The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 724

"I know you are the best," said Angelo, giving a big smile. Daisy sighed inside that she was indeed a beauty.
The beautiful dress and long hair made Angelo look more charming. And her smile was even seductive. She is indeed a woman behind those men's dresses she wore every day.
Angelo took a look at her wristwatch and then became worried. Hurriedly, she picked up her suit and walked to the dressing room.
Daisy grabbed her in confusion, "What are you going to do, Angelo?"
"I have to change my clothes and then go to school."
Angelo tried to pull Daisy's hand off as she spoke, but Daisy just took the suit.
"Why are you in such a hurry? You finally got the chance to wear a dress, and you should wear it for a little longer. Besides, no one knows you in Seal here. You can have fun as a girl."
"I have a French speech contest tomorrow afternoon. Witch Susie made me do it. You remember?" Angelo explained helplessly, trying to take the suit back.
Daisy stepped back and then threw the clothes on the ground.
"See? It's dirty now. The contest is tomorrow afternoon. We can buy a new suit tomorrow morning. So tonight, let's have fun together."
Daisy stepped on the suit as she said. She was saddened by the thought of Angelo, a girl who wore menswear every day.
Angelo knew what Daisy was thinking. She looked at the dirty suit on the ground and then nodded.
"Where shall we go now?"
She looked at the time. It was more than ten o'clock now. Hotels might not have rooms at this time.
"I have arranged everything well."
After saying that, Daisy called a five-star hotel nearby. She had planned everything and booked two rooms before they came.

Just then, Angelo's phone rang. She picked it up as soon as she saw the name "Witch Susie" on it.
"Hello. What's the matter, Mrs. Susie?"
"The time of the speech contest is changed to eight a.m. You are the last one. Remember?
We are looking forward to your victory," Susie said and then hung up.
Daisy got close to Angelo to ask.
Looking at the dirty suit on the ground, Angelo said, "Witch Susie said the time of the speech contest is changed to tomorrow morning."
She felt upset. She was the only student who entered the final of the speech contest, Susie had put a great expectation on her. So, she couldn't miss the contest.
"Don't worry. We'll go back now. It's dark now. No one will notice you. You just need to go back to your dormitory and change your clothes. That's it."
Daisy knew the contest mattered. She picked up the suit and threw them into a pile of clothes.
Angelo nodded and then walked out. Daisy followed up at once.
Once strapped in, Angelo drove to Boom.
There was only one cement road to Boom. Along the road, mountains surrounded. It was late now. There were no other cars. Tres rustled when the wind blew, making lonely way eerier.
"I'm scared, Angelo."
Daisy was not quite bold. The scary scene made her recalled the horror movies she had watched before, so she hugged herself tightly.
"Don't worry. It's not in a horror movie now."
Angelo knew what Daisy was scared of. She chuckled and tried to comfort Daisy.
But it didn't work. Instead, Daisy was more frightened and kept looking around.
After a while, "There's a car!" Daisy suddenly shouted.
Then she just covered her eyes with her hands, mumbling spells from the movies she recalled.

"I don't see a car. There's just…"
Before Angelo finished her words, she saw the car. She frowned and slowly drove to the car.
When she saw it clearly, she felt that it looked familiar. She stopped to look at the plate and then was stunned.
"What? What did you see?"
Daisy was scared when she saw Angelo's look, and suddenly she looked around cautiously.
Angelo, however, restarted the car.
"Something horrible… Drake's car! It may be broken," Angelo said and was about to speed up. She was dressed as a girl now. If Drake saw her, she would expose herself. She didn't want to get into trouble.
"I don't think so," Daisy gently said, looking at the car. She felt there was something strange in the car.
"Why?"
Angelo was surprised, and then she looked to the car, whose lights were still on. That was indeed strange.
People usually kept the lights on when their cars broke, but it was strange when it happened to Drake. As the master of Thorne and the most powerful man in Boom, he could just call someone to take the car away if it was broken.
Even if they came to pick up the car tomorrow, Hale would come to pick up Drake, then the lights of the car wouldn't be on.
Besides, they have stayed here for a while. If Drake was here, he should come to them to ask for help.
"Get off. Drake may be in trouble."
With that, Angelo unbuckled her seat belt, opened the door, and got out.
"Wait for me."
Daisy followed off. She didn't want to stay in the car alone.
Angelo tried to open the door of Drake's car but found that it was locked. She felt more and more anxious.
Then she walked to the front of the car. Through the window, she saw Drake sitting on the chair, seeming unconscious.
"Daisy, call an ambulance. There seems to be something wrong with Drake," Angelo ordered. Then she walked around to find a stone to break the door.
Daisy answered and then took out her phone to call.
"Where are we now, Angelo?" Daisy asked.
Angelo looked around and told her the location. Daisy repeated the words to the phone.
"Found you!"
Angelo found a rock with a sharp top. She picked it up and went to the car window.
In physics, the smaller the surface, the greater the force. Angelo knew this principle, so she kept hitting the same point on the window.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
