Mrs Gu had gone against her instincts to ask this. Although she felt very awkward asking this, she just had to. She knew that Xiao ai had a past and already knew she likes girl since Gu Bojing was in the same high school with her, but she being with her now supposed friend Lifen was causing a little trouble for her.

She was afraid that it was because of Lifen that Xiao ai doesnt love Gu Bojing. After all she heard that Lifen does not have a boyfriend and doesn't love the man that is chasing after her. Were things not adding up?

Chairwoman Mo was the most surprised. "Lifen and Xiao ai..." she gave grandmother Mo a side glance. "I dont think so. I have never heard."

"Did Bolin say this?" Grand other Mo asked and Mrs Gu agrees. "Then it must be true."

Chairwoman Mo quickly exclaimed. "Mom!" She looks at Mrs Gu and quickly tries to explain. "Err..you see..Mrs Gu the thing is...our Xiao ai at one time. You know kids, they always make mistakes. They pass through their teenage years and think that is how life will continue..."

Seeing that she was rambling on and on, Mrs Gu held her hands and softly said. "I know our Xiao ai used to like girls and still does. I mean she still likes to appreciate girls but she would not do anything. I know that. I am just worried that perhaps she still likes Lifen and so she is not into Gu Bojing that much. Did you force her to not like girls...?"

Grandmother Mo exclaimed. "Nonsense! Like that brat looks like she can be forced. She liked that Chunhua or whatever his name is boy on her own and then married your son without even telling us. We wouldnt force her to change her sexuality."

"Then...our ai and Lifen..are they?"

She did not finish it before chairwoman Mo interrupted. "I am sure it is nonsense. It cant be. I mean they did meet abroad and Xiao ai isnt one to keep in touch with her ex girlfriends." Saying this made her feel awkward considering that they were discussing this with Xiao Ais mother in law.

Now what will the Gus think of their daughter and Lifens relationship? Could it be that even Gu Bojing was already nursing the idea that Xiao ai was having an affair with Lifen. Does he already thinks that? Could that be true?

Chairwoman Mo dare not think such things.

"Besides I dont think the Long brat was interested in girls. Didnt Bolin give us the gossip that Li brat is chasing her?"

Chairwoman Mo did not know how to explain this. "Actaully..." she began. It was better to come out true than to let the other two women think she knew soemthing and was hiding it. "I heard from the circle that Lifen was sent abroad because her family didn't support of her liking girls back then. So they threw her in Russia at a young age. She had her high school education there was well."

Mrs Gu felt immediately sorry for the poor Lifen, not knowing the idiot was a cunning one. "Oh..I did not know that. That is so cruel. Were they hoping she would change if she went abroad?"

Grandmother Mo clicked her tongue. "Throwing such a young child abroad, it is obvious they were hoping she would never return. Her fathers family has always being one that is strict on culture."

The two women both agreed to this. They were the overseers of the cultural museum in the heart of the city, how was it to be heard that their only daughter was interested in girls.

Now that there was silence among the women, they were each thinking if Xiao ai and Lifen were truly involved with ecah other. If they were, are they still seeing ecah other?

Is that why Xiao ai cant fall in love with Gu bojing and Lifen wont accept Yushengs proposal?

Grandmother Mo was quick to lighten the atmosphere. "sigh...which school did your brat attend when you moved here?"

Chairwoman Mo nudges her mother. "You cant call her son brat in her presence." She whispered.

Mrs Gu gave a light chuckle to their interactions. "It is fine. The idiot is a brat anyways. He attended Zenith High school. Sigh..back in those days, my boy was quiet innocent. But kids...they grow up so fast."

Chairwoman mo smiled to this. Xiao AI also grew up so fast. And now all her kids were complete with Dongai returning. She couldn't explain just how happy she was. Although she was also perplexed.

"Did Bolin also attend Zenith high school. You..isnt that Xiao ais school?"

Mrs Gu squeezed her feets in her shoe. Should she have not mentioned that Gu Bojing attended Zenith high school given that the brat wanted to hide it from Xiao ai?

"That is true. They have a similar age, they must have attended school together without knowing. This is exciting. I should tell the drama queen. You know when Xiao ai was in school, although she did not stay with me, her bother and sister tells me she is quite popular among the boys and girls. Although I suspect it is more like being popular for being troublesome."

Mrs Gu awakwrdly laughed. "About that...can you not let Xiao ai know that he attended the same school with her?"

"Fine. If you dont want to tell, we will beat it out of Bolin."

Mrs Gu knew Bolin would definitely say it all so she decided to give them a brief. "Actually they had met while they were in school. But she does not remember a thing. My son tells me it is better we dont tell her and let her remember on her own."

Chairwoman Mo agrees to this while Grandmother Mo fishes for more gossip. "So you are saying your brat has liked our troublesome one since high school?"

"Yes."

"Hmmmm...that troublesome girl. She sure is lucky."

Chairwoman Mo quickly shifted the topic off the kids matter and they began to talk about how the night would be like.

Lifen had already told the kids to stop crying and was persuading them to go with Xu Ning and Si Meng when Xiao Ai joined her.

"Were you releasing your intestines, you sure took a whole in the ladies."

Xiao AI gave a faint smile. "I had an upset stomach."

Worried, she asked. "Did your eat something bad?"

"No. I must be nervous about tonight. Maybe because I am attending my first party with my husband and daughter." She quickly finished it with a laugh.

Lifen shook her head and spoke to the kids. "Move now or I mow you little ones."

Xu Ning handed out more candies and gave the inspectors daughter as well. "Be nice and act like the big girl you are."

Although the kid was not happy that she did not have her way like she always did, she was at least satisfied that she got some candy.

Xiao Ai bends to pick duoduo up and bades good bye to the inspector and his wife. The staff manager was worried that she looks too calm and would later cause trouble for them, so she went to Hannah who was about to walk in.

"Miss Mo, can you please say sorry to Mrs Gu on my behalf again? I am afraid she is still mad at me."

Hannha glares at the staff manager. "Aish...I should be the one receiving the apology given that you handed out my reservation like that."

The staff manager went red and wanted to apologize when Hannah stopped her.

"Its fine. I will just pay again. You little one, you had better treat me well if you still want me to come here."

The staff Manager gave her a wide smile and bowed sincerely. "Of course Miss Mo. Of course. Thank you so much."

"No prob...." she waves it off with a hand and walked in.

The staff stares at Hannah like she was an angel that descended from heaven while they threw a glare at the door. The big sister is an angle while the little sister is the devil. Why cant that Mrs Gu be this nice?

Hannah ran into her mom and the other two ladies in the waiting room. Awakwardy she greeted.

Grandmother is always the first to respond. "Aish..you didnt come home last night? Say are you already planning to pack out? Do you have someone you are seeing?"

Chairwoman Mo who knew why she didnt come home simply stares at her purse with guilty eyes. "Are you feeling okay?" She asked.

Hannah replies with her polite smile as always. "I am. Thank you. Mrs Gu, thank you for being lenient on my Xiao ai." She the gave her a bow.

"Oh..no it is fine. She is my duaghter too. Gu Bojing is now the son in law actually."

Grandmother Mo and Mrs Gu laughed to this.

"I slept at Bolins last night." She answered grandmother Mos question.

Mrs Gu stares at her with wide eyes.
