The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 595

There were four classes in Catherine's major. Hunter had kicked up Sean a few times. But they were minor injuries and didn't hurt much. Hunter got up and was ready to fight.
Four men formed a line in front of Sean and checked on him, a young man with a strong presence.
Hunter was a serious and harsh man. His trainees were afraid of him.
But, Sean had the icy presence he was born with. One look from him would frost a man, and his domineering presence would give shiver to someone's spine.
"How should I address you, Sir?" Instructor Bennett from class three was a kind man. He was forgiving to his students and looked harmless.
Sean sneered, "Just fight me and cut the bullshit!"
"We won't get into a fight for no reason," Bennett said.
"Then fuck off and stay the hell out of business with him."
"We are all soldiers."
"Then join him."
"You have to give us a reason."
"What do you say?" Sean looked at Hunter harshly.
Hunter said, "Is this for Catherine?"
Hunter saw how Sean hugged Catherine, and their relationship must be special. So he figured it out at once.
"How dare you touch her?" Sean snapped.
Sean's look was intimidating. It was as sharp as a knife.
"I'm her instructor. She made a mistake and got punished."
"What did she do?"
"She talked back to me and didn't report to me when she left the squad."
"Really? But why do I feel like you're being hard on her?"
Hunter said, "Military instructor's orders must be obeyed during the training."
"She left the squad to take her friend to the medical room."
"She had to tell me first."

Hunter continued saying, "You're not a soldier and don't know the importance of orders. She has to listen to my order."
Sean said, "She's not your soldier!"
"She is now!"
"Don't use your bullshit on me. I've spent as much time in the military as you."
Hunter thought that would explain Sean's fighting skills and his firmness. He was more a soldier than any of them.
"Then you should know an order is an order!" Hunter said. He finally had something in common with Sean. He thought it would be easy to talk sense into him since they were both in the army.
"If an order is not reasonable and puts one's life in danger for nothing, that's not what I would follow. If you're asked to lead the army, you will fail."
"You!"
"People who're not involved in this, get out of the place!"
Sean didn't want to waste any time disputing. He'd rather fight and made the first strike.
Hunter barely dodged it. He tried to reason with Sean, but Sean didn't listen. His strike became more fierce, and Hunter couldn't take it.
Hunter had no chance of winning. Sean looked young, but he was very strong. Besides, he was in full rage and would kill Hunter.
"Stop it!"
Other instructors tried to break them up. But Sean didn't do anything. They had to watch as Hunter took steps back in a row and fell down on the ground.
He lost all the dignity being forced on the ground in public.
Hunter tried to turn over the fight, but Sean denied him the opportunity. Hunter credited himself as a good fighter. But he was beaten up so hard that he tasted the smell of blood.
The others exchanged looks and stopped Sean.

"We're sorry about this." Then they stroke attacks.
Sean didn't see them worthy as his opponents. He could fight three and kept the odds of winning.
Sitting in the car, Catherine got a little worried. She didn't know how good Sean was at fighting. But he was outnumbered. She wished he would just hit Hunter and leave the other three instructors alone.
The more Catherine watched, the more scared she was. She decided to get out of the car and came to Sean.
"Stop it!" asked Catherine.
They were too immersed in the fighting to notice it.
The instructors met their match, so did Sean. They were enjoying the fight. Although the instructors were not winning the fight, they found it thrilling.
"Sir, stop!"
Ethel sneaked to Catherine, 'Catherine, who is he? How dare he pick up a fight with Hunter? And he's so good. And I saw how he hugged you. Are you..."
Catherine didn't respond. She was focused on Sean in case he got hurt.
Sean saw Catherine with the corner of his eyes. He had to deal with the four in case Catherine did something.
Sean turned around and strode to Catherine. Frowning, he asked, "Who told you to come down?"
"I'm worried."
Sean picked Catherine up and came to his car.
The rest only saw the car driving off, and four men lying on the ground.
Ethel didn't know what to do. Would the training continue? But she was sure there would be consequences. At the same time, she was curious about Sean.
Since the instructors were hurt, the military training stopped for one day.
Girls were gossiping about the man that took Catherine away. They thought of Sean as a hot man.
Iris and Pearl, who witnessed the whole thing, didn't look well.
"I can't believe Sean fought because of Catherine," Iris said.
Sean rarely got into a fight as far as Iris could recall. His icy presence would drive others off.
"He's good at it," Pearl said.
Sean was beating the military instructors up solely to defend Catherine's honor.
"Sean was trained by grandpa since he was a kid. And he spent some time in the military. I think he's as good as my big brother."
Iris' head hurt at her equally indifferent big brother.
Pearl had mixed feelings. Sean never did anything for her, and he would not give her a look. But Catherine was in his heart. For her, he would act wild and do things he wouldn't .normally do
Iris suddenly grabbed Pearl's hand, "Pearl, Sean wouldn't know about what we did, right?"
Pearl frowned, "I don't think so. Hunter didn't know us. He thought that was an order."

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
