thinking that she should realize her mistake now.
Then, the car stopped. Angelo got off and was confused. There was no hotel in the neighborhood.
"Here we are," said Drake.
Hearing that, Angelo rolled her eyes. The smile on her face became bitter.
Did Drake think it wasn't exciting enough to do it in the hotel? Angelo wondered. Forget about it, it didn't matter where they were.
With that in mind, she pulled out the key to the apartment Daisy had given her and scoffed, "Where shall we go?"
For a moment, Drake was confused. There was confusion in his eyes.
Looking at Drake, Angelo was puzzled, "Didn't you want to do it in my house?"
Hearing that, Drake was getting angry, and his face grew colder and colder. Now, he wanted to pry her head to see what was inside.
When Angelo sensed Drake's anger, she got upset and sneered, "Did I mistake you? Did you want to do it with me?"
Drake, however, turned and got into the car at once. Then, the car rushed forward.
Angelo looked at the car, and the key fell from her hand.
Was Drake angry? She thought and shook her head. Sure enough, Drake was difficult. Just then, a worker came to her and picked up the key.

"Is this yours, lady?"
"Yeah. Thank you."
Angelo thanked the man with a smile. As she took over the key, she glanced over the man and then was confused.
There was no apartment under decoration, why did the man appear here? And according to his dirty clothes, he must be off work just now.
Thinking about that, she became more confused. So, she put the key into her bag and asked curiously, "Where did you work, sir?"
"You don't know? The road not far away is being widened. I just came from the site."
Hearing that, Angelo had a thought in her mind. She thought of how Drake had behaved before and wondered if she had been wrong about him.
Then she thought of the words she had said to him.
Oh, god!
She covered her face, the bitter face.
She offended Drake! God! She would be in big trouble!
Suddenly, it occurred to her that Drake had been away for a long time.
"Oh, my god! I'm exposed!" she screamed.
At this time, the male Angelo should be working in the office.
"Thank you, sir!"
As she spoke, she began to run.
Looking at the hurried girl, the man was puzzled. Were girls now so hasty?
Hurriedly, Angelo ran to the coffee shop, changed her clothes, and put Adam's apple on her throat. After that, she hurried to the lift.
When the door of the lift opened, a straight man came out. Seeing him, Angelo even held her breath.
She scratched her head, looking quite embarrassed. Then she forced a smile at the man.
"What are you doing here, Drake?"
The man was Drake. He didn't see Angelo in the office and then asked Lisa about "him."
"You can't go out during work time. Didn't Lisa tell you that? Who allowed you to leave your post?"

Angelo was panicked when she heard the question. She rolled her eyes and then closed them.
"I want to buy her a cup of coffee to thank her."
Of course, that was a lie. But she couldn't think of a better excuse for the moment. When she prepared to be revealed, "Come on," Drake said.
"Yeah."
Angelo stayed but soon realized something. She patted her chest and felt she was so lucky that she got him.
Before the elevator closed, she quickly ran into it when Drake secretly withdrew his hand he had reached out before.
When they got out of the elevator, Drake went back to his office, and Angelo went to the secretary's office, where Lisa had been waiting for her.
"Oh, now you come back."
Lisa said angrily when she saw Angelo entering the office. Angelo was more confused. Drake didn't reveal her lie just now.
"Tell me what happened, Lisa? Why did Drake went to the coffee shop for me?"
From her institution, she guessed that it was related to Lisa, so she just asked her.
"Drake just asked me where you are. I lied to him that you went to buy coffee for me. But you did in the coffee shop."
As Lisa spoke, she cautiously looked around. Angelo then knew that Lisa had helped her, and she happened to use the same excuse as Lisa.
It was so risky, and she was indeed lucky, Angelo thought. Then she went to massage Lisa. "Thank you, Lisa," she said.
Without Lisa's help, her secret might be exposed.
"No problem. But you used to come back before Drake. What's wrong with you today?" asked Lisa. Slowly, she closed her eyes, thinking that Angelo massaged well.
Angelo gave a wry smile when she heard Lisa. She used to think that nobody knew her sneaking out, but now it seemed that Lisa knew everything.
Thinking of that, she was more grateful for Lisa. But she couldn't tell her the true reason, so she hesitated in speaking.
"All right, all right, I know," said Lisa, pulled Angelo's hand away, and shrugging. Then she opened the door but then turned back to tease Angelo, "You've been dating a girl, do you? Don't be shy. Just be careful next time."
Lisa didn't tell Drake about it because Angelo was a Thorne and maybe her boss later, so it wasn't a bad thing to get along with "him."

Sector 26 is the poorest sector that humans can barely survive in; but there is one more part of Japan.
