Xiao Ai chose her words carefully. "Not exactly. I was a cruel young girl during high school days."

Gu Bojing scoffed. "I can bet you were more than that."

She raised a brow at him and he muttered a sorry."Theres a boy I used to...hmm.like used to boss around."

"Bully?" He completed.

She sighed. "I regret it. Yes theres a boy I used to bully. His dream was to be a software engineer. "

"You must have thought it was foolish."

Yes. That was what she told Glasses Boy then. That his dream was silly with his kind of brain.

"I did say that back then." His hands tightened on the wheel and she focused on the road. "But I didnt mean it. I actually thought it was brilliant. Honestly, I knew he was always a brilliant one. If only I had let him focus."

Gu Bojung suddenly halted the car and Xiao Ai jerked forward. "Then why did you tell him it was foolish?" He demanded with an urgency that scared her. "You could have killed his dream."

Xiao Ai was surprised and looked back to see the cars horning at them. "Move. I will not have my license suspended because of you." She said that because it was her car he was driving.

Gu Bojung realized he might acted out of character a bit too much.

"I don't know why I said it back then."

He gave himself a mocking smile. She said that to him without thinking.

"But I didn't mean it. I think I said it playfully. "

"You always say things playfully."

"But hes not the type to give up on things easily. I know it. He has an endurance that is commendable. Something I hope for. Hes probably achieved his dreams and his somewhere. Happily married with kids and a loving wife. I think I trained him well. After meeting yours truly, I doubt he will let anyone boss him around. After all no one can be as cruel as I am." she boasted.

It made Gu Bojing smile. A smile from the heart.

He was happily married or perhaps that's what he made himself think. And there were no kids yet. Xiao Ai was on the pill.

She shook her head. "No." Then she glanced at him. "For someone who's my husband, you appear very comfortable talking to about my past exes."

She saw something on her phone and smiled. "Apparently Mom and dad in law are on their trip to Dubai."

"Thanks to a particular little thief."

She made a funny face at him. "Just drop me off at the mall. I have to meet Lifen for the government case. And you..." He gave her a side glance. "Did you not have any exes?"

He smiled. A mysterious one that he directed at her. As if telling her she knew the answer.

The tension between Bolin and his secretary still went on.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Bolin asked.

Miss Ou washed some fruits as she glanced at him, "I dont think theres anything to about Boss. It was a mistake." She stopped to sniff. "On both our parts. We were drunk."

Bolin propped himself upright to sit while facing her. "I would never take advantage of a drunk lady Xinyi."

"Kiss?"she filled in. "Make out session?" She suggested. "What exactly could our problem be? I want to be matured about this but I..i cant.."
