The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 375

Seeing the content smile on Nathalia's face, Zoe nodded and said lovingly, "I'm very happy that you enjoy it, and I shall let Paul know. He will be pleased."
"Thanks, Zoe." Nathalia said gratefully, "And Mum." Sue turned to look at her and nodded.
Nate was actually curious now, seeing how much Nathalia loved the food. He, himself, was rather picky, especially about the ingredients, and that was why he rarely ate out. He wanted to try it and see if it was really so tasty.
"Can I have some, please?" He asked.
Nathalia looked at him, alert, remembering how he stole her drink at the party. She didn't speak but kept her eyes on him.
"Can I have some, please? It looks like you really enjoy it, and I'm curious to try." Nate asked again.
Mrs. Davidson found Nathalia's reaction amusing, though impolite it was. "Please don't mind her. She's a spoiled one and very protective of the food she loves."
Mia finally got the chance to speak and added, "We will happily prepare it for you whenever you feel like dining at ours, Mr. Nate Morgan." Nathalia is an interesting character, indeed. She thought.
Nate didn't really want it much at first, but now seeing how unwilling Nathalia was to share, he felt like he had to try it. "Thanks." Nate replied without looking at Mia, but kept his eyes at Nathalia and said, "But I would like to try it now."
There wasn't much left, and Nathalia hesitated. She didn't want to share it, but she didn't want to be rude, so obviously either.
"Err..." Mia had no idea what to say now. He is another interesting character. Actually, he and Nathalia are quite similar. They were both very elegant and assertive, but when it involves something they want, they can be so impulsive and even childish. "Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, food is better shared, right?" Mia said meekly.

Sue was reminded of the night when the whole family dined together and prepared food for them. Though Nathalia was very hungry that night, she was very considerate and made sure everyone else had their share first. She's acting completely different tonight. She thought. "Zoe, please prepare one more plate."
Zoe wasn't sure how to think about it. Mrs. Sue Davidson doesn't seem to be annoyed. I wonder if she has forgiven Mrs. Nathalia Davidson.
The chef was very efficient, and before long, another plate of spicy grilled shrimp was placed on the table. It was presented delicately and smelled wonderful.
The servants distributed the shrimp to everyone. Nate forked one up, observed it for a bit, and put it in his mouth.
"Hot!" He said suddenly, frowned bitterly, and fanned his mouth with his hand frantically. He felt like his mouth was burning, and his nose and eyes turned red as tears filled up. He was obviously not used to spicy food.
Mia handed him a glass of cold water, and Nate downed it immediately. It took awhile for the heat to die down, and he felt a bit better, though his eyes were still a bit red.
He had tasted cuisines from various countries and knew very well about food, but he had never tried anything as spicy as such.
Nathalia covered her mouth and tried not to chuckle. Ha-ha. You asked for it. Enjoy!
"This is not food at all. I don't understand how you actually enjoy it!" Nate said in frustration.
"Ha-ha. See, I didn't want to share it with you, but you insisted. I knew you wouldn't understand its beauty. What a waste!" Nathalia retorted cheekily and grinned happily.
Mia couldn't help liking the innocent and childish side of Nathalia. She is playful and cute.

Nate pouted his lips, unwilling to give up, he forked another shrimp and gave it another try. He struggled to keep his eyes open as he chewed the food. He felt the heat traveling through every vein and every cell up to his head and down his throat to his stomach. He managed to swallow it this time and even pretended to be enjoying it.
However, his red nose and teary eyes betrayed him. Mia watched painfully. "Mr. Nate Morgan, would you like some more water?" She asked pitifully.
"I'm alright." Nate rejected. He could hardly feel his tongue anymore. He thought now he had tried it properly and could leave the rest without feeling defeated.
Yet, Nathalia provoked cheekily, "Don't be so hard on yourself, poor Mr. Nate Morgan. I'm happy to take the rest of yours."
Mia was speechless. Wow, she's not an easy one to deal with at all. Now I understand why the Berry sisters were utterly defeated. Even Nate Morgan is not an exception. I'd better keep my mouth shut.
As Nathalia expected, Nate was provoked and retorted instantly, "Why? I actually enjoyed it. It's not bad. I like it." His words were not convincing at all, especially with his nose still red. But stubborn as he was, he couldn't let Nathalia win.
Nathalia chuckled with no comments. Sue shook her head slightly and smiled. He's a child still, just like Nathalia.
Mia managed not to laugh and offered to help, but Nate rejected without hesitation. "I can finish it myself."
So he kept his words and struggled through. His mouth was burning, and his stomach was on fire, but he managed it luckily.
Nathalia turned around and said to Zoe, "Would you please get Mr. Nate Morgan another plate. He likes shrimp, and food is better shared."
Nate stared at Nathalia in disbelief. "Nathalia! Come on! Don't be mean." He exclaimed angrily.
Nathalia looked at him with her big and innocent eyes and said cheerfully, "Well, you said you enjoyed it, so I want to share more with you. I'm not mean. I'm kind and generous. Oh, you can have some take away as well." She grinned.
Nate rolled his eyes at her speechlessly.
Seeing Nate's helpless look, Mia had to cover her mouth and not laugh out. Poor Mr. Nate Morgan! Sorry, I can't help you. She's Nathalia Davidson!
Nathalia picked up her fork again and went on eating delightfully.
Sue knew that though Nathalia loved spicy food, she could sometimes get an upset tummy if she ate too much. Concerned, she passed the plate of salad to Nathalia and said gently, "Some salad will be good for your tummy."
