The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 398

Isn't she pregnant? She doesn't look like it at all. She's even lost weight. It stunned him so much that he didn't know what to say for a while.
"Get out of my sight." Nathalia frowned at him and said impatiently.
She had become short-tempered and impatient. The effect of the pain of losing her love on her was too obvious not to be noticed. The deeper one was in love, the harder it was to lose those they loved.
On hearing Nathalia's weak yell, Nate realized that he had been looking at Nathalia in surprise. "I'm really sorry about Spencer. But life goes on. Nathalia, you are a strong person. I've heard that you are pregnant. Would you consider marrying me? I will take care of you and the baby." He said quickly.
Nathalia stared at him with a confused look. Her mind had been chaotic enough, and now it was even more puzzling. What nonsense is he talking about? Marry him? Why? Is he mental?
"What? Ridiculous!" An angry voice came from behind. Matt couldn't believe it. What's wrong with this guy? No one in their right mind would speak such nonsense!
However, Nate didn't even take a look at Matt. He kept his eyes on Nathalia and said with confidence, "It's awful to think about a child without a father. Life will be much more difficult for the child and for you. I promise you that I will treat him or her like my own child; I will take good care of both of you..." He said it with such sincerity that Nathalia found it impossible to comprehend.
She looked at him with a puzzled frown.
Now Matt was worried. He interrupted immediately, "Nathalia, don't listen to him. This is nonsense. It's ridiculous. I mean, look at him. You can't take him seriously. You can't trust him." He knew Nathalia well and knew that she didn't really care much about herself, but she might say yes simply for the sake of the baby.

Nate put on a sincerer and more serious look and defended self-righteously, "I mean everything that I said. I mean it, I swear."
Everyone was still trying to figure out what was going on there. Nate Morgan, the son of the powerful Morgans, is asking Mrs. Nathalia Davidson to marry him! And he does look serious about it.
But Mrs. Nathalia Davidson is pregnant with Mr. Spencer Davidson's baby!
And Mr. Matt Davidson is trying to interfere as if someone's taking his wife away from him.
But look at Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, she's acting like it has nothing to do with her.
All was too sudden and too confusing.
Matt glared at Nate and said sternly, "I disagree! The baby belongs to the Davidsons! He or she is a Davidson!" What's this guy doing? What's his intention? He's Nate Morgan. If he wants a wife, there will be thousands of women lining up to marry him, but Not Nathalia!
Nathalia looked away from both of them and remained quiet.
Now Nate was annoyed by Matt's interference. "Hey, Matt Davidson, I know you've always coveted your sister-in-law! Don't use the baby as an excuse..."
"Shut up! Asshole!" Matt was furious and threw his fist at Nate, who reacted quickly and dodged the punch.
"Alright, you want to fight! Come on then!"
The two got into a fight, and the bodyguards stood aside, watching closely, ready to offer a hand when needed, but it seemed to be an even fight.
Nathalia said quietly, "Let's go." She turned around to leave, with no interest in watching them fight or stopping them as if they were strangers to her.
Nate caught sight of Nathalia leaving and shouted, "Hey, Nathalia! How can you just leave like that? We are here fighting for you, and you don't even care. You haven't answered me yet!" She's acting like she has nothing to do with us, weirdo.

Yet, he himself was probably the real weirdo.
Nathalia didn't turn around but replied casually, "I suggest you go to see Dr. Brown on the 3rd Floor."
"Huh? Why?" Nate was confused. Just then, Matt threw a punch on his nose, and it hurt him so much that he refocused and fought back.
"Dr. Brown will give you my answer," Nathalia said impatiently and left.
Both Nate and Matt were speechless. So were the bodyguards.
Dr. Brown on the third floor? Nate wondered why and later found out that it was the doctor that specializes in mental illness. His nose hurt terribly after the fight. I forgot that guy used to be a police officer! He was well trained! He cursed.
Since then, Nate had been very persistent and went to Nathalia's every day, shouting outside, "Nathalia! I mean it. I'm serious. The Morgans welcome you anytime. Our door is open to you."
"This will be much better for you and the baby. Let go of the past."
"You won't need to worry about the future at all if you marry me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
"Marry me, please, Nathalia, for the sake of the baby and yourself."
Sophie, who had been staying with Nathalia, was getting really irritated. "He's so annoying! What's wrong with him?" She said angrily.
Nathalia was reading books on baby nursing quietly. "Just ignore him." She said calmly, appearing not to be bothered at all. I can't guess what his intention is at all. I might as well just leave it.
Not long after Nate left, the bell rang again. Nathalia wondered who it could be this time. It could be news about Spencer! She jumped up and went to the door. It was Curt.
He sat opposite Nathalia, looking serious. "Nathalia, there's something I need to talk to you about."
A bit startled, Nathalia said, "If it is about Nate Morgan, don't worry about it." There was only one man she loved, and she would never marry anyone else. She wasn't worried about her future or the baby's future. She believed that she was independent, and she was capable of creating a bright future for both of them.
