The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 250

The car pulled over. Spencer got out of the car, went to the other side, and opened the door. A pretty girl came out, her hand in Spencer's. They both shared a content smile.
In a black suit, Spencer was looking smart and charming as usual. He's tall, and a slim figure stood out. Nathalia was wearing a black and white slim dress with a red shawl. The intimacy and closeness between them were shown obviously in the way they held hands and the way they looked at each other.
They were such a beautiful couple. The crowd gazed for a while in silence, amazed by their wonderfulness.
"It's Miss Nathalia Carter. What a beautiful couple." One journalist exclaimed.
"Did you go on holiday together?"
"We did," Nathalia answered with a sweet smile.
Spencer and Nathalia had been open about their relationship, showing up together in public, and everyone could tell they were in love.
"Where did you go? Did you have a good time?"
Amy murmured sulkily, "What a show-off! Huh. Disgusting." Though her voice was low, Nathalia heard it clearly. It brought a sneer on Nathalia's face.
Intentionally, Nathalia raised her voice and said, "Amy Berry, how have you been since our last encounter? You were crying and begging to marry into the Davidsons then. If I remember correctly, Mr. Curt Davidson was rather shocked by your behavior..."
Everyone picked up their ears and listened curiously. All turned to look at Amy, awaiting her response.
"Nonsense. You are making things up." Amy snapped angrily. Nothing good happens when she's around. Shit.
She didn't really want to mess up with Nathalia again, yet she couldn't help it. Anger was taking control.
"I'm making things up?" Nathalia smiled mysteriously, "Am I? Ha. Well, I'm sure the journalists are all very clever, and they know how to find out the truth. By the way, it was a rather interesting story." She glanced around the crowd, who were alert and curious.

Amy's jaw dropped, shocked by Nathalia's wickedness. She was trembling with anger. Seeing that she would probably start barking again, Matt interrupted. He said gently, "Spencer, Nathalia, welcome back. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I was a bit worried that you couldn't make it to Dad's birthday party."
It was Curt's fiftieth birthday in ten days, and a grand party was to be held.
Unlike how he reacted a few days ago, Spencer was now calm. "It's my father's birthday. Surely, I will help arrange it and attend. I'm his son. I can't leave it to a stranger, can I?" He questioned sarcastically.
Matt understood what Spencer meant. He looked upset but didn't comment.
The crowd watched attentively, exchanged looks, and wondered what was going on between the two brothers.
"Mr. Spencer Davidson, what do you think about your brother being part of the family and taking over the Davidson E-Net Group?"
"It's none of my business," Spencer said coldly and clearly.
It shocked everyone, including Matt and Amy. He was unusually calm.
"Hmm. You sound displeased." A journalist finally voiced himself.
Matt interrupted instantly, "I bet Spencer is tired from traveling and would like to have some quiet time now. Perhaps you can ask him another time."
He's a considerate brother. Some thought. He's avoiding the question. Some guessed.
Spencer sneered and thought, let's see how long you can act and pretend.
"I don't need to respond to those nonsensical questions and rumors." Spencer said clearly to the crowd, then turned to Nathalia and said gently, "Babe, shall we?"
"We shall." Nathalia smiled at him, lovingly.
"Mr. Spencer Davidson, don't you think you are a bit unkind. We understand that it's not easy for you to accept your brother, but that's the truth, and one can't avoid..." someone shouted from the crowd, hoping to stir things up. Yet, to his disappointment, Spencer totally ignored him.

"My handsome husband, Mr. Davidson, I'm thinking of some delicious French cuisine for dinner. What do you think?" Nathalia said cheerfully as they left the crowd behind. There was a great French café near the company, which Nathalia dined at rather often.
Husband? Huh. She's such a show-off! Amy heard Nathalia and thought bitterly. She decided to take the chance and insult Nathalia.
"Nathalia Carter, you are only engaged to Mr. Spencer Davidson. Don't you think of yourself as his wife yet! It's still too early, don't you think?" She said defiantly.
The crowd didn't think much about it, but it could be something to write about. They waited.
Suddenly, Spencer stopped, turned around, and held up Nathalia's hand and his left hand, showing their wedding rings, and said clearly, "Nathalia and I are married." There was an undeniable look of happiness on his face.
Everyone's jaw dropped, gasped in astonishment. It was silent for a few seconds, then Matt spoke, "Really? When...when did you...?" He looked shocked and upset.
Spencer smiled and said proudly, "Nathalia and I got married in Vegas just ten days ago." His face was radiant. With Nathalia leaning in his arms, they looked like a couple of happy newly-weds.
It shocked everyone. "Ah. No way! Spencer is married?!" Someone exclaimed.
"No. No. No. I can't believe it."
"It can't be true."
This is the biggest news ever. Spencer Davidson is married! He's still so young! He doesn't look like a family man to me.
That's crazy. I didn't think he would ever get married. At least not at such a young age.
The crowd was still trying to process the news.
"Yes, we are married, and we are happily married. We are both serious about it, and we want to spend the rest of our life together." With one arm around Nathalia's shoulder, Spencer announced merrily. He said every word clearly and sincerely.
Matt gazed at Nathalia, who was looking at Spencer lovingly. He felt a lot of emotions growing and stirring inside him, his eyes filled with tears as thoughts and memories flashed by in his mind.
The crowd exchanged looks of doubt and bewilderment. "This is too sudden."
