Everyone was sitted quietly in the room. If the room were not a VIP, Jenny wondered if it will fit all without someone feeling claustrophobic. As Jenny balled and unballed her fists, she resisted not attacking the young girl sitting beside Xiao ai. What annoyed her the most was that her sister seme to be quite close to this girl. Did they know how evil she could be with her superstitious believes?

Xiao Ai remembered Bolin and his secretary and suspected they might just be lying somewhere in the hospital but she did not bother to remind the rest afterall Bolin didnt like her. She sure was being petty for accusing Bolin of such but should the young man not think about how she felt and why she chose to pick on him before saying such a thing?

She really did think of Bolin as her own brother but the one had said he didn't like her a bit. Xiao Ai decided in her mind to make his life miserable and annoy him till he decides to move out of the country.

Did he not like her? Fine. She would give him a better reason to not like her. She would frustrate him so much that he would wish he never knew her.

Lifen who was occupied with thoughts on how to meet the real shaman suddenly remembered that Little Guy too was involved with Xiao Ai yet he did not lose consciousness like her. She scrutinised him from up to down making Little Guy sit more straight.

Could it be he had offended the other boss?

Lifen was just as not nice as Xiao Ai.

Xiao Ai ignored Little Guy and asked the girl that he had brought. "The shaman is your grandmother?"

"Yes. Goddess, I did not for once think that I will come to you like this. Goddess, say how did you really get Emperor Gu? Did you abduct him and ..." she lowered her voice and whispered to Xiao Ai. "Force him to sign the papers?"

Xiao Ai smiled at Gu Bojing and quickly looked away. She did not know why she felt guilty towards the man who showed her nothing but kindness. Gu Bojing checked his phone before relaxing back in his chair. Was she not worried about the camp?

This husband wasnt worried that he could be affected by his wife's fate but was instead worried about her other business.

"You will be surprised to find out how they are marired." He turned to Jenny who was opposite him, by Yushengs side. "Do you know how Jenny? Ir do you believe two people fell in love and decided to get married?"

Jenny scowled at him before Yusheng spoke. "Why have you been extra talking to her? I dont find that funny." Yushengs tone showed that he was protective of the girl and his facial expression wasnt nice towards Emperor Temper.

"Men like to court dangerous things like death." Gu Bojing replied and he stared at Xiao Ai who did everything to avoid his gaze. "Especially if that death comes in the most amazing form. Why would I not be attracted to fire if it glows so beautifully."

When he completed his sentence, there was pin drop silence in the room and Xiao Ai almosy felt as if everyone could hear how crazily fast her heart was beating. This man does he not know what his words mean or is he doing it on purpose?

She almost went crazy when he added a smile and winked at her. Xiao Ai was so surprised that she had her mouth open. If Little Shaneless beside her hadn't tapped her, her jaw would be mopping the floor.

Just when she thought to let him go, he does this and makes her want him even more.

"You...Gu...you..cant you be quiet?" She stammered.

Everyone:"...." Ok?

Be quiet and dont tease your wife? We dont want your dog food Mr and Mrs Gu.

Gu Bojing raised his hand in surrender. "Whatever your say Mrs Gu. You have all of me to command."

Little shameless and Jenny who were just young adults 'eeweed' at the couple. How gross to hear the adults tease eachother.

Xiao AI shook her head and started singing the anthem.

No. Hubby will not occupy my mind. I have better things to think about. Lives are on the line.

Awwwnn...hubby is so adorable. How can anyone not want a man like that? How am I supposed to be mad at him if he looks that handsome.

"Xiao Ai...you are listening arent you?" Lifen asked.

Xiao AI quickly nodded. "Of course I am. What do you take me to be? I am always attentive."

"Good so about the money you mentioned Yusheng..." Lifen started and Xiao Ai quickly interrupted.

"Wait when did you guys talk about money? Who is receiving?" She quickly asked.

Lifen raised a brow and playfully glared at her friend. "I was teasing you. Knew you werent listening. Anyways we said nothing."

Xiao Ai glared Lifen. "You. Dont ever dare to joke with me regarding money."

She really thought they were sharing money. How ridiculous of Lifen!

"Little shameless, what is it that your grandmother sent you for?"

When Yusheng asked, Xiao Ai became attentive and serious, she really wanted to know what the old lady had to say to her. Afterall it was her who told her father back then that Xiao Ai would turn out to be a monster who would eat up everyone around her.

Little Shameless brought out a paper from her bag and gave it to Xiao Ai. Hesitantly Xiao Ai accepted the paper and unfolded it.

Her expression did not change till she folded the paper and broke out into a mysterious smile.

So it was like that. Was that why she had this fate?

She would do it again if such were to happen. She rotated her head to stare at Gu Bojing and her smile widened.

I would do it again. For you. I would do anything.

Because I know. I know that you would do the same for me.

"Thank you hubby."

Gu Bojing was slightly surprised but did not show it. He had no idea why his wife was thanking him but he still replied with a smile. "You are always welcome Mrs Gu."

Yusheng seemed to be the most eager as he ignored the couple and aksed the girl again. "Is that all? Could she not have texted it?"

Little Shameless glanced at the man and shook her head. "My grandmother also said to tell Miss Mo that..."
