The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 744

After Drake left, Angelo sat on the sofa. She didn't lose her memory and was quite familiar with the house, so she didn't want Patrick to take her anywhere.
"Angelo, I'll take you to your bedroom."
Patrick walked to Angelo and tried to pull her up but was dragged on the sofa by Angelo.
He turned to look at Angelo, wondering why "he" looked so weak but had such great strength.
"I don't want to visit any room, Patrick."
With that, Angelo picked up a grape from the plate and put it into Angelo's mouth.
Patrick nodded. He had no interest in showing Angelo around the house. Thinking of Angeline, he took a strawberry and gave it to Angelo.
"I used to like strawberries. Try this, Angelo."
Angelo took over the strawberry and was surprised. She had been watching out for Patrick, so she didn't expect him to do this.
When Patrick saw Angelo eat the strawberry, he smiled, rubbed his hand, and tentatively asked, "Do you remember you have a sister?"
Angelo wondered why Patrick was so nice to her, and she thought it through when she heard the question.
Thinking of how Patrick flattered her when she showed up as Angeline, she got goosebumps all over.
Anyway, she was boring now and could play a trick on Patrick.
As she thought, she smiled and wiped her mouth with the tissue. Then she pretended to lose in thought.
"Sister? I may have one."
"Yeah. Her name's Angeline. Remember?"
Angelo smiled when she heard Patrick's eager voice, then she nodded.
"Yeah, I know. It's my name."
She told the truth, but Patrick thought she was playing a trick on him.
Patrick put a grape into his mouth and whispered, "You have forgotten everything. How can you remember your sister? Alas! I should have asked for her number."

Hearing that, Angelo coughed. She almost got caught by him. She looked at Patrick with a complicated face.
"You want her number?"
"Yeah."
Patrick nodded at once. Since he met Angeline, he felt blood boiling all over his body. Angeline's face had been appearing in his mind these days.
But he didn't have her number. So, he couldn't meet her, let alone chasing after her.
The good thing was, her brother Angelo was here. Patrick believed that she would come for Angelo someday. Then, as long as he tried hard, he could make her fall in love with him.
"I have her number," said Angelo lazily.
Patrick's eyes lit up when he heard that. But he soon thought of something, and his eyes darkened.
"Even if you knew her number before, you don't remember anything now."
Angelo glanced at him and thought he was clever. But she was so bored now that she didn't want to end the game.
"Oh, my head hurts," whispered Angelo, covering her head with hands. She looked like she was in pain.
As soon as Patrick noticed that, he stood up at once.
"Where are you going?" Angelo asked.
That was not what she thought Patrick would do.
"I'll bring the doctor here."
Angelo gave a touch of regret when she heard that. She didn't want to see any doctor now. After all, the doctor knew about amnesia cases. She might expose herself in front of them.
"Don't worry. I'm fine." Angelo grabbed Patrick's sleeve.
Patrick looked at Angelo with worry, "I'd better find you a doctor. Otherwise, Drake will scold me if there is something wrong with you."
He saw how Drake treated Angelo. Drake had never treated him like that. So, he didn't want to offend Drake.

Angelo didn't expect Patrick to be so firm, so she could only try to distract him.
"I remembered that I have a sister and that I have put her number in my pocket," she said at once.
Patrick just forgot about the doctor when he heard that.
"Really? Give it to me."
He turned to look at Angelo, who then gave a long breath. She didn't want to expose herself because of teasing Patrick.
"I don't have the clothes," she said calmly.
Patrick hurried up and looked worried.
"Tell me where they are. I'll go get them."
"How could I remember that? Oh, I want to see the entire house."
Angelo didn't want to talk more about it. She got up and said that to Patrick, who could only take her around.
Soon, Patrick told Drake everywhere about the house except Drake's study. Drake was working there, so he didn't want to disturb him.
"That's all? Really?" Angelo asked.
She knew the house well, so she knew Patrick didn't tell her about the study.
"No. There was another room, Drake's study. But it's not convenient for us to go there now."
As Patrick spoke, he looked at the study with a trace of fear. Then he whispered to Angelo, "You know, the only person you can't mess with within this family is Drake."
"Yeah," Angelo answered but couldn't help walking to the study. After so many days with Drake, she wasn't quite afraid of him.
"What are you doing?" Patrick grabbed Angelo's hand when he saw her pushing the door, then he scolded her in a low voice, "I told you don't mess with Drake."
"I want to see the room."
Angelo turned around and got rid of Patrick. She did try to practice karate, and it worked now.
"Ouch!"
Patrick couldn't help shouting but then covered his mouth at once. The study was well insulated, and he was not afraid of being overheard by Drake.
Just then, he heard the door of the study room open. Then, the door opened. Facing Drake, Patrick forced a smile.
"Hi, Drake," said Patrick with a quivering tone.
Angelo, however, went up to grab Drake's clothes and then gave a contented smile.
"I finally find you, Drake."
She was trying to show her dependence on someone she trusted after she had amnesia. And more importantly, she wanted to find some clues about the person who kidnapped her.
"Dame it!" Patrick cursed in a low voice.
When he showed Angelo around, Angelo touched many things, and "his" hands must be dirty. But Drake was a germaphobe.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
