The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 741

"Drake, I found Angelo," a servant shouted, running in.
Drake frowned and put the fork on the table.
"Where is he?"
There was anxiety in his voice, thinking about Angelo, who was gone a few days ago.
"He fainted at the door."
"Take me to him."
Drake followed the servant to the door and saw Angelo lying on the ground. His clothes were torn, and there was a wound on his forehead. Drake's face looked unhappy. He couldn't imagine how Angelo would come up to this state.
"Get him inside," Hale urged the servant, who answered and was about to walk up to get Angelo when Drake took one step ahead and picked Angelo up.
"Call the doctor, now!" Drake ordered.
"Yeah," replied Hale went for the doctor.
Looking at the back of Drake, Patrick widened his eyes in surprise. Was that the Drake he knew?
When Drake placed Angelo on the couch, the doctor arrived. He looked at the cold face of Drake and spoke in a trembling voice, "Mr. Drake."
"Check Angelo, please."
The doctor answered and put the medical kit aside. He flipped Angelo's eyelids and checked it carefully, then opened the medical kit.
After the check, he wiped the sweat on his forehead and was relieved.
"He was knocked out by a slight blow to his head. He will wake up later. Nothing, injured on him, so calm down,"
Then, he put the stethoscope aside, took out a silver needle from the medical kit, and started to take off Angelo's clothes.
Drake frowned, looked away, and clenched his fists. He didn't want to see anyone take Angelo's clothes off.
"What are you doing to me?"
Suddenly, Angelo woke up and opened her eyes. When she saw the needle in the doctor's hand, her face became pale.

Subconsciously, she backed away. The doctor paused and then put the needle down.
"Since you woke up, Mr. Angelo. There may not be a big problem with you."
"Angelo?"
Angelo gave a blank face. She held his head, looking painful.
Daisy did hit her hard, that she might have a concussion. Angelo murmured in her heart.
It turned out that Daisy's idea was to knock Angelo out and put her near the gate of the Thorne' house. When Angelo woke up, she could tell Thorne that she lost her memory so that no one would ask about her missing.
To make it look real, Daisy hit Angelo on the head with a baseball bat, and Angelo just fainted.
"What's wrong?" asked Drake coldly, looking at the doctor nervously. He was shocked by Angelo's words.
"No way. He should be all right," answered the doctor confusedly.
Feeling the oppression of Drake, the doctor started to sweat again. He looked to Angelo, and his tone trembled.
When he finished his words, he reached out to feel Angelo's forehead.
"Who are you? What are you doing? Where am I?" Angelo slapped his hand down.
When Drake heard Angelo, his face tightened. He looked at him and seemed to understand something.
At this moment, Patrick approached Angelo.
"Do you know who I am?" he asked, pointing at himself.
Looking at Patrick, Angelo wanted to play a trick on him. She raised her hand and slapped his face.
"What are you doing, Angelo?"
Patrick was shocked by the slapping and then raised his hand to hit Angelo back but was caught by Drake.
"Drake?" Patrick was confused, looking at Drake, who then threw his hand aside.
"Aren't you supposed to stay in your room?"
Hearing the indifferent words, Patrick felt wronged. He gave Angelo a dirty look and stormed upstairs.

Before going upstairs, Patrick looked back at Drake and found that he paid all his attention to Angelo. Patrick didn't understand it. Since when Drake valued Angelo more than him. Aren't they brothers? Angelo was just an adopted son, yet it seems Drake had more affection towards Angelo.
No, Angelo was also Angeline's brother. Thinking of that, Angeline's face appeared in Patrick's mind. A touch of infatuation appeared on Patrick's face.
"It seems that I have to get along with Angelo," he muttered. Drake, at this point, glanced at him, who hurried to his room and closed the door.
"Angelo seems to lose his memory. As for a reason, he'd better have an examination in the hospital."
Bearing the pressure, the doctor suggested. Drake answered lightly. Then the doctor picked up his medical kit and withdrew.
Now, there was only Angelo and Drake in the living room.
Looking at Drake's straight face, Angelo remembered the scene where she kissed Drake and blushed. Shyly, she looked away.
Then, she felt the coldness on her forehead. When she looked up, she met Drake's eyes.
Looking at Angelo's innocent eyes, Drake's ears started to burn, but he still wore a calm face.
Drake put his hand down, then he walked forward and picked Angelo up.
Angelo stayed for a while, and she felt something was wrong. Did Drake see her through? Or why did he hold her?
Subconsciously, she reached for her throat to make sure that she showed up as Angelo. When she felt the hump, she was relieved and started to wonder why Drake did this.
"Let go of me!"
She felt something bad would happen when Drake was walking towards the gate, so she started to struggle in Drake's arms.
Noticing her move, Drake's eyes darkened and then realized how tiny Angelo was in his arms.
"Don't move. I'll send you to the hospital," Drake said in a low voice, seeming to comfort "him."
Angelo froze when she heard that. Although Drake's face looked cold, she could hear the tenderness in his voice. But she then shook her head at once and tried to get rid of the strange feeling.
When she saw Drake's car, she guessed that Drake must want to take her to the hospital. She started to get anxious. She didn't lose her memory. If she had a checkup at the hospital, she might be exposed.
"I won't go anywhere."
Angelo struggled to get out but failed to move his strong arms.
"I'm your brother," Drake said firmly.

First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.

The Black Lord's Promise
It is said that the path to hell is paved with good intentions. Perhaps this does not matter if the world itself is corrupt. Change, then, is to be feared only by those who are themselves corrupt. The first chapter is an extended prologue that sets the scene of a riparian frontier of an alternate world, somewhere between medieval and the pre-industrial age, during an era of turmoil and possibility. A mysterious man is summoned to bring forth a new kingdom, but does he bring hope or calamity?
