The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 704

Seeing Drake's indifference, Angelo was worried. The experience just now told her that Drake was the only one she could rely on.
She gritted her teeth, took two steps forward, pulled Drake's sleeve, and said with her head low, "I know it's all my fault, brother. Please forgive me."
After a pause, Drake put down the book and looked at Angelo.
"Come with me to meet Miss Doris tomorrow."
"What?"
Angelo stayed for a moment and understood that Drake wanted her to give up marrying Stella. No, she shook her head.
She had a plan about how she would use Stella for revenge. She couldn't give it up now.
"Brother, I will marry Stella for a reason. Please believe me. I'll explain it to you later."
She tried to explain to avoid falling out with Drake, who, however, sneered, "Because you love each other?"
While talking, Drake handed a photo to Angelo, then leaning back with his hands folded.
"You love her, but she just uses you."
That was the photo Nathan left here. Angelo had put it in her bedroom. How did Drake get it?
But it was not the right time for her to think about that. She knew Drake misunderstood her and tore the photo up at once.
"It's not what you think. I wouldn't say I like Stella. I will marry her for another reason."
Hearing that, Drake squinted and sneered, "It's your choice. It's none of my business. Go out."
Angelo dared not stay and quietly walked out.
Back to her room, she punched at the bed.
She was using Stella, but she couldn't tell anyone.
"Dame it!"
Angelo clutched her hair, feeling upset. But she knew well that she must get Drake's support, or she would suffer at the Thorne's, let alone revenge.

Just then, her phone rang. When she saw the name on the phone, she felt annoyed.
She answered it and heard Stella's soft voice.
"Listen to me, Angelo. I was irritated when I saw Abby seducing you. I never acted like that."
Hearing the words, Angelo's face was full of disdain. She knew clearly what kind of person Stella was.
Stella loved conquering the man she couldn't get. She knew that, so she didn't bother to control her temper and said with anger, "You know what kind of person you are, don't you? Abby has told me."
Then she hung up the phone, leaving Stella to think about them.
What she needed to think now was how to make Drake forgive her, only then could she smoothly carry out her revenge.
At the other end, Stella was furious after Angelo hung up. She knew Abby must talk bad about her.
She had planned to show her relationship with Angelo at the party, which, unfortunately, was ruined.
"Let's wait and see, Abby. I won't let you go easily!"
Stella clenched her fist, and her eyes were full of hatred, which shocked the new maid standing near her.
The following day, Drake didn't find breakfast on his table.
He was unhappy and asked the maid, "What's wrong with my breakfast? I told you I have to leave early this morning."
The servant was frightened by his anger and just kneeled on the ground.
"Mr. Angelo told us that you asked him to prepare breakfast. We dared not disobey him, so we didn't cook."
Angelo heard the noise as she was busy in the kitchen and shouted, "A moment, brother. It's almost done."
Last night, she thought of Drake eating up the breakfast she made before and decided to cook breakfast to flatter him.

The servants didn't dare to leave the kitchen to her without Drake's permission. But she told them that it was Drake's order.
Knowing what was going on, Drake became angrier. He looked at the time and told Hale, "Drive me to the company."
"But Mr. Angelo is preparing breakfast for you now?"
"Forget about him," Drake said, handing Hale a trunk.
He had an important meeting this morning, he couldn't wait for Angelo's breakfast.
When Angelo was done, there was nobody in the living room. She looked at the maid and asked, "Where's my brother?"
"Mr. Drake has left already," the maid said in an unhappy voice. She would not have been scolded by Drake if it had not been for Angelo. Since Drake didn't care about Angelo's cooking, she didn't talk to Angelo in a good manner.
After finishing her words, the maid went to the kitchen.
Angelo looked at the breakfast and then the back of the maid, feeling quite angry.
She plodded the breakfast down on the table, muttering in a low voice.
"I'll eat it myself!"
Angelo ate slowly and felt grieved. She got up at four o'clock to prepare it. It didn't please Drake, instead, it lowered her status at home.
When Hale was back home, he saw Angelo eating alone and had some sympathy for "him."
He walked to "him" and said after thinking for a while, "Don't blame Mr. Drake, Angelo. He has an important meeting this morning. He can't be late. Four hours later, he has to fly to France for a project."
"What? He will go abroad today?"
Angelo put down the spoon and looked at Hale in surprise.
She was eager to please Drake to save her place in the Thorne family. How could she do that if Drake wasn't in the country? No, she must follow with him.
She stood up and said, "Hale, book a ticket next to my brother. I'll go to the airport right now."
Hale hesitated and then agreed. He wanted to help this adopted kid.
"Thank you, Hale! You're an angel, you know,"
Angelo thanked Hale and hurried to her room. Soon, she found the passport, stuffed a few sets of clothes into her trunk, and went to the parking lot with them.
"What's the departure time of my brother's air ticket?"
She fastened the safety belt and asked Hale.
Hale looked at his watch and answered, "We have two hours."
"Can we get to the airport on time?"

Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.
