The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 640

"Catherine Stewart, stop!"
Everything was packed. Elliot walked to Catherine and invited her to have dinner together, though she had already run away.
The louder Elliot's voice was, the faster Catherine ran.
Elliot was angry and thought to himself, "What's the matter? Doesn't she want to see me? Why? I am popular, and many girls love you, but she doesn't want to see me. Why?"
It was a real blow for Elliot. He couldn't believe Catherine hated him so much.
"Why do you run away?" asked Elliot.
He caught up with Catherine and grabbed her thin arms.
When Elliot touched Catherine's skin, he was stunned all of a sudden.
"Senior Elliot, what's the matter?" Catherine pretended to smile and asked.
"I had texted you. Do you receive it, don't you?"
"I saw it. But I am busy."
"Busy? You are a freshman, and you have no classes at night. What are you going to go now?"
"It is none of your business, senior Elliot."
Elliot was speechless and then shouted, "Have dinner with me."
"I have an appointment tonight."
"With whom?" asked Elliot angrily. He looked very terrible.
"It is none of your business."
"What?"
Catherine pretended to smile, but her smiling face was just like the sun for Elliot.
"I didn't promise that I would have dinner with you. What is in your mind?" said Catherine.
Elliot was an arrogant person. He thought Catherine would agree if he invited her.
Catherine thought to herself, "Elliot is so arrogant in front of girls, and few girls will refuse her."
"My roommates are waiting for me. I have to go."
"Catherine Stewart!"
"Let's talk when I am free. Sorry, I have to go."

Elliot thought to himself, "I don't want to force her to have dinner with me. It is cheap. I don't want to do that. Catherine did hurt my self-respect. No girls refuse me except her."
"Cathy, what did senior Elliot tell you?"
"Nothing. Elliot is full of himself. Just a kid."
"A kid?" three of them were speechless and thought to herself, "Elliot is older than us."
"Just a naughty kid."
Before rebirth, Catherine died in prison until she was 29 years old. Thus, although Catherine was just 19 years old, her mental age was more than 19 years old. She was mature, and she thought Elliot was just a kid.
"By the way, I have something to do. You can go back first," said Catherine.
"Have a date with Professor Blair?"
"No. Something else."
Catherine returned to the gym.
As she walked into the gym, Catherine saw Pearl, and Iris kept following Ken. Iris handed him water and a towel. Ken had no reactions, but people took up the chant.
Dale and Dave also stood there.
Catherine looked at them, wondering whether Ken accepted or refused Iris and Pearl.
Ken seemed to have not seen Iris as if she were air.
When Dale handed him a towel, Ken took it, wiped his sweat, and then turned and left.
"Good. As expected, Ken has the backbone."
Iris was the mayor's daughter and looked pretty. Her big brother was a respected figure in the army, and her younger brother was an important person in the business. Although she had a bad temper, people can benefit more if they make friends with her.
Iris was honored and popular. Unfortunately, she loved Ken.
Catherine didn't know the background of Ken, but she believed Ken must be poorer than Sean.

"Iris has good taste. Although she doesn't know how to choose good friends, she knows men very well. Ken must be a great man."
"Ken Hosk," shouted Iris.
Iris felt so embarrassed when Ken left, "Stop! Ken Hosk."
But Ken didn't stop. He kept moving forward.
When Iris wanted to add something, Pearl interrupted, "Ken Hosk. I have something to say. It is crucial. About your future."
Ken didn't turn around and said coldly, "I am my own boss. It is none of my business."
"Don't you want to have a better future? I'll give you an opportunity."
Few people stayed in the gym. Only Iris and Pearl were still there.
"Stay away from me. I want to say something to Ken," said Pearl.
Iris knew Pearl wanted to talk something to Ken about designers, so she just stood aside.
Dale and Dave went out and saw Catherine, asking, "You haven't left yet?"
"Yes. I have something to ask senior Ken."
Dale said with a smile, "Ken is lucky. As one of the most beautiful students from Kings College, you and Pearl all come to find him. And Iris also loves him too. How lucky he is! I wish I am as lucky as him."
Catherine smiled and said, "I don't love him. I have something to ask him."
"We won the game today. We are going to celebrate now. Would you like to go with us?"
"Thank you. I won't go with you. Have fun."
"Fine. We are leaving."
In the gym, Ken was looking at Pearl coldly, "I have nothing to talk to you about."
Pearl was peaceful and said, "You can get everything you want in Tylor Inwood, whether it is money or high social status. As long as you join us, you must be the director of design."
"I am not interested in it."
"Be patient. You don't have to refuse now. You study clothing design because you love it. Right? Do you want to design the most beautiful clothing, don't you? Of course, you can work for a small company, but it is not a good platform for you. Tylor Inwood is your best choice."
Since Tylor Inwood was in trouble, Pearl wanted to hire Ken as soon as possible so that Ken could make her company better.
Pearl knew Ken was intelligent, and he must be a great man in the future. Pearl didn't want to miss it.
"You haven't graduated yet, but you can work during vacations and weekends. Besides, I can also pay your tuition fee if you want to learn more."
All of the conditions that Pearl was able to provide were good and attractive. Since Tylor Inwood was a famous company and they were good at designing clothes, many graduates wanted to come here to work. However, Ken didn't care about it.
"No, I don't need," said Ken.
"I can give you anything you want. Just say it," said Pearl.
Pearl didn't believe Ken would refuse her and thought to herself, "He is just a junior student. It is enough for him."

A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey
Fang is a simple cat. Fang likes napping in the sun. Fang does not like being called Chairman Meow. Fang likes his belly being scratched for precisely 17.329 seconds. Fang does not like being punted between dimensions. Fang likes hunting and killing defenseless wildlife. Fang does not like mysterious blue boxes that appear out of thin air. Fang is having a Very Bad Day. A few things to note: Fang is a cat soul in a cat body, and that's not going to change any time soon. No cat girl evolution or possessed puppet or any of that. The slice of life tag is there for a reason. There is no epic tale here, only a cat doing cat things in a (hopefully) interesting setting. The game elements are pretty light, mostly there for flavor, so don't expect a huge amount of crunch. Nature is cruel, and cats are crueler than most.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
