The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 117

It was chaos in the court. One was either in a fight or trying to stop a fight. The judges couldn't take it anymore. What a merciless father! Any man would love to have a daughter as excellent as Nathalia Carter. However, Frank Carter seems to hate his daughter to death. What's the secret behind?
"Silence. This is the court, not your house. Mr. Carter, please watch your manners."
Just then, the forensic doctor came in and was shocked to see such a chaotic scene. What's happening here? This is the courtroom? It looks more like a war zone.
The chief judge spoke loudly, "Doctor, please examine the wounds on Frank Carter's back." The doctor arrived at the perfect time. The way to settle things down now was to have the proof. The doctor followed the instruction while the court guards just had Frank and Zack under control.
Frank was soaked in sweat from fighting. As soon as he heard what the chief judge said, he was furious and worried. "Respectable judges, please think twice. Are you sure you want to be on her side?" Aren't they scared if they cross me?
One of the judges hesitated, looked at the other two judges, and the three of them muttered something. Before long, they had reached an agreement. The chief judge said sternly, "We are simply doing our job. If Mr. Carter wants to make a complaint about us, go ahead."
They didn't have a way to retreat now.
Nathalia Carter had the proof, as well as the support from somebody. Though one would not normally disobey Frank Carter, this time, he was at a disadvantage.
Ann and Evette had both realized the seriousness of the situation, and they wanted to interrupt but was stopped by the guards. They could only shout to defend themselves.

Nathalia held her hands around her waists, watched in silence, and thought everything's going as planned.
While the guards held Frank's hands, the doctor took off Frank's top to show a totally healthy body with not a tiny mark of injury.
Everyone had the answer. The truth was revealed. It was the very first time in his life that Frank Carter had felt so insulted. He cursed everyone in the court and wished them dead. All of you mother-fuckers! I'm going to kill you all one day!
Having realized that there was nothing they could do now, Ann closed her eyes, let out a long sigh, and wondered how did it end this way? We had put on a good show. How did it get found out? All this effort had turned to nothing!
The doctor followed the procedure and made his announcement, "Respectable judges, no wounds are found on Mr. Frank Carter."
There was nothing more to be said. The judges had a brief discussion and sentenced. "10% of Frank Carter's shares belong to Nathalia Carter."
Frank slapped the table furiously. "This is not over yet. I will appeal to the Supreme Court!" he yelled.
The chief judge replied confidently and instantly, "Please do it within 15 days then. We don't wait." What a joke! Everything's clear. There are proofs. He is still trying to deny it. And if he wants to complain about us, there's no way he can do it!
The first battle. Victory. Nathalia thought to herself, relieved.
Though Nathalia had won the court case, she knew very well that there were more battles to come, and the road wouldn't get easier.
Now the cunning Frank Carter had learned to be more careful, which meant it would be more difficult for Nathalia; however, there was no giving up. There was no retreating.

The sun shone through the window and fell on Nathalia's hair, like golden fairies dancing around. A touch of gentle warmth was added on her fair skin. A smile adorned her face. She looked incredibly beautiful.
Frank glared at her, his eyes red with anger, like a vicious, hungry wolf. He barked, "Nathalia Carter, don't you think you have won! I never lose."
Nathalia turned to look at him, the smile remained on her face, and said casually, almost with a bit of cheerfulness, "Let's see."
This was only the start of the battle. More was to come and crueler it would be.
However, she wasn't afraid. She was not even scared of dying, then what else could scare her? It must be horrible for them to see how they slowly lose everything they have. She thought, and she looked forward to seeing that.
Evette felt like something had got stuck in her throat, and she had to let it out. "Slut! Bitch! Don't you think you have won? No one can steal what belongs to us. One day, you will be on your knees, begging for our mercy."
Nathalia took a glance at her. When one gets angry, even beauties turned to beasts.
"It's pathetic, but enjoy your daydreaming," Nathalia said and stood up to leave.
"Sean, can you please let the public know the details of today's case in case someone spreads fake information again?" Nathalia instructed Sean politely.
What a great idea! Nice one. Nathalia Carter. Smart move. Sean thought, impressed. "No problem."
Frank's face turned pale. Bitch! What is she doing?!
"Nathalia, do you really want me dead? Huh?" He yelled at her.
Nathalia kept walking without turning around. "You made me do it. Please remember that everything has a reason. This is your karma."
Once again, Frank realized his daughter, who cared the least about anything, was the most challenging opponent he had encountered. However, he had lived longer and known more than her. He wasn't afraid either. "You little devil. Wait and see."
No matter what he said, Nathalia went on walking and left the scene behind.
Within an hour, the recording of the case was uploaded and watched by millions. People were shocked to see what happened. Who would have thought that was the truth? It was terrifying to even think about the mercilessness behind.
The Carters had once again lost their reputation, especially Frank Carter. How he had treated his own daughter for the sake of 10% of the company shares was unbelievable, as well as the dirty trick he set up and how he ignored the benefits of other shareholders.
The recording was released by the court, and no one would doubt that it was fake or edited.
Frank went back to work as usual. Though no one accused him, the terror and disdain in their eyes said everything. They poked into Frank's heart like needles.
The shareholders now worked together as a team, defending their own interest against Frank, while other companies were demanding an explanation and a reason to trust the Carter Company again. Frank was exhausted.
He had never thought he would fall into the trap he set up himself. He had lost the shares, as well as the trust of others.
When it was time to finish work, he didn't want to go anywhere, finding the disdainful looks unbearable.
