Harry Potter: Blood Of The Dragon Chapter 249

*BOOM*
The blast was very loud and scary. Magnus could only imagine the damage that must have occurred outside.
He turned to look at Moody, "Call Ministry Aurors quickly to organise the people in the station. I am going to take a look outside, if we can help people then we obviously should."
"We will help too, Mr Pendragon..." All of a sudden a few students came to him. Their faces looked frightened but still showed some strength hidden inside.
But, the most shocking thing was that all of these were seniors of Slytherin house. There were about 5 of them, all of them were the ones that were completely on Magnus' side of ideology.
"Us too..." A few more wizards came forward from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Magnus felt warm in his heart, this was exactly the change he wanted to see in the magical community. To come together during the hour of need.
"Brilliant. Make sure you do not break the statute of secrecy. At most, secretly use magic to lift the rubble of people who are stuck inside. If you use magic, do not worry about the Ministry coming to punish you, I will deal with them. Remember, we must save people if they are in a problem, the emergency services will take some time to reach here. Follow me." he led them out.
On his way, he saw Grace and Adam. "Ragnar, you lead mum and dad out to their cars. The muggle guards must be going crazy there."
Moody followed behind, saying he needed to oversee that everything is done subtly and they don't end up creating more trouble than helping. Emma and Severus also followed.
They went out the same way they entered. As soon as they arrived they were greeted by a few people running away while some screamed. There wasn't anything destructive, but Magnus knew that whatever happened must have happened at the main terminal and not the platforms.
"Follow me." He led everyone against the wave of people trying to run and save their lives.
Crossing a few platforms, they arrived at the main terminal. Magnus' heart shuddered to see the condition. He didn't know about the damage the bombs did but there was a huge fire ravaging the building, people screamed in fear and some in pain, some tried to jump from the upper floors of the building.
"Everyone, I am going to cast a notice-me-not charm on all of us. We will use the Aguamenti charm and summon water. But remember, our focus is not to stop the fire, instead it's to save people." He commanded and moved ahead.

At the same time, Ragnar led Grace and Adam out from the side. The MEDA wizards were along with them so Magnus had no fear for them.
They divided themselves into small squads and started to quash fire. They saved a few people on their way. The building had collapsed from some parts.
Magnus felt bad for the people. They had nothing to do with the land dispute between the two countries, yet they were the ones being hurt and losing their lives.
~If I can't force this senseless violence to stop, no company will think of investing here, and neither will the economy grow. Hmm... Good, I can use myself this time. That they attacked the royal family, as we were present here. As long as their top leaders know they messed with Merlin's descendent, I'm sure it'll have some effect.~ he thought.
There were a few people dead, crushed under the rubble. Some died in the fire. Magnus didn't let fellow students focus on the dead and instead found those still alive.
In the middle of the whole operation, Magnus disappeared for a small time. He went towards the exit of the station and continuously chanted point-me charms. He was looking for the attackers and he had a feeling they were not far away. They were most likely running away.
Magnus was already under charms so nobody would notice him. He took out his small expansion pouch that was his emergency pouch as well. He took out his broom and zoomed into the air.
Continuous point-me charms were creating a light that showed the direction. Magnus found himself following the road heading out of the city. After 4 minutes of flying at full speed, he finally saw a taxi cab moving a bit faster than the other cars. And the charm was also pointing at it and following.
~Huh, not today.~ he muttered coldly.
"ACCIO BOULDER!" He summoned a decently sized boulder. He had to use his both hands to hold it. Then he went a few metres ahead of the approaching taxi cab.
~Let's see if my time and distance calculations are good.~ He muttered and dropped the boulder. It was only 20 kilos heavy, but falling from this height would cause damage worth many times the weight.
The boulder fell, the car kept on moving. The road ahead of them was empty, so they pushed it. "Haha... we did it... mission succe...*BOOOOM*"
Nothing, nobody spoke anymore, or they couldn't. All of a sudden something fell from the sky and directly caved in the roof of the car. Inside the car were three men, but they didn't seem very good, their spines were most likely broken and bodies squished in ways unimaginable.

The drop was so hard that even the road was broken by the boulder. It was not Magnus' intention to harm them, but the 3 men sped up, causing the boulder to fall on the roof and not the engine. However, before leaving, Magnus left a note saying, "Criminals of King's Cross Blast."
Those in the police with even an ounce of backbone and brain could quickly recognise them. The whole city was looking for these attackers, and one of the leading bombers seemed to be a famous one. Magnus still called Tom and told him about this accident and their identity. Tom would now rush to the place and arrest them, taking the credit. Though it will be tough for all to explain how the boulder fell from the sky.
In the coming years, this will become one of the unsolved mysteries of the world, just like the Bermuda triangle. Though some scientists would say it came from space and some religious people would say it was a punishment from god.
Magnus had no idea what happened there after he left. The three wouldn't get away with the crime that was for sure. He returned to the station secretly and joined his friends again.
At the station, they worked for an hour, and by then the emergency responders had started to take over. Seeing this, Magnus told everyone to return to the platform. This way, they silently saved the people and left. Not even wanting to take credit for it.
Most of them were tired, with the exception of Magnus and Moody. The train had still not left yet, how could they? But a few more teachers had arrived at the station and made sure every student sat inside the train.
Professor McGonagall had arrived too, as the deputy headmistress it was her job to ensure children safely arrived at the school. When she saw the tired and dirtied students, just coming in from the magic wall, she couldn't help but secretly feel proud.
She longed to see the day when students from all four houses would come together and do something good for once.
All of them had some ash on their faces, some had their robes torn from places. This was the proof of their hard work.
"Professor, it seems the train is going to be late today." Magnus greeted her.
"It's okay, Mr Pendragon. We can use magic to reach on time... in fact, reaching an hour earlier would be wiser, since some of you may need a bath before the 1st years' sorting ceremony." She said thoughtfully.
"Actually, it'd be better if you just took us dirty ones before the rest, this way those 1st years won't have to wait too long and have their sorting ceremony lose its charm," Magnus suggested. He could already imagine a few 1st years falling asleep in the grand hall waiting for their sorting to start.
She agreed to this and organised the teachers to take the students who participated in the rescue to the school with apparition. Of course, they could not enter the school directly, they'd just appear outside it.
Magnus, Ragnar, Emma and Severus also arrived soon after. They quickly went to their dorms to bathe and get fresh. Meanwhile, the train would come a few hours later.
"HEY! Sev, what are you doing standing under the shower? It's been 10 minutes already." Magnus called him out in the shower.
Severus, as if just woke up from his sleep, looked around. He quickly washed his face and came out. "Nothing, I was just relaxing."
"Let's go then, I haven't eaten the lunchbox mum had packed for us four." He enthusiastically went to the Great Hall.
Emma also came right in time from her dorms and followed them. She was still having an adrenaline rush, "I can't believe we just became heroes. We saved people. I don't know how to explain this feeling."
Magnus chuckled, "You'll get used to it."
"Especially when you're around this bad luck charm," Ragnar added.
