The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 358

The news about the flights between the Berry family and Nathalia was all over town, and Wendy could easily guess Nathalia's concern.
"We shall." Nathalia agreed though it wasn't because of the Berries. She simply found it too noisy amongst all the people and their gossips.
It was a rather secretive spot on the balcony, quiet and peaceful, decorated with pots of flowers.
Just as they opened the door to the balcony, someone exclaimed, "Shit!"
Following the voice, Nathalia looked to the corner and saw a couple making out on the lounge chair. The girl was quickly pulling her dress down, blushing terribly. But the man was facing them with his back.
Nathalia chuckled. She was rather surprised and even pleased to see them. "Oops. Sorry to interrupt you guys, but go on." She said cheekily. Ha-ha. What a great party!
Wendy and Nathalia ignored the couple, facing them with their back, and stayed at the balcony.
The man got up, tidied his hair, and said. "Shouldn't you respect others' privacy, Mrs. Nathalia Davidson?"
Finding the voice familiar, Nathalia turned around and recognized the face of Steve Walken. It's been a long time. Nathalia thought. "This is not your private territory, is it? Are we not allowed to stay here? We don't mind you making out here. If you are bothered by us, then go somewhere else."
Steve shook his head at Nathalia, thinking so Nathalia. He defended righteously, "Well, we got here first..."
"So what?" Nathalia cut him short. "It's not private. Anyone is allowed." She tilted her chin up, with no intention of backing away at all.
She's been spoiled surely. Look at her, holding her chin up, talking to me like that. Steve thought and then recalled how much Nathalia had to suffer when he just met her. He teased, "Look at bossy Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, acting like she's the boss when her Mr. Davidson is away."

Nathalia grinned proudly and said, "I Am the boss. It doesn't matter if Spencer is around or not. He lets me do what I want."
Steve heaved a sigh and gave up arguing with her. "He's spoiled you too much."
Nathalia rolled her eyes at him, "He likes to spoil me, and I like being spoiled. Perfect."
"Alright, alright. By the way, how's Mrs. Davidson?" Steve compromised and changed the subject.
"She's fine. But if you do care, why have you never visited?"
Then, Nathalia remembered Wendy standing behind her. She turned around to see a calm face. It was difficult to tell if Wendy was upset to see Steve or not.
"I thought she doesn't allow any visitors," Steven answered with a frown. "Hey, you can be a bit nicer to me, Nathalia. I haven't done anything wrong to upset you, have I?"
Nathalia pouted her lips and retorted, "I just don't like to be nice to you. You have a problem with that?" She tried to act annoyed, yet her delicate figure and soft voice weren't cooperative.
Steve found it amusing and tried not to laugh out. He held his hands up and surrendered, "No problem at all, your majesty. You can treat me whatever way you like."
The girl standing behind Steve opened her eyes wide, finding it unbelievable that Steve Walken was acting this way in front of a woman.
"Good. You are forgiven this time." Nathalia kept her chin up and waved her hand at him in a dismissing gesture.
Steve rolled his eyes speechlessly.
"Ha-ha," Wendy couldn't help it and finally burst out chuckling. "Oh, poor Mr. Steve Walken. How pitiful! Ha-ha." She had to admit that she was really impressed by Nathalia's capability in handling Steve.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Steve heaved a sigh and said, "I'm only compromising for Spencer's sake."
"Come on. That's so lame." Wendy had no pity on him and went on teasing him for a while.
Seeing how the two interacted, Nathalia heaved a sigh of relief. She was actually a bit worried that Wendy was hurt from breaking up with Steve.
The girl behind Steve said timidly, "Steve, are you not going to introduce us?"
Lolita Smith used to be a waitress at a café, and she met Steve rather randomly. Her colleagues were all very jealous of her, saying she was Cinderella in real life and she had upgraded to a rich girl from a humble waitress.
She was overwhelmed in the beginning, and as she gradually grew used to her new life, she wanted more and more, and of course, she had learned that she had to keep her position as Steve's girlfriend safe.
Like most people, Lolita recognized Nathalia and Wendy straight away. One is Spencer Davidson's wife, Steve's friend's wife. The other is Steve's ex-girlfriend. I should be cautious. She thought.
"Nah. It's unnecessary." Steve frowned slightly and said casually.
Lolita looked hurt. What does he mean? Am I just a secretive lover? I'm his girlfriend!
Steve seemed a bit displeased. They had apparently agreed that it was just a deal between them. He would give her money to spend, and she would please him. Greedy women. I hope she doesn't think we are in a relationship.
Just then, someone exclaimed, "Aha, what an excitement. One man with three women. Ha-ha." Finding the comment very unpleasant, everyone turned to the door and saw Kelly Berry looking at them with an arrogant look.
What is she doing here? Shouldn't she be enjoying people kissing her ass at the party instead?
"I beg your pardon?!" Wendy retorted instantly, feeling annoyed.
"Hello, superstar!" Kelly sneered at Wendy, "How much are you for one night? I wouldn't mind paying you as a present for a friend..." Her arrogance enraged Wendy.
Wendy glared at her and retorted, "I'm afraid you can't afford it!"
Intentionally, Kelly fondled the crown on her head and said, "Pray, tell, how much?"
Though Wendy loved money, she had her principles, and she hated to be insulted. "One billion." She said clearly and confidently.
The sneer on Kelly's face froze. "Wendy Allen, do you actually think yourself worth that much? Take a look at yourself in the mirror! One billion! Huh, you don't even worth a dime. Don't you think so, Nathalia Davidson?"
