The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 602

Catherine gnashed her teeth in hatred and looked daggers at Madison, Iris, and Pearl.
"I can't believe Iris and Pearl are so mean. They even set a trap for me. How evil they are! I must give them a violent blow. Since Madison and Iris are unreliable, I think no one can take place, and I have to perform," Catherine thought to herself.
Catherine knew she was not good at singing, so she prepared another performance.
Catherine thought to herself, "Pearl can change the programs, but why should I follow the rules? As soon as I can perform well, who cares what I perform?"
"Pearl, are you ready? Why not answer me?" A young boy held a microphone and said. He wore a shirt and trousers, and his hair was neat.
"Eliot, I am coming."
Eliot held a program list and frowned, "What? Did you add a program? Why don't you notice me in advance?"
Pearl said gently, "A friend of mine insists on performing. I have to add another one. Sorry."
"I don't prepare for it. You know how hard it is for me to make lines?"
"Never mind. I have written the scripts. I will deal with it."
Eliot stared at Pearl in anger, "I thought you should be reliable."
Pearl apologized, "sorry. It's my fault."
Catherine heard what Pearl and Eliot said. She turned to ask one of the students of the Student Union, "Is there a peacock costume in our university?"
"Peacock costume? I am not sure."
Catherine was speechless.
Later, the student added, "oh, I am surprised to find a white peacock costume a few days ago, but its master is gone."
"Could you please give it to me? I want to wear it for my show. I promise I will give it back as soon as I finish."

"Not a big deal. But I need to go to the warehouse to look for it."
"Could you please go to the warehouse with me right now? It is an emergency. Thank you."
The student was confused and thought to herself, "why not prepare a peacock costume in advance if necessary?"
"It is an emergency. The programs changed."
"All right. We need ten minutes to get back. Is it okay?"
"Wait a minute. I will lend a car."
Catherine lent two bicycles from the monitor and immediately ran to the warehouse in the office building.
When they arrived at the door of the warehouse on the fifth floor, Catherine received a call from Sean.
Hearing Catherine's breathless voices, Sean frowned.
Sean was silent while Catherine kept talking.
Catherine explained, "Pearl forced me to perform for the New Year party without my permission. She knew I couldn't sing very well, but she insisted on me singing on stage. Sean Blair, you should help me. Pearl treated me badly because of you.
"When does the party start?"
"Actually, it already started, and I am the performer of the fourth program. However, I still don't get my costume."
"Refuse her."
"It is useless. You should call Pearl and tell her what she should do. Whatever. I guess she won't listen to you."
Catherine thought to herself, "Sean is far away from my university, so he can't get there in time. Moreover, Pearl's family has a good relationship with Sean's family. That's to say; maybe Pearl doesn't care whether Sean is angry or not."
"What kind of costume do you need?"
"Since I am a dancer for the peacock dance, I asked a senior to look for a peacock costume for me. The senior told me that there is a costume in the warehouse, and she is looking for it."

Sean was astonished and thought to himself, "Can she dance?"
Catherine seemed to see what Sean was thinking about, so she explained, "Maria was a dance teacher and taught Sophia and me how to dance. But the time is limited. I have no confidence to make another choice. I can only try peacock dance."
In fact, Catherine hasn't danced for years and was unsure whether she could dance well. There was no time to practice more. Catherine was anxious to perform in such a short time.
"I would have asked Sophia to dance with me. However, I can manage to get one costume though I don't get it still."
Sean heard the noises while Catherine was looking through the box.
"Waiting for me."
"Would you bring a costume for me? It is too late."
Catherine knew there was no such kind of skirt and they had no time to buy a new one.
"I will be there soon."
"But..."
"Just wait," said Sean firmly.
Catherine thought to herself, "he seems to be very confident as if he were there right now."
"Okay. I will wait for you. I continue to look for the costume," Catherine nodded perfunctorily and then hung up.
When the senior got back from the restroom, she found Catherine was still looking for the costume and said, "have you looked through that box? I remember I put it in it."
"Let me see."
"I got it!"
As described, it was a white skirt with a peacock feather, but it was a little bit dirty. As the hem of the dress was stretched, it seemed that the peacock showed its tail.
"You can get there before the show?"
"Now, get back."
Catherine wiped the sweat on her forehead and then glanced at her phone, "It is seven-ten. I am going to dance."
Catherine picked up her phone. There was a call from Sophia, "Cathy, where are you?"
"A senior tried to help me find a costume. I will be back soon."
As soon as Catherine walked out of the warehouse, she found the power was out and said, "Oh? The power is out."
Sophia answered, "I would have told you. It seems that the power goes out all over the university."
"Really?"
Catherine looked around and found it was all black. Only a little light was burning around the party stage.
"It is good. I hope the power went out for the night so that you don't have to perform," said Sophia.
Catherine thought it had something with Sean and thought to herself, "well. I can't believe he can control the university power."
"Cathy, come with me first. It is a mess. We will go back to the dorm together."
"All right. But I will come to see you first."
Under the moonlight, Catherine and the senior get to the party site.
Catherine heard from one of the audience that the power suddenly went off when Pearl was announcing that the third program was going to start.
Later, Pearl told the audience to be quiet.
Cables almost tripped up Pearl.
"The party will keep going?"
"Who knows."
Catherine yawned, "I want to go to bed if the party's over."
"Waste my time. So many surprises. Alas, what a bad day!" Catherine thought to herself.
At that time, Pearl said, "wait. It is under repair. Ten minutes later, we will have power again, and the party will keep going."
Catherine frowned and thought to herself, "that is to say, I still need to perform?"
