The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 343

"Well, I will be living in two places." He looked at Nathalia with a grin. Of course, he couldn't just let her move out and not see her for days. A day without her would feel like something was missing inside him, and the long nights would be unbearable.
Seeing his bright smile, Nathalia compromised. She shrugged her shoulders and let him. They didn't move into the studio, but back to the apartment they used to live in. They knew the place well. It was safe and close to the campus and the studio. The bodyguards and two maids also moved in with them.
Spencer divided the week into three days with his mother and four days with Nathalia, which he quite enjoyed, especially the private time with Nathalia. Though Mrs. Davidson complained now and then, she couldn't really stop Spencer from seeing Nathalia.
As always, Nathalia knew how to enjoy life and live it meaningfully. Apart from classes and handling some work at The Trend, she had been visiting the new studio. The interior work was almost done, and she was excited to get the books, flowers, and everything else ready.
Sophie heard about the new studio and was so excited about it that she had to go and check it out.
"Nathalia, are you really opening a studio café?" She asked excitedly, looking around. She loved books and flowers herself. Perhaps I can come and work here! She thought happily. Nathalia is so smart! She's just a student, but she's got two companies and now a studio!
"Yeah. Do you like it?" Nathalia smiled.
"Of course!" Sophie exclaimed. "I'm here to help? What can I do?"
Nathalia was pleased to see the innocent smile on Sophie again. It seemed the kidnapping incident didn't affect her too much, luckily.

"Alright, can you please help clean the shelves over there?" Nathalia grinned back at her.
"No problem!" Sophie rolled up her sleeves and got down to work delightfully.
There were three floors with the first floor as a flower shop, the second as a book shop, and the third was a café with a spacious balcony.
They two chatted and giggled as they were busy setting up the place. When Nathalia went to the storeroom to get the mop, Spencer rang and said he would come to pick her up later for dinner. Nathalia hung up with a sweet smile.
As Sophie was cleaning the shelves alone on the first floor, someone came in. "Sophie?"
She turned around.
"It is you! I thought I saw you. What are you doing here?" Matt asked, looking surprised.
"Oh, Matt! How..." Sophie was so excited that she stammered. Though she had told herself that it was impossible to be with Matt, she couldn't help feeling nervous and excited whenever she saw him.
With his jacket in his hand, his hair a bit messy from the wind, Matt looked more amiable than usual. "Oh, I just finished work and was having a wander in the neighborhood. I thought I saw you from the window and came in to check. What are you doing? Do you need a hand?"
"Oh, that's so kind of you. It's alright. I'm just doing some cleaning here, setting up the place." Sophie smiled happily. She was so pleased that Matt actually came in to say hello and even to talk to her and offer help.
"Well, these look a bit heavy. Let me move them for you." He rolled up his sleeves and volunteered to help. He moved the shelves steadily as Sophie directed him. She was all smiles, with sparks in her eyes.

Just then, Nathalia came out from the bathroom and saw the two working busily. She rolled her eyes, wondering what's going on here? When did he show up?
Since the death of Amy Berry, Matt had been accused as the cruel man who abandoned his fiancée, and it was the most discussed topic in town. Nathalia had not seen him for a while, but she read about him in the news occasionally.
Sophie clapped her hands and said to Matt, "Nice. Thanks." Then she turned around to see Nathalia standing behind them and grinned at her, "Nathalia, I think were done here. Shall we clean the second floor?"
Matt looked as if he was surprised to see Nathalia. He waved at her and said, "Oh, hey Nathalia. You are here too!"
Nathalia lifted her eyebrows and said casually, "Hey Matt. It's ok. I will do it another day. Take a break, and I will buy you two dinner in a bit."As soon as she said it, she regretted as she just remembered that Spencer was to come and take her out for dinner. He won't be pleased to see Matt here. Shit. What shall I do now?
"That will be great!" Matt exclaimed happily. Just as Nathalia thought Sophie would be so excited to accept, Sophie replied, looking a bit concerned, "I'm sure Matt's very busy. Let's not take his time."
In fact, Sophie wanted to spend as much time as she could with Matt, but she remembered the lesson from last time and had learned to be more cautious.
Nathalia heaved a sigh of relief secretively and thought, nice one, Sophie. Yet, Matt responded quickly, "Why? I'm not busy."
"Huh?" Sophie was a bit taken aback. She hesitated a bit and said, "Err. You have just finished work. You must be tired. We shouldn't take up your time." It's better not to be close to him. He will never be my man, anyway. I should be a bit more realistic. I'm content just to see him now and then.
Both Nathalia and Spencer were surprised. Nathalia couldn't help wondering, this is a big change! Well done, Sophie!
Matt frowned and said, "Sophie, are you suggesting that I should leave?" He sounded astonished, and a bit hurt.
Sophie panicked and shook her head immediately, "No. No. Of course not. I was just wrong..."I just want to be safe. What happened was such a tragedy. I don't want it to repeat.
Just then, a few people hurried into the café and started taking photos. "Wow! It is Mr. Matt Davidson!" one of them exclaimed. "Fancy meeting you here! Isn't it Amy Berry's funeral today? Aren't you attending the funeral?"

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!

Bone And Amber: The Inside Story On The Return Of The Dinosaurs
A miracle has been achieved: non-avian, Mesozoic dinosaurs have been brought back to life - not by a technical university or a government programme, but by a venture capitalist concern, for reasons of profit. The social, economic, and political ripples of this development will do much more than enable the simple launch of a theme park for the rich: they will change the world. FAQ: Do I need to know anything about the Jurassic Park franchise to enjoy this? No. This story is not exactly a Jurassic Park fanfic - it is a story about the de-extinction of Mesozoic dinosaurs. While the story begins with some of the events depicted in the Jurassic Park universe, it is very much its own creature, and designed for readers with no prior knowledge of the franchise. It will begin to diverge quite quickly, as well: the dramatic focus will not be on people running around tropical islands trying to be eaten. The whole point of the exercise is to explore the profound consequences and ripples an event like the mass-cloning of extinct animals would generate.Do I need to know anything about dinosaurs to enjoy this? Also no! Sensing a theme yet? Although, if I’ve done my homework correctly, a newbie to the subject will be able to pick up something - not just about the animals themselves, but about their role as a vehicle to better understand the history of life on Earth, and the application of the scientific method to a sadly fragmentary puzzle.Without further ado, please enjoy!

"EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings.
