The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 187

The shop assistant didn't complain verbally anymore but cursed and despised Amy silently. Just an arrogant, spoiled rich girl. Huh.
Nathalia watched Amy in disdain. That's horrible. She's got a problem. Is Matt really going to marry her? Thinking of the gentleness, kindness of Matt, Nathalia found it such a shame that he had to be with a girl like Amy. It's probably his mum's idea.
Mrs. Davidson was outraged to see Amy's behavior. "You have no manners at all. Why the hell did you do that?"
"Huh! Don't you dare to take anything from me! This is what you get!" Amy lifted her chin up and said triumphantly.
Mrs. Davidson's face had turned red with anger, and her body was shaking. I've never met a girl so rude and outrageous!
Nathalia put her arm around Mrs. Davidson's shoulder and comforted gently, "It's alright. It's just a dress. Let's not get upset because of someone meaningless. I will ask our designer to tailor a better one for you."
On hearing so, Mrs. Davidson felt much better. "A better one? Will you promise me?"
"Of course. We'll leave this CHEAP one to MISS BERRY. You deserve better." Nathalia assured her like assuring an injured little girl while mocking Amy Berry intentionally.
Amy barked, "What do you mean? Are you saying that we are cheap?! How dare you!" Then she turned to Nancy for help, "Nancy, won't you tell Mr. Davidson and he'll teach her a lesson?"
As the youngest girl in the Berrys, Amy had been spoiled by her father and brother all her life. She would only hide her arrogance when Matt was around.
Mr. Davidson? Mrs. Davidson frowned.
"Nathalia Carter, don't you think that you can do anything just because you have Spencer on your back. Spencer's father, my husband, won't agree to you marrying into the Davidsons. You aren't qualified." Nancy said proudly. Ever since that night, Nancy had remembered Nathalia and hated her.

Nathalia's heart sank. Shit. It's happening. Can't we avoid it?!
"Your husband? Who's your husband?" Mrs. Davidson glared at Nancy.
Thinking that she had now got them scared, Nancy kept her chin lifted victoriously and announced, "My husband is the president of the Davidson Group, Curt Davidson. We are the wealthiest family... "
Slap, slap.
Mrs. Davidson stopped Nancy with two sudden slaps on her face. Nancy was too shocked to react. She stood still for a few seconds to comprehend before she threw herself at Mrs. Davidson, screaming, "How dare you to hit me?! Bitch!"
Before Nathalia could react, the two were on the floor, one pulling the other's hair and one, the other's clothes. Everyone gasped, watched in shock.
"Stop. Stop." Nathalia shouted, trying to stop them, but the two were inseparable.
"I'm going to call the police!" Nathalia finally yelled helplessly.
"Don't!" The two chorused, paused to look at Nathalia, who quickly winked at the assistant to indicate her to help separate those two.
Seeing the bruise at the corner of Mrs. Davidson's eyes, Nathalia was almost in tears. "It must be painful. Let me take you to the hospital." She said gently.
"No. I'm not going to the hospital." Mrs. Davidson said sulking.
Amy glared at Nathalia while soothing Nancy. "I've called Matt. He will send them to jail." Nancy was in a much worse state, her face swollen, some hair missing. "He'd better do. I won't let them off. See what she did to me!"
Nathalia's head was in violent pain. She tried to persuade Mrs. Davidson to leave, but Mrs. Davidson refused and called Spencer instead.
This is getting out of control. What can I do now? What a mess! Nathalia thought worriedly.
Matt came running in. As soon as Amy saw him, her face lit up with adoration. "Matt! Oh. It was so terrible. See what they did to your mum."

"Matt. They beat me. Oh. It's so painful." Tears filled Nancy's eyes.
"What happened?" Matt asked immediately, seeing his badly hurt mother. Aren't you two out shopping? How did you get into a fight?
Nancy glared and pointed at Nathalia and Mrs. Davidson. "They beat me up!"
Matt was naturally upset and angry for his mother, but as he was about to reason, he saw that it was Nathalia, and instead, he said, "Nathalia?"
For a little while, he had forgotten where he was. All he could see was Nathalia, her beautiful presence. He hadn't seen her for a long time, and he had missed her terribly. He worked harder and harder every day to occupy his mind, to not allow himself to think of her.
Awkwardly, Nathalia smiled and said, "How have you been, Matt? I heard you were working abroad. Have you been busy? Was it hard? And by the way, I didn't hit your mum at all."
It's been a long time since we last met. He's been very kind to me. It's a shame that we can't even be friends. Nathalia thought.
Matt was delighted to see Nathalia, yet at the same time, he couldn't deny the pain in his heart. She's grown more and more beautiful, confident, and elegant. But her beauty is not for and not because of me.
Amy noticed the unusual reaction on Matt's face. "You know each other? Matt, you know her well?" she asked impatiently.
Nancy pulled Matt's shirt rather aggressively and said, "Matt, what are you standing here for? They beat me. Do something! Take them to the police station."
Matt couldn't help smiling bitterly. It's impossible that Nathalia would hit someone. She never causes trouble as long as she can avoid them.
"Mum, let me take you to the hospital," Matt said softly. Nancy replied with a scream. "No! Take them to the police station first!"
Matt kept his patience and asked again, "Mum, tell me, what actually happened?"
Amy had a feeling that things were not going the way she expected, so she jumped in, "This girl here wanted to take the dress that Nancy likes. She's so rude."
Matt looked at the torn dress on the floor, sighed, and said, "Is that it? But why is it torn?" That's strange. Nathalia's got The Trend, and as far as I know, she doesn't go out shopping for clothes for herself.
