The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 564

"Done?" asked Leydon.
Leydon was still standing at the door and waiting for Sean. He hadn't known Catherine got injured before. But telling from Sean's expression, he knew it must be serious.
"Done."
As Sean and Catherine went out of the room together, Leydon stared at Catherine's wrist, which was wrapped with gauze again and again.
"I am so sorry about what happened tonight."
"It is okay. It is none of your business."
Leydon turned to Sean and asked, "Shall we go to the hospital?"
"It doesn't matter."
"I asked my servants to bring your clothes and wash them. They will send them back tomorrow."
"Okay."
Sean didn't mean to keep them, just a suit. But he wanted to get the tie that Catherine bought for him back.
On their way to the dining room, Sean and Leydon walked together, and Catherine followed.
"Probably, all the guests left. It is tranquil now," Catherine thought to herself.
"It is ginger-garlic soup. Drink a little bit," said Leydon. He was worried that they might have a cold though it was a hot day.
"Thank you," said Catherine.
She picked up a small bowl and drank it slowly and elegantly.
Sean refused to drink it. He didn't believe in the function of traditional Chinese medicine.
"Don't you drink it?"
"No."
"Although it tastes bad, drink a little bit to prevent from having a cold."
"I don't need it. I am healthy."
Catherine had Sean's words before he answered. She knew men dislike to show their weakness.
"Be careful. We will go back when you drink it up."
"Do my grandma and grandmother leave?"
"No, they are in the living room, waiting for you. I guess there is an interrogation coming soon."
Sean sneered.
Clara hurriedly went downstairs. As she saw Catherine already changed into clean clothes, she asked with concern, "Cathy, are you okay?"

"I am fine. Clara. Don't worry. Not a big deal. I just fell into the pond and drank some water."
"Not a big deal? You fainted, and brother Sean performed CPR on you. I was terrified at that time."
Catherine felt embarrassed and thought to herself, "CPR? Oh my god. How is it possible?"
Catherine pulled Clara aside and whispered, "Ahem. Did he perform CPR on me?"
Clara chuckled, "It is true. Many people were there. Moreover, your face was dirty, but Sean didn't care about it. He put you on the ground and performed CPR on you."
Catherine didn't know about it. She just remembered that she was in the pond and drank some water. And then, she fainted, and someone held her.
Later, when Catherine woke up, she was lying on Sean's arms.
Clara took out her phone and showed the photo that she took secretly and showed Catherine, "Look! Here is a picture."
The picture was clear. In the photo, Catherine's face was dirty, and her white clothes were dirty too. Sean was putting his lips on her lips, never showing a sense of dislike.
Sean frowned slightly, and his eyelashes got close to Catherine's face.
"He has a lovely profile. Oh my god. I love it!" Catherine thought to herself.
"He is very handsome. What do you think?"
"Yes. It is adorable."
Clara clicked her phone screen, and then Catherine's phone rang.
"I sent the picture to you. Keep it. I hardly saw brother Sean look so lovely. Does he touch you?" said Clara.
Catherine was happy and clicked the "save" button.
"I am jealous of you. I regret telling you. Alas."
"Hahaha. Clara, you are so cute."
"All right. Drink it up and go back. Look! Sean is staring at me."
Catherine put the bowl back to the table and walked toward Sean slowly.

Catherine felt that her heart beat faster and faster. She had never felt anxious when she saw Sean. Now, she felt anxious, and she was afraid that she would do something wrong.
"End the conversation?"
"Yes."
"You love to talk with each other."
"We are all girls. We can talk about whatever we like."
Sean gave a half-laugh, "I guess you were talking about me, right?"
"I saw you were whispering and glancing at me three times. Do you think I don't know about it?" Sean thought to himself.
"No. We talked about the girls' secrets."
Catherine's ear even turned red. She was embarrassed and turned to another topic, "Is grandma waiting for us? We should come to see her."
Thus, Sean held Catherine's hand, walking toward the living room. As they walked into the living room hand in hand, everyone turned to look at them, especially Pearl. She kept her eyes on their clasped hands.
"Are you okay? Come here. Quickly. Let me see."
Grandma looked at them carefully to check whether they were good.
She was relieved when she ensured that they were good.
Grandma thought to herself, "I must feel guilty if something bad happens in my house."
"Grandma, don't worry. We feel good. Since it is hot, falling into the pond is just like swimming. We are sorry for bothering you and wearing Leydon and Clara's clothes. We shouldn't make all of you worried."
"It is good to hear that you feel good. When I hear you fell into the lotus pond, I am terrified."
"Swimming? You can't swim and drank a lot of water," Sean didn't mean to criticize Catherine. He wanted to defend justice for Catherine.
Sean thought to himself, "I want to push grandma to think about it: Why did Catherine go to lotus pond? And why did she fall into the pond?"
"Since you can't swim, you shouldn't go there. Don't make trouble."
"Iris took me there, and she said that grandma and grandmother were waiting for me in the pavilion of the lotus pond. I had planned to find Sean to get there together, but Iris said Sean was there too.
Thus, I went there with her. However, when I got to the pavilion, I found only Pearl was there. So, Iris, Pearl, and I were there," Catherine answered in an injured tone.
Iris pinched the center of her palm with her nails, "No, you invited us to get there."
"Me? When did I invite you to get there?"
"Eight forty,"
Catherine was confused and turned to Sean, standing beside her, "Sean, when did I sleep yesterday? And how long did I sleep?"
Sean held her hands and said, "My sweetie girl. You fell asleep at 8 o'clock in my arms. You didn't even have dinner and slept. I took you to the guest room and left at eight fifty."
Catherine wouldn't invite Iris and Pearl to go pavilion because she had slept at eight forty, and Sean was by her side.
"I am tired. Sorry. I didn't pay attention to the time."
Iris' expression changed.
"Iris. You got the wrong time?"
Iris was speechless.
Catherine smiled, "I bet Pearl whether Sean will save me first if both of us fall into the pond. But I can't believe Pearl fell into the pond. The railing of the pavilion is quite high. She was so brave."
Pearl's face turned paler. Catherine made a good explanation.
"I fell accidentally. But I don't know why you fall into the pond too. For your bet?"
