Harry Potter: Blood Of The Dragon Chapter 239

Corleone House, New York
Michael Corleone had returned to New York City to finally turn his family business legitimate. He had realised that there was not much future in the illegal business. The law enforcement agencies were becoming more advanced and deployed various means of snooping on them. He also feared for his children and regretted his past push into the criminal world.
He was growing old now, nearing his 60s. And he wanted to leave a good legacy behind for his future generation. So, he left the illegal operations to Joey Zasa and Don Altobello, while he himself looked after the real legitimate business, trying to push himself up in the society and mingle with the legal business people.
However, today he received an unusual request. He was staying in his apartment when his assistant informed him of a certain individual wanting to meet him. His chief financial advisor, B.J. Harrison, told him everything personally. He sounded excited but also cautious.
"But I don't run the mob business anymore. Then why does he want to talk to me?" Michael wondered.
"He wants to buy a lot of properties and land in New York, Mr Corleone. Maybe because we still head the commission, he wants to deal with other hands through us." Harrison guessed. Even he had no idea in reality.
*Sigh*
"Just when I think I have left everything from that life in the past, someone comes and reminded me of it. Reject their request. I have other things to do." Michael decided on a spur.
B.J. Harrison, however, tried to persuade him, "Mr Corleone, I recommend you meet him, if you want to truly go legitimate, you need the friendship of this Brandon Steel Armstrong. He is only a teenager and already one of the greatest minds and richest people in the world. However, whom you should really focus on is the hand behind Brandon."
"Who is it?" Michael asked with interest, guessing it must be big if it got Harrison acting like this.
"The childhood friend and the backer of Brandon is the British royal prince, Magnus Grant Emrys Pendragon. He is the owner of Dragon Holdings, although he maintains a low-level farce so normal people think the company is run by a few directors. But, there is an even bigger identity of him that is secret from the world.

"He is the inheritor of Merlin, the wizard. He is already known as one of the most powerful and smartest wizards alive. He's very popular in the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry too. So, Magnus is someone you really want to be friends with, because he has the power to just wave his hand and make all the mafia families or any enemy disappear from the world." Harrison explained, sounding like a fanatic fan of Magnus.
Michael fell silent. He was the Godfather and of course, knew about this secret society hidden in the world. It was a crazy revelation for him at the start but he thanked God that these magical people had no interest in their normal world.
But, he had always tried to stay away from the wizarding world because it was something he could not control. If he makes an enemy it will cause too much loss to him, as even a single angry wizard could kill a lot of his men.
"Okay, tell them to come here to meet me. I just hope I won't regret this decision." Michael decided with a sigh.
...
Magnus' Mansion,
*BOOM*
"AH, MY WAND!" Ragnar cried in annoyance.
They were testing the magical grenade they had created. Ragnar was the test dummy of course. They did mock battles. The grenade looked very futuristic because of alchemy and runes being used.
When it explodes, it creates a loud noise as well as sparks. This would make the enemies turn to look at it, then the grenade would release disarming charm in all directions. Because of everyone looking at the grenade, all will lose their wands easily.
However, it would've been useless if it stopped there. So after collecting all the wands like a magnet, it will burst into flames, destroying the wands.
Ragnar used fake spare wands to test.
At the same time, Magnus was tiredly sitting in the other room. Someone had to charge the bombs with the disarming charm after all.
"ARGH... I didn't mean this when I said let's make a weapon." He grunted in a bad mood. Having to put disarming charms on the empty grenades. For each grenade, he had to send out 50 Expelliarmus charms, and it was exhausting for even him.

"THIS IS IT! 20 grenades should be enough for now. I don't have any more energy left." He breathed out and fell on his back.
*BEEP BEEP*
He took out his phone and checked, it was an SMS. The latest feature in the new mobile phones. It was going to be launched at the end of the year.
"Bobby is at New York, I wonder how much property he will be able to buy." He wondered lazily.
After resting for a minute, he went to see how the testing was going on. However, when he arrived there to see them, Severus and Ragnar were just happily sitting by a table and eating snacks.
"What the... why didn't you call me?" He asked angrily.
"We thought you'd be busy and didn't want to disturb." Ragnar defended while chewing on some french fries.
"Bull..." he noticed Grace coming. "Excrement... You just wanted to hog the food alone."
"Mag, sweetie, will you be going out today?" Grace asked him.
Magnus looked at his watch. "Yes, I got to meet some people at the palace. As I will be going to school the day after tomorrow."
"Then can you go to my office and bring me a file? Today is a holiday and I don't want to disturb my juniors. They have a family too after all." She requested.
"Of course, mum. Just tell someone at the hospital to keep it out for me. Sev and Rag, I'm going. You two better clean the room before finishing the experiments." He ordered them.
"WHAT? Why? Why do you get to go out and we have to work here?" Ragnar complained.
"CHAD! Give Rag another slap tonight in his sleep." He ordered the fat cat, sitting on Grace's shoulder and acting cute in hope of getting his sentence reduced.
"You two ate my fill of snacks. And I am going out for work too. I was also using my magic for hours. While you two were playing around with the bombs... what? You thought I didn't notice, huh." he said and walked out.
He actually didn't know they were playing, but since they did not say anything he guessed they were indeed playing, and this confusion led to his benefit.
He quickly changed his clothes and this time apparated with Abe to the palace since he needed to be quick. Before leaving for school, he needed to give the queen some instructions on what to do. He avoided talking to Prime Minister though because these were people with ever-changing interests and positions. Politicians were like rats, they would bite anything when they're hungry, even the hand that feeds them.
He took a seat inside the office that was now specifically designated for him since he visits the palace a lot and it's much convenient to call the Prime Minister directly here to talk about important things.
At the moment, the Prime Minister was winning a lot of respect and fame because of the handling of South Africa. However, Magnus hated him just for this reason. The man didn't even say it for once who was the biggest helper, the Royal Family. The food being sent to South Africa was bought from the Royal fund.
"I guess I should punish him for this disobedience. Hmm, when are the elections?" He wondered and started to brew something in his chaotic head.
After thinking for a few minutes, he planned to tell MEDA to maybe find a small scandal about him and let it slip out in the media. If he didn't help the royal family to increase the reputation then why should he let him increase his own?
