The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 728

Drake looked at Angelo and still felt that he had just met Angelo.
Angelo became more nervous when she noticed Drake's gaze. She just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"I have classes. I should go back to school. Have a good rest, Drake!"
Drake nodded, despite the fact that weird thoughts run through his head.
Angelo was so relieved that she forced a smile and hurried out.
"Wait!" Drake's cold voice sounded again.
Angelo had to stop, taking a deep breath out of anxiety.
"What's wrong?"
Angelo just regretted coming to the hospital to visit Drake. She was on tenterhooks now.
Seeing Angelo like this, Drake finally figured out why he had the feeling of meeting Angelo recently. The person who saved him last night looked like Angelo.
Thinking of the artificial respiration, Drake's ears blushed. But he still looked calm.
He thought for a moment, picked up the newspaper, and asked, "What have you been doing this month?"
Hearing that, Angelo sweated, wondering if Drake found out she had been learning karate.
But she had always been careful, and she had asked Wade not to tell Drake about it. Drake shouldn't know it.
Angelo cautiously looked up at Drake. She didn't believe Drake know it.
"I have been at school. Sometimes I went shopping with Daisy," she said, closing her eyes.
When she opened her eyes to look at Drake only to see him frowning, desperately, she thought she was screwed this time.
But Drake was fretted when he heard Angelo being so intimated with Daisy.
He looked up at Angelo. The more he looked at him, the more he felt that he was like his savior.
"Did you go out yesterday?" Drake asked.
Angelo was stunned to hear that but soon came to herself.

She looked away. "No, I had been staying at the dormitory preparing my paper for today's speech contest," she quickly made up a lie.
Afraid of being suspected, she added, "I got the first place in the contest, Drake."
And Drake had removed his suspicion after hearing that. He nodded and said, "All right. You can leave."
It was like amnesty to Angelo. She walked out at once and closed the door.
Angelo exhaled a sigh of relief as she walked out of the hospital. She might not be able to fool Drake if he continued to press for details.

Inside the ward
Drake couldn't understand what was written in the newspaper he's holding. He lost his thought for a while. The face he saw yesterday was full inside his mind.
At this time, the door was pushed open. The attending doctor quietly came to Drake and sat down on Drake's bed. Then he took out a pen and asked, "Mr. Drake, how are you feeling now? Is there any pain you still feel?"
"No. I'm fine," Drake answered.
The doctor smiled and then stood up.
"If you don't have any sequelae, you can leave the hospital tomorrow."
People usually rested at home for a few days after being renewed for food poisoning. Drake was in the hospital just to make sure there were no other complications.
"Yeah," Drake nodded.
Seeing that, the attending doctor wanted to leave. He was scared of the cold aura Drake had, so he just wanted to leave quickly.
As he walked to the door, Drake thought of something. He put down the newspaper and asked, "Did you see the person who sent me here?"
He somehow persisted in find out his savior.
The doctor thought for a while and then nodded, "Yeah. It was a girl."

Drake's eyes grew cold as he heard that. Then he thought for a while and asked, "What does she look like?"
"Very beautiful. But I don't know how to describe her."
Drake nodded."Okay. I have nothing else to ask."
The doctor left. Drake was lost in thought again. He closed his eyes, that face appeared in his mind.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes. Angelo had Adam's apple, but his savior didn't have it.
Drake knew he thought too much. Angelo was a man, so he couldn't be the person who saved him.
Then he took his phone and called Aiken, who answered it at once.
"Mr. Drake, I'm looking for clues about your food poisoning. I believed there would be a result soon."
"Find out the person who saves me," Drake ordered and then hung up.
Aiken told others Drake's order. They started the investigation at once.

In the Hills mansion
"What happened, dad? Why is my marriage with Angelo canceled?" Stella asked Baron.
After she received the news from Nathan, she was worried and hurried home.
"You ask me? Look at them!"
Baron threw a stack of papers to Stella, who picked them up to read. The more she read, the more shocked she felt.
She crumpled up the papers in rage.
"Doris!" She said with hatred.
The Taylors had blocked the purchase channels of the company of the Hills. And they claimed that they would buy the company if the Hills didn't break off the engagement to Thorne.
Stella thought of what Doris said to her at school and then understood everything. Now she just wanted to spank Doris.
"What did Drake say about it?" Stella asked with expectation.
She thought of the words Angelo said before going abroad, thinking that Drake supported this marriage.
However, Baron became angrier after hearing that. He clenched his fists as he thought of the insult he had suffered at the Thorne' company today.
"He refused to help us, and his assistant threw the announcement of the dissolution of the marriage to us," Nathan said angrily, patting Baron's back to ease his anger.
What happened today was so embarrassing!
"No! It's impossible!"
Stella sat down on the floor, and her eyes filled with disbelief. When she thought of Angelo's handsome face, she didn't want to give up like this.
"Dad, can we keep the engagement?" She begged though she knew it was impossible.
Compared with her family interest, she was nothing.
"The engagement will break tomorrow. And you have to engage with McCoy Watts, the son of the Watts's, to make up for the loss of our company," Baron said, undeniably.

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
