The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 240

Curt slapped the desk angrily and shouted after Spencer, "Don't you dare walk out on me! Damn it..." The only response he got was the echoing sound of the slamming shut door.
"Spencer is outraged this time. I shouldn't have accepted the offer." Matt sighed.
Curt could never handle Spencer. They were too alike, both brazen and aloof. "Don't worry about him. He will be fine soon. Have you resigned from the police office yet? Don't forget to hand in the letter to the chief yourself."
"Yes, dad. I will." Matt nodded, still thinking about Spencer and what he said about his mother.
Nathalia was surfing the internet when Spencer returned home. She turned around to see his furious look. "Spencer, what happened? You alright?" She asked worriedly.
Spencer took her hand and said, "Come with me."
"Where are we going?" Nathalia followed, confused, but Spencer didn't reply. She stopped him, embraced him, and said gently, "It's ok, honey." She patted his back tenderly. Her ear on his heart, she could hear his heart beating fast, then slowly calm down.
Seated at the vice pilot's seat, looking down from the window of the helicopter, Nathalia could see the lights of houses and streets twinkle beneath.
She didn't know that Spencer could fly a helicopter and professionally. He was certified. Watching him maneuver skillfully, she was charmed.
"It's beautiful here. Where are we?" Nathalia asked excitedly. A light glistened in her eyes.
Spencer smiled and said, "Las Vegas."
"Las Vegas!" Nathalia exclaimed. "Are we going to gambling?" Everyone knew what Las Vegas was known for, as an internationally renowned major resort city. It was nicknamed the Sin City, known primarily for its gambling, entertainment, and nightlife.
"Possible," Spencer replied casually and swiftly landed the plane on the rooftop of a five-star hotel.

They checked into a presidential suite with a master room, a guest room, two spacious bathrooms, a conference room, and everything needed. It was pure luxury. The most special thing about the suite was the hundreds of red and white roses placed around the room, and the candles lit to create a romantic atmosphere. They were Nathalia's favorite flowers, the passionate red, and the innocent white roses.
The room service was super. After a delicious dinner, Nathalia went for a bath. The fragrance of lavender essential oil soothed her mind and body. Lying in the bathtub, she felt relieved and let her mind wander.
There was a knock at the door and in came Spencer. He squatted down next to Nathalia by the bathtub. "Babe, how are you feeling? You have done soon?" he asked gently.
Nathalia opened her eyes slowly and replied with a smile, "I'm feeling great. Yeah, I'm just about to get up and dress. Can you please...?"
"Why? I've seen you naked a million times. I know every part of your body." Spencer lifted his eyebrows and teased her cheekily. He had seen, touched, and kissed her all over. He knew very well where her sensitive parts were. He probably knew her body better than herself.
Nathalia blushed. She tapped his chest gently and whispered shyly, "Alright. Alright. Will you leave me or not?" She was still too shy to get up naked in front of him.
Every night, they made love more than once, only except when Nathalia was on her period. Even when he took her to the bathroom in his arms to shower afterward, they would end up caressing and love-making again in the shower.
Unexpectedly, this time Spencer left Nathalia to get dressed. Nathalia was a bit taken aback but didn't think about it much. She got out of the bathtub, dried herself, and put on a bathrobe.

Spencer came over with a hairdryer in his hand when Nathalia seated herself down by the dresser, putting cream on her face. He dried her hair gently, stroking it, and watching her in the mirror affectionately. I love it. I didn't know it's such a nice thing to do. He thought to himself.
Nathalia took a glance at him and noticed that he was no longer angry. All she could see on his face was love and affection. She smiled happily.
Spencer turned the hair drier off, stroked her head, and placed a kiss on her hair. "Done. Would you like to get changed now?"
He took out a dress from the closet and put it on the bed. Then from the drawer, he withdrew a delicate jewelry box.
"Get changed? Are we going out?" Nathalia was a bit puzzled.
"Yes, babe. Do you need my help?"
Though curious, Nathalia didn't ask. "It's alright. Just give me a few minutes."
It was a floor-length red crepe dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, beautifully designed with exquisite details.
Nathalia rarely wore red, and she felt a bit awkward, thinking it was too bright. Yet when she saw herself in the mirror, she could not deny that red was a great color for her. It was mature and passionate, just like her beautiful self.
The accessories went perfectly with the dress. The crystals sparkled under the light.
"Stunning. I knew it would suit you perfectly. Do you like it?" Spencer exclaimed. Nathalia had no idea when he came in.
Nathalia nodded and turned around to see Spencer dressed charmingly, leaning against the door. A dark grey suit with a red tie to match Nathalia's dress.
"I do very much. And I love how you look. When did you get this dress? I didn't even notice."
"An hour ago. They just delivered it. Oh, I forgot to show you." Spencer thought of something, took Nathalia's hand, led her to the closet, and opened the door. "Here, all for you." Beautiful dresses, outfits, bags, and accessories were neatly placed in the closet.
Nathalia didn't have time to pack anything when Spencer took her to the helicopter suddenly. She was just wondering that she needed to do some shopping. Yet, Spencer had everything ready for her.
It's love. He's so considerate and has got everything ready for me. Nathalia thought gratefully.
Driving through the bustling streets, with colorful neon lights gleaming around, Spencer felt excited and nervous. Nathalia looked out of the window and enjoyed the ride. There was an exciting feeling about being in a new place.
"Here we are." The car came to a stop.

Live by the Sword
--Follow a bandit prone to making poor choices in life. He lives in a somewhat medieval age where steel is king, blood is shed fairly lightly, and weakness gets you punished fast. But that's okay. As long as he has his sword, he'll be fine. Right? --This story is tragic and contains some depictions of violence and nudity. The attitudes of the characters don't represent my views and some of them are highly questionable. Due to these reasons, I've flagged the story as adult content. --I've been working on Live by the Sword since as far back as 2012 and it is my first actual effort at completing a book. Maybe I'll stick with it and there will be paperbacks of it some day. Who knows. Either way, I hope the words I tell give you amusement and perhaps some cause to think. Cheers.
