Harry Potter: Blood Of The Dragon Chapter 137

Dumbledore nodded. But first, they needed to talk to the legal guardian of David, or else Sister Mary might get jailed if a child went missing.
"Well, the standard protocol says you need to inform the guardian. The same goes for orphan children. But, in this case, she's a firm believer in god. Religious people rarely take the existence of magic kindly and are quick to call it dark magic, demonic or whatnot." Dumbledore told them, indirectly asking what they should do.
"She knows..." David spoke up.
They all turned to him in surprise. Magnus quickly asked, "And what did she say?"
"Well, since I came here, weird things were constantly happening to me or around me. She noticed once, when we had run out of water in the Orphanage due to some pipeline problem, I was somehow able to create water in a jar. I didn't know how I did it but I was just thirsty.
"She started praying to god at that moment, calling it a miracle and that I was loved by God. I think she will appreciate getting some answers about why I am able to do all this, because even now she sees me doing strange things."
Magnus and Dumbledore looked at each other's faces. "Professor, let's try telling her. We can always obliviate her if things go left."
~This kid...~ Dumbledore was shocked by how cool Magnus was with this. But he knew that the Ministry obliviates people on a daily basis in thousands.
"I will go and ask her to come here. Aunt Grace can keep the kids downstairs." Ragnar got up.
He went downstairs and told Sister Mary to come upstairs. Grace already knew everything so she handled the kids. George also helped her while making himself look like a human old man.
Sister Mary was confused as she arrived upstairs. There, she saw David and the old man.
"What's the matter?" She asked.
"Please take a seat, Sister." Magnus helped her to a chair. She smiled towards Magnus and took a seat. In her eyes, Magnus was like an angel now.
Dumbledore started, "Sister Mary, do you know about the strange things that have been happening around David? Ever since you met him?"
Sister Mary's eyes fully opened. "Yes... D-did he do something to you? I assure you it was an accident..."

Magnus sighed and simply took out his wand from his sleeves and levitated the side table in the room. Then he turned to Ragnar and made him fly too. Ragnar though was having fun and started imitating fish.
"O Lord, my God you are my..." But Sister Mary was shocked beyond belief and started chanting prayers so fast they only understood the starting words.
Dumbledore quickly waved his wand and cast a charm that soothes people. Sister Mary slowly stopped praying and looked at Magnus with a newfound idea.
"You are blessed by the lord too..." she muttered.
Magnus scratched his head, "Umm... I guess you can say that. Well, Sister Mary, what you saw was something called magic. Not the kind you read in the Bible, it's neither related to miracles or demons.
"In this world, there lives a secret society in each country that can do magic. Leaving aside the magical beasts and creatures, all are humans, just like you and me. But, our ancestors evolved differently and now a small group of people have such gifted powers.
"There is a whole community of wizards out there that live in hiding, with their own banks, schools and markets. The reason why they hide should be imaginable by you, Sister."
Her mouth stayed open for a while. But thankfully she didn't seem scared, perhaps because Magnus had already impressed her.
"Why are you telling me... Ah... Is David also?" She realised.
Dumbledore took the wheel this time, "Yes, he is a Wizard. I'm Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts, a school for children who can do magic. It's not necessarily a hereditary thing. Anyone's child could turn out to be a magic-user.
"But, poor David here was left out, because of never receiving the acceptance letter. He was probably looked for by the faculty but he couldn't be found. Till now he's been suppressing his magic and it's not good.
"Just as an overloaded water pipe will burst, David's body is now overloaded with magic. If something is not done he will lose his life. For this, I want to take him to a teacher, who will also help him overcome this situation.
"You, as his guardian, need to permit it."
Sister Mary gasped and quickly went to David to hold his hand. "I'm sorry, child. I never knew you were in such danger. Yes... You must go with Magnus... I... But... What about the adoption papers?"

Dumbledore had it covered, "No need to worry there, Sister. Many orphans study at Hogwarts. Our Magical community has the Ministry of Magic that works with the Prime Minister's office. Everything will be taken care of."
Sister Mary actually felt very relieved knowing that at least the government knew about all this.
She turned to David and caressed his head, "I'm... Sorry, child. I wasn't able to help you all this time. I let you suffer all this time. You should go now, and become a powerful magician..."
"ACTUALLY... *BAM*" Ragnar wanted to point out that it's wizards and ruin their moment, but Magnus put a tape on his mouth.
"Remember, you will always have a home here. Besides, children will miss you." She emotionally said.
David was also feeling overwhelmed by emotions. He suddenly stepped forward and hugged Sister Mary.
"I... Thank you for keeping me here. Whatever my past was... You treated me like your own son. To me, you are also a mother. This was and will be my home. I will return as soon as I can learn magic." He released the hug and sniffed a few times. He was 16 but there was no harm in showing emotion when necessary.
Sister Mary warmly smiled and ruffled his hair, "Good luck. How will you be going there?"
Dumbledore replied, "We'll be going to the south coast. It's very far away but Fawkes here is an excellent teleporter. We will leave right now. Magnus, Ragnar and David, come to me and hold my arm."
Magnus excitedly ran first. "Sister, tell mum that I'm going to see a war hero. I might come back late, she can return home with George. Oh, yes she knows about magic."
He could only say that and David had just waved his hand when Fawkes suddenly burst into flames. With that, all of them vanished with fire.
Sister Mary once again started chanting prayers, influenced by the majestic cry of Fawkes.
...
*Fire sound*
The fire appeared in a field of grass. Not too far was the sea and in front of them was a house.
"Ah, this place feels so refreshing." Ragnar took a long breath. While David was checking his body to see if he was hurt.
Magnus, however, had already dashed towards the big house. But when he arrived at the door, he was shockingly greeted by a grumpy looking Goblin.
"Stop... Human. Gringotts business going on here. Come later." The goblin told him, actually it sounded like an order.
"No, I will meet him today. It's also urgent. Besides, don't you recognise me?" Magnus cockily asked while standing with a raised chin.
Goblin silently looked at Magnus and talked to himself internally.
~Hmm... I think I've indeed seen him. Blonde hair, check. Chubby face, check. Blue eyes, check. A scar on the left eye, check... F*CK.~
"Oho... Your Majesty... Welcome..." The goblin had a full change of attitude.
"Hehe, why are you standing here?" Magnus kindly asked him, knowing that the goblin was probably just doing his job and there was no need for face slapping.
"My boss is inside. Please, you may enter. My boss would fire me if I stopped you." The Goblin even opened the door for him.
At the same time, everyone else had caught up to him.
As Magnus proceeded to enter, for being in good mood he decided to give a Galleon to the goblin. He quickly put his hand in his pocket to take out the coins.
*PAT* *PAT*
But, he felt nothing. There were no coins in any pocket. Then, he realised even some rings were missing from his fingers, which he wore for some natural elements protection.
"What the hell..." He wondered where it went.
But, as he looked around, he had a glimpse of a disappearing figure. He could only see its back, a small cat-sized grey creature.
Magnus knew what he was against. "DAMN THOSE NIFFLERS. NOBODY TAKES MY GOLD!"
Poor Nifflers had no idea that someone else who loved gold more than them had arrived.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.
