The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 673

To her utter surprise, Sean took Catherine to the ranch, where she met Sean. It was the place they first met each other.
"Do you remember this place?" asked Sean.
"How can I forget? It's been years since the last time I was here." Catherine only came here twice or three times since she was six. Her father took her here, but she didn't stay long every time.
Later, as her brother grew up, her father seldom took her here. He had a new family, and Maria and Samuel became his new priority.
"Hey, I think this is the grass where you screamed for help."
Catherine looked up as if there was a window. Inside the room was a little who was determined to draw the best painting for her father.
Sean looked at Catherine as memories started coming back. The daunting and kind little came to his rescue. Her eyes were round and big like two grapes. She had butterfly hairpins on her hair. For Sean, she was a nymph from the hills. He was attracted to Catherine at the very second. But he hardly expressed his feelings. So he didn't say anything to young Catherine.
"Hey, do you remember the lollipop?" asked Sean, "Close your eyes."
Catherine did as told and didn't reopen them until Sean said it was okay. Then she saw the same strawberry lollipop.
"You brought the same candy I gave you?" asked Catherine.
Sean removed the wrapper and handed it near her mouth, "Open up."
Catherine smiled, "It's so sweet."
Sean also took one. They looked at each other and smiled.
Sean held Catherine gently in his hugs, "Catherine, I'm so grateful I met you."
Without her, Sean might not realize how sweet love was.

"Me too. I have so much to thank for."
They were destined to meet years ago. Who could have imagined they could pick up from where they left.
Then Sean put a delicate crystal butterfly hairpin on her hair, "It's lovely."
The girl grew up and married him.
Catherine felt the butterfly hairpin on her hair. A glimpse didn't help her see what it looked like. She felt it wasn't exactly the same. But it was much better because it was made of crystal.
"How do I look?"
"Gorgeous."
Catherine smiled. It was the most beautiful smile he ever saw.
This ranch was where their love took place.
Although Sean and Catherine were kids, the seed of love was planted secretly in Sean's heart. It grew up and blossomed. It wasn't until then that he realized he was already in love with Catherine.
"Is the hair pin a token of love?"
Sean kissed her forehead and said lovingly, "Sort of. The real token of love was the butterfly hair pins you wore as a little girl. I've put them away."
Sean caressed her eyes affectionately. He was deeply grateful that destiny brought them together.
"It's getting late. Are we sleeping here?" asked Catherine.
"Yeah. I've booked us a nice and cozy room."
"Okay."
"I've meant to ask how you ended up here?"
"My parents took me, Antonio, David, and Iris out on vacation that year. I got out of my room, kept wandering, and got here. Catherine, will you stay with me for the rest of our lives?"
"Of course. We're married. I won't let another woman stay with you."
"You know I don't mean that."
"I'm teasing you, Sean, relax."
Sean and Catherine held hands and took a walk in the ranch. They sat down on the grass. Sean held her on his knees, held her waist, and kissed her.

"I know I couldn't forget you when you helped pull my foot out. You're quite a fool."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You didn't take any consequences into consideration. I mean, you could get hurt."
"But you deserve it. I know all about it. You traded money for Uncle Lawson's permission to give me to you. You wouldn't back down even if I was into Marco. And you went ahead to hold the wedding ceremony. I know why you did it. You must really like me, right?"
Catherine was humiliated to admit that she thought Sean had ulterior motives to be with her. But she couldn't figure out what. After all, her family wasn't as wealthy as Blair's. So what was he after?
"You can ask me," Sean said.
"Will you tell me the truth?"
"Not really."
"I know. You're just too proud to admit to it. But how can you be sure I'll fall for you? What if I did the opposite?"
"I have time. I'll make sure you fall in love with the right guy." Sean was confident because he was much better than Marco would ever be. Given time, Catherine would see what a man Marco really was and would forget about him. And Sean would be with her every step of the way. He was willing to wait.
Sean's eyes were as profound as the sky dotted with stars. Catherine could see the glistening light in his eyes.
Suddenly, he went down one knee, opened a red velvet box, and opened it. Catherine stared at the diamond on the ring and couldn't say anything. She was stunned.
Sean held her hand and put the ring on her fingers, "Catherine, you're the only woman I want to spend my life with. We'll hold hands until our hair is gray. Even if we have wrinkles all over our faces, I'll still protect you. I'll follow you everywhere, do whatever you like. We will share happiness and joy, and I will shoulder difficulty and burden. I just want you to be happy and carefree."
Instead of big words, Sean made common and warm promises. Catherine had tears springing up in her eyes, which were about to fall. She could imagine how they came back to the ranch holding hands when they were old. Sean would hold her as they walked slowly in the sunset. What a lovely picture it would be!
Sean kept saying affectionately, "Catherine, your business is my business. I'll help share your problems. No matter what hardship it is, I'll go through it with you. I wish the one with you is always me."
Catherine felt her heart beating in her throat. She knew Sean would never break any promise.
"Catherine, I love you. Will you marry me?"
