The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 717

"Doris, let's continue our tour."
The girl who led the way ran to Doris and said in a gentle voice. But Doris didn't seem to hear her, she stood still with a blush on her face.
Following Doris's eyes, the girl saw the back of Angelo and sighed, "Angelo is so lucky!"
Angelo had no idea of that. She checked her class schedule and found no class today. So, she just went to her dormitory.
"Oh, you're finally back, Angelo."
Angelo heard Daisy's voice as soon as she entered the room and gave her a big smile.
In this school, the dormitory was like a hotel, a room for only one student. Daisy was the only friend of Angelo in this school, so Angelo had given her a key to her room.
"What are you doing here, Daisy?"
Angelo sat on her bed, opened the trunk, took out the clothes, and hung them in the closet.
"You are so cool!"
Looking at her phone, Daisy jumped on the bed. Only when she was with Angelo, she showed her girlish character.
Angelo noticed something from her words. She closed the closet and tentatively asked, "You saw me fight back against those school bullies, do you?"
"You don't know? Check the official college website. I have watched the video several times."
Daisy urged Angelo, who got on the website and saw the latest video on it. It recorded how she taught a lesson about those four bullies.
"Angelo, your moves are so cool!"
Daisy said, kicking like Angelo in the video, only to lose her balance and fall onto the bed.
Angelo laughed and went to help Daisy up. There was joy in her eyes and light on her face, making her look more beautiful.

"I have been friends with you, and I've never seen you look so handsome."
Daisy stayed for a moment and then pinched Angelo's face with appreciation in her eyes.
She just felt Angelo changed a lot after the summer holiday, as if she was a different person.
"Maybe because I learned karate."
Angelo tried to change the topic. And it successfully aroused Daisy's interest. She asked why Angelo learned it.
They chatted for a while. When they got out of the dormitory, Daisy's phone rang.
"Hello?" Daisy answered the call.
But when she heard the words from the call, her face changed, and she just dragged Angelo to run.
"What's the matter, Daisy?"
Angelo didn't understand why Daisy suddenly became so anxious.
"I have a class under the Witch Susie. I can't be late."
Hearing that, Angelo understood. Witch Susie was Mrs. Susie, a French professor. She was a strict lady, hating others for being late. What was more, she called every name of the students. Students being late would get a low score. Daisy was a French major, and she had to study it for another year if she failed it.
Finally, the two arrived in the classroom before the bell rang. Just when Angelo was about to leave, Susie walked in.
After calling the names, Susie started the class by introducing the news students in French.
"Today, we have two new students joining us, Doris and Stella."
Looking at the two girls standing on stage, Angelo frowned. As she remembered, Stella studied law. Why did she change her major?
While she was thinking, she heard her name from Susie and was confused.
When Daisy became Angelo's only friend in the first year of college, Angelo asked Hale to transfer her to the French department. But she didn't pass the French test, so the transfer failed.

On the stage, Susie mocked that Angelo got into the French department because of the Thorne family.
Angelo was angry. She was good at French. So she just stood up, forced a smile, and asked Susie to test her in class.
Susie agreed because she heard that Angelo didn't study well since her first year of college.
"Don't be reckless, Angelo."
Sitting next to Angelo, Daisy pulled her sleeve. Everyone knew Susie was a strict and serious teacher. Anyone who dared to challenge her suffered her torture.
Angelo gave Daisy a look of relief and then took a provocative look at Susie.
Seeing that, Susie pushed her glasses up, asked Doris and Stella to sit well, and then asked a series of questions.
She talked fast, and the questions were so difficult that even some professors couldn't give perfect answers, let alone a student. So, everyone knew that she was trying to embarrass Angelo.
Everyone thought Angelo couldn't answer any of them when Angelo quickly answered with good pronunciation.
Looking at the shocked face of Susie, Angelo smiled and thanked Susie in French before sitting down.
The students started to whisper. And Daisy looked at Angelo in surprise.
"Have you been pretending you're not good at French?"
She used to practice French with Angelo before the French test. Angelo was quite bad at it then. She didn't believe she made such big progress in the summer. So the only reason she could think of was that Angelo had been pretending.
"Yeah."
Angelo knew that Daisy's words might be the only explanation, so she just nodded.
Standing on the stage, Susie stayed for a while and then looked at Angelo with a smile.
She praised Angelo and apologized for what she had said about her. Then she invited Angelo to be her assistant.
Angelo was shocked to hear that but then smile. There was indeed a reason for Susie being a professor.
"My pleasure."
As soon as Angelo finished her words, there was a great round of applause. Then Susie calmed the students down and started her teaching.
After class, people looked at Angelo with admiration. All the bad images she left in the first year were gone.
At this moment, Doris came to Angelo.
"You're amazing, Angelo," she said, and her face blushed like a red apple.
Seeing that, Daisy gave Angelo a little push.
"What's going on between you two?"
Daisy had read the news of the marriage between the Thorne family and the Taylor family. So, she thought there must be something between Angelo and Doris.

New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
