The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 746

Seeing that, Angelo got into the car and sat at the passenger seat.
Soon, the two arrived at the hotel.
She looked at the hotel, which was the place Drake met Abby last time. As she thought of that, she was disappointed.
Drake seemed to see through Angelo's thought. He lowered his head to look at his watch, and then, like explaining, he said, "We used to negotiate cooperations with her here."
Oh, it was business, Angelo thought, feeling much better.
She then checked the time, ten past seven. It had passed the appointed time.
But Drake didn't look anxious. So, Angelo didn't warn him.
At this point, the manager of the hotel walked to them.
"Everything is arranged as your order, Mr. Thorne."
"Yeah."
Drake nodded, walking into the hotel. Angelo hurried to catch up and then pulled his sleeve with curiosity.
"Just wait and see," said Drake, giving a rare smile.
But to Angelo, she seemed to see a devil from hell. Subconsciously, she shrunken.
"Oh, you are here, Mr. Drake."
Abby was glad to see Drake. She stood up to greet him with a smile. Now, she wasn't that arrogant star.
"Yeah," replied Drake lightly without looking at her. Then he took a seat opposite her.
"I know you love wine. This is my treasure. How about you have a try?"
With that, Abby was about to pour some wine for Drake.
Just then, Angelo came to them slowly. She glared at Abby with a smile and then sat beside Drake.
"Angelo? What are you doing here?"
Abby trembled a little bit. Then she put down the wine and stared at Angelo. There was a hint of fear in her eyes.
"I just keep an eye on Drake for my sister. Just go on."

Angelo used the excuse again. Then, she took over a glass near Abby.
"Pouring wine is not a thing a lady like Miss Abby should do, right?"
As she spoke, she poured herself a glass of wine. Then she put the wine bottle aside and covered the lid.
"I'm sorry," apologized Angelo, looking at Abby with provocation, "My sister doesn't want Drake to drink. Right, Drake?"
When Abby looked at Drake, Drake's eyes deepened, and he wondered what Patrick told Angelo that made Angelo so defensive.
But when he saw Angelo's hopeful eyes, he nodded. Besides, after the food poisoning incident, he was warier of food.
What's more, the wine was prepared by Abby, who was with him when he got food poisoning.
"Your sister is…?"
Abby clenched her fist tightly. She was angry but still tried to manage a mild appearance as if she was just chatting with a familiar friend.
"I don't know you. Why should I tell you that?"
Angelo was superior to Abby in acting. She had seen through Abby but still pretended to know nothing. Instead, she was happy to play the game. She wanted to see how Abby reacted when she learned about her amnesia.
"You must be kidding, Mr. Angelo. We acted together, remember?"
Angelo laughed, although she was confused at Abby's words. Her eyes, however, we're staring at her.
"That can't be true! I'm picky, Miss Abby. I know I have amnesia, but I don't believe I chose you as my partner. You know, even though you are a celebrity, but your face…"
Angelo looked at Abby up and down, which showed what she wanted to say.
Abby's face didn't look good. She pinched her palm fiercely with her nails and gave a surprising look.
"You have amnesia, Mr. Angelo?" She changed the subject and stopped talking about her appearance. Then she looked at Drake with concern full of her eyes.

Drake nodded.
While Abby was about to talk about it with Drake, "Did I see you somewhere before, Miss Abby?" asked Angelo, looking at Abby.
Hearing that, Abby looked away and replied in a low voice, "No. That's impossible. We haven't seen each other since Stella's party."
"Maybe I misremembered," said Angelo, focusing on cutting her steak.
Just when Abby started to relieve, there was Drake's cold voice.
"I didn't see your bodyguards, Miss Abby."
Abby's heart was up when she heard that. She smiled awkwardly and then explained, "I don't think they need to be here when I eat with you, right?"
"Well, I heard they went missing with my brother." Drake snapped.
With that, Drake coldly looked at Abby, who soon had cold sweat on her forehead and almost couldn't maintain her smile.
Their conversation reminded Angelo of the men who kidnapped her. She didn't expect Drake to find out their identities as Abby's bodyguards in a few days.
"I don't know. They said they wanted to go home, and I settled their wages," said Abby gently after hesitating for a while. On her face, there was a gentle smile again.
She had decided to deny everything Drake said. She didn't believe he would do something to her just because of a few bodyguards.
"Okay, if you said so,"
To Abby's surprise, Drake didn't ask more and stopped talking after a short reply.
Although Angelo was sure that Abby planned the kidnapping, she didn't have any proof and could do nothing about her.
She picked up the glass and looked at the smiling Abby. Poor girl, she thought, she wore the mask every day, didn't she feel tired?
But thinking of herself was also acting every day, she gave a wry smile and drank the wine.
"It's good," she complimented with surprise. Abby indeed prepared a bottle of good wine. Thinking about that, she plugged the cork and poured herself another glass.
"Yeah, right? Why don't you have a try, Mr. Angelo?"
Abby's eyes lit up. As she spoke, she picked up the wine and poured one glass for Drake. Seeing that, Angelo hurriedly took the glass over.
"Drake, you have promised my sister."
Seeing Angelo like this, Drake couldn't help but think Angelo got drunk in France and was worried.
As he reached for the glass, Angelo hurried to take the glass and drank it. Somehow, she didn't want Drake to drink the wine from Abby.
