The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 664

"Why do you so mean?" said the girl.
Since Catherine broke her arms, her classmates hurriedly came over and accused Catherine of brutal and cruel behavior.
"I have to act first. Otherwise, I will suffer."
"Fuck!"
Everyone was surprised to find that Catherine was good at fighting, and she twisted the girls' arms down. They were so shocked that she had hidden skills despite her innocent appearance. No one had thought that she would be going to fight the bully.
Catherine smiled and said innocently, "by the way, I have learned Taekwondo for a few years. I am the best Taekwondo player in high school. Almost all students were scared when they saw me."
All the people looked horrible all of a sudden.
"Catherine looks gentle and weak. It is unbelievable that she had been a naughty and powerful person in school. But if we think carefully, indeed, she is not a good student. She didn't even get a high score for the College Entrance Examination."
The girl gave a fake smile, "Why not take her to the school clinic? I am afraid that she will faint because of the pain."
People felt pity for the girl. In their eyes, Catherine would be an elegant and graceful woman, but now they disagreed.
"Keep talking. It doesn't matter. I am waiting for you."
It was quiet. Since Catherine slapped the girl and broke her arms, all the people were terrified, and none of them dared to say something more.
Catherine touched her hair. The way she ran her hand through the hair looked sexy and beautiful though everyone thought she was cruel.
"I know you dislike me, but it doesn't matter. I can endure, and I don't mind teaching you a lesson. I hate hurting other people, but if someone dares to provoke me, then I won't spare her either," A clear warning added to her voice while blurting out her words.

The girl's face turned pale, and her forehead was full of sweat. Two of her classmates helped her walk away. When they walked through Catherine, they trembled in unison.
"You can make the truth public. I indeed attacked her, and I'll pay for the doctor bill."
Catherine gave five hundred dollars to the girl, "I think you know which dormitory I lived in. If it is not enough, come here to tell me. Don't be shy. You need money to cure your disability."
"She said I have a disability and I need to go to the hospital. Oh my god. It was she that attacked me. Do they think it is a good way to make it up to me?" the girl thought to herself.
Everyone had a bad impression of Catherine. They thought she was a cold and cruel woman.
Ethel showed great admiration to Catherine and said, "Cathy, you are crazy. But honestly speaking, you really did a good job. You know fighting very well."
Catherine raised her eyebrows and asked, "wanna have a try?"
"No. No. No. Enough."
"It is not hard to fight with a girl," said Catherine. She knew she couldn't fight with strong men.
"I believe no one dares to fight against you," said Ethel.
"Now, it is tranquil. I hate noises."
Catherine felt like having a long class.
As soon as the class was over, she received Sean's phone call.
"Go downstairs now," said Sean.
"Are you at the front of the teaching building?"
"Yes." His deep voice came in.
Catherine took the calculus class in the third teaching building.
From the third teaching building to the second building, it took about two minutes.
Catherine and Ethel were shocked when they were in front of the teaching building.

Many people were standing at the door, looking at the luxury car.
Catherine heard some male students were discussing the car and the license plate.
Ethel loved the car at first glance, "oh my god. It looks so beautiful."
Catherine didn't care about the car, but she was confused about why Sean brought the car here, "what does he want?"
"Ethel, let's go to the class. I am afraid we will be late."
"Don't worry. I want to see the man."
Ethel was attracted entirely by Sean. She couldn't hide her admiration for him.
Suddenly, the car window and the car door opened, followed by a pair of clean dress shoes.
Sean walked out of the car. He had slender and long legs and good figures.
Sean wore an Armani suit and a white T-shirt. He didn't wear a tie and unbuttoned the top button of the t-shirt so that his clavicle can be seen clearly.
Sean pursed his lips, wearing sunglasses, and making a fantastic hairstyle.
Since Sean was tall, he looked powerful even if he said nothing.
Catherine blinked and thought to herself, "what is he doing? Is he crazy? Oh my god. I know what he wants to do. I don't want to be the focus. I really want to go away."
People started to discuss Sean:
"Oh, he is handsome. If he can take off his sunglasses, it would be better. I guess he has beautiful eyes behind those sunglasses,"
"He looks super handsome though his eyes are covered." cried the other girl.
All the people were attracted. Male students kept their eyes on his luxury car, and female students paid more attention to Sean."
"Who is it?" One of the girls asked.
"Cathy, look! He is handsome."
Catherine was speechless. She keeps her mouth shut.
"I think he is prettier than Professor Blair. Most importantly, he is rich and powerful."
Catherine was silent.
"Why not say anything? Are you unhappy?"
Catherine looked embarrassed without saying a word.
Ethel turned around and asked, "Cathy, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
Catherine was astounded because she knew what Sean wanted to do.
Cecil looked at Sean carefully and said, "I think he is Professor Sean. Their height and outline look the same."
Anna nodded, "I agree with you."
Ethel was confused. She turned around and looked carefully, "Probably, you are right. Cathy, can you recognize your husband? Is Professor Sean?"

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
