The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 254

Holding Spencer's hand, Nathalia said with a smile, "Let me introduce you. My good friend, Sophie, and her mum, Lisa." Then she looked at Spencer bashfully and said, "This is my husband, Spencer."
Lisa had seen Spencer many times on television, but this was the first time she met him in person. She noticed that he looked even better than on the screen. There was an air of elegance and confidence about him. He seemed much less distant than he would usually appear on TV.
Not having encountered anyone of such fame and importance, Lisa couldn't help feeling a bit nervous, let alone Sophie, who was standing behind her mother. Sophie still hadn't managed to eliminate the wall she built between herself and Spencer yet. To her, Spencer was someone to keep a distance from.
Spencer seemed to have noticed and taken the initiative to break the ice. "Nice to meet you, Lisa. May I call you Lisa? Or do you prefer..." He said gently with a warm smile.
Lisa was rather overwhelmed by his humbleness and politeness. "Lisa is fine." She nodded instantly. "Nice to meet you too, Spencer." And replied with a smile.
Then she added, "Our Nathalia is a good girl. You are lucky to have married her." She understood that it was for Nathalia's sake that Spencer was being nice to her. The rich boys that were born with a silver spoon in their mouths were normally arrogant and not easy to get along with.
Sophie tapped Lisa's arm gently and whispered, "Mum" to remind her to be careful with what she said. She took a glance at Spencer and was relieved to see that Spencer wasn't irritated at all.
Spencer knew that Nathalia cared for and respected Lisa very much. He was grateful that Lisa had helped Nathalia.

"I am true. And surely, I will love her and take care of her." Spencer said and pecked a kiss on Nathalia's forehead. "Please sit down. Would you like some wine?"
"Yes, please." The tension seemed to disappear slowly. "Here, let's have a toast to Nathalia and Spencer," Lisa said delightedly.
"And to thank you. Thank you for taking care of Nathalia, for loving her like your own daughter, for helping her through the hard times." Spencer added sincerely.
Lisa was almost in tears, so were Sophie and Nathalia. "Cheers."
"Cheers!" everyone echoed. Lisa felt so relieved and happy for Nathalia. My poor kid, she's finally got the happiness she deserves. I can see that he really loves her.
Lisa went on for a little while like a thoughtful mum, telling Spencer and Nathalia to look after each other, respect each other, and love each other. Lisa and Spencer listened, kept nodding their heads in agreement, and exchanged a cheeky and understanding look.
Later on, Spencer came up with an idea and suggested, "I've heard that business is going very well with The Trend. Lisa, you must be a great manager."
"Oh. I can't take all the credit. It's your smart wife. Nathalia knows the market very well. Every design she's made sold out. Also, the news about you two, the dramas, you know, has helped too. And, well, of course, the staff really work hard." Lisa said humbly. As a successful manager, she had taken every aspect into consideration. She was very well respected amongst her staff, yet what she lacked was ambition.
Spencer took a glance at Nathalia when Lisa mentioned the news about them and got a cheeky wink. "I've noticed that The Trend mainly targets middle-class consumers. I wonder if you are interested in exploring a different market, which will very likely take the company up to a different level."

Lisa was very open to discussing it with Spencer. She understood that though she was managing the company, Nathalia was the most important shareholder and investor. Ever since she started managing the company, she had gained financial stability. They had moved to a new and bigger house, and Lisa was planning to save some more money for Sophie to study abroad and her future expenses. If it was good for the company, it was good for them.
"I am very interested. Pray, tell." She said sincerely.
"There are two options, both targeting the high-class market. One is to produce limited quantities, and the other is to change to customization, only producing based on request and custom, which is very popular nowadays." Spencer narrated clearly. There were always people with money, and the market was there.
Nathalia smiled and nodded in agreement. Lisa was tempted. "It sounds great, but the problem is how to build our name." She had started to think about expanding the company to be the top in the industry, yet she hadn't thought of a way.
Spencer grew up in a family that was a business tycoon, and he had started learning business and management since he was little. Indeed he had a way.
"There's an excellent opportunity coming if you would like to take it," Spencer said confidently.
Lisa's face lit up. "Surely."
Spencer took Nathalia's hand and said, "Nathalia and I are going to have our wedding ceremony soon, and we will need customized wedding dresses, suits, and that. The guests will be people of great importance, if you want to call it that way, from all over the world, so you can imagine..."
"That's a brilliant idea!" Lisa exclaimed excitedly. It was possibly the best advertisement ever. However, Lisa then hesitated and said, "But we might not be able to handle it. We don't have much stuff, and there's limited time..."
Nathalia smiled and said encouragingly, "We aren't afraid of challenges, are we? Especially now that we have such a great opportunity."
It was indeed an incredible opportunity, one in a million.
"Exactly. Any help you need, I can provide staff, funds, just say." Spencer added optimistically.
"If you both say so, then let's do it." Lisa felt much encouraged, with the help of the Davidsons, there's nothing to worry about.
The three of them were talking excitedly while Sophie sat and listened quietly. She didn't really understand their conversation. I feel like I have so much to learn. Nathalia's at the same age as me, but she knows so much.
"Mum, it will work. Don't forget, we have Nathalia, the smartest girl." Sophie supported. She believed in Nathalia. Nothing's really a challenge to Nathalia.
"That's because I have my guardian angel bringing me luck." Nathalia winked at Sophie with a smile.
Nathalia has got pretty much everything she wants, despite her terrible family. She now has a husband who loves her so much. She's so happy, and I'm happy for her. Sophie thought.
"Are you being picky again?" Spencer asked gently, noticing that Nathalia was picking some of the food out of her plate.
Being caught, Nathalia grinned at Spencer cheekily. "I'm picking it out for you. I know you love it."
Cheeky thing. Spencer thought. "Don't you remember what the doctor said? Huh?" He said, pretending to be serious.
